To be honest, I haven't been to the Olive Garden for many years. In my experience, prices were just too high for the area. Lacrosse is lucky to have other local options that don't need to pay for nationwide marketing campaigns. And as I remembered, the food was OK, but nothing special. Your server, "Ryan" totally won me back as a customer! I am a member of a small group of friends who get together monthly for lunch, and we take turns with the Bill. Believe it or not, I had to look up the address of this Olive Garden, because it is located in area of the city that has been changing pretty rapidly. Always eager to spend time with this group, I had been looking forward to the gathering, even though I was somewhat on the fence about our meeting place. But we had such a great time, and most of it was due to Ryan's amazing attitude! All of us travel quite a bit, and I had just gotten home from a really nice vacation down at the Caribbean. But I can honestly say that not one server in Saint Barts could hold the candle to Ryan's work ethic! He was friendly without being cloying, and he gave honest recommendations without seeming to steer us to the high priced options. To settle our discussion about the various soup options, he appeared with four small bowls so that we could all sample! And I can say that he did OG a huge favor, because all 4 soups were Way above average! He thoughtfully helped our hostess with her own order, tactfully pointing out that he could wrap up her leftovers so that she could enjoy them later for dinner... He was just so thoughtful, so attentive... So much of everything that you would want in a first rate server! I've never met the gentleman before, and I can assure you that no money changed hands in return for this review. And I am seldom moved to the point that I willingly write a review. But it's only fair to let management... And future patrons!... know that you can relax at Olive Garden if Ryan is on the job! (I didn't get his last name and I feel bad about that...) The server was very attentive and helpful. The food was good. I had a mushroom ravioli dish and my mother had the eggplant parmigiana. Our seating area was clean and well lit. Issues that rated three stars: not handicap accessible wrt door buttons - entryway and bathroom. And, the handicap parking was in side of building and it directly in front. We arrived and were seated immediately in our favorite little room. However, we sat there for least 15 or more minutes. Keep in mind that were not busy. We returned to the hostest and talked to her. Finally this server came. OK he took our drink order, brought the salad, no bread sticks, they are baking. Really! Food was mediocre at best. Rigatoni was mushy with sauce just thrown on. Chicken in the Gnocchi soup tasted wrong and the Alfredo was a bit pasty. Will never go back. If pasta is your business, make darn sure it's top notch. read more

Usually have a good time at Olive Garden. Everything was good till my soup was gone and the breadsticks were gone. Then someone came and asked if we wanted more breadsticks and soup! Never came then the manager came over and asked how it was going and we said 10 mins ago we were waiting on more breadsticks and soup. Then again it never showed up. Then the meal showed up and my water was gone and we never seen our server for a while. By then I was so disappointed that I asked for a box for all the food we had. Then after we got our boxes it took almost another 10 plus minutes for the server to come back and ask how we would be paying. I pay cash not using the thing at the table. Great service, we were expecting a wait but it only took us a few minutes before we had a table, breadsticks salad with the grated cheese, and amazing alfredo, chicken and shrimp. Well we love the soup and salad so that never disappoints ordered steak with Alfredo linguine on the side and actually filet mignon they did it perfectly rare and they did substitute angel hair pasta which was my request thoroughly enjoyed it and want to do it again waitress was kind understood we had a baby everything was kept clean and the staff was friendly read more

My family of 4 have been coming to this location for years, the last time being this past Sunday 3-3-2024. It was not great to say the least. It was dirty, bits all over the floor and window sills. Our drinks were served in visibly dirty glasses. The food was mediocre at best. Our waitress, Sara, did not check on us once during our meal. I hadn't been to an Olive Garden for a couple of years. I was in town visiting family for the long weekend and wanted to take them out. The online wait list is meaningless - it said 16-20 minutes. Ten minutes later we're at the restaurant and they tell us it's another 25 minutes. The restaurant was less than half full, but we were fine with waiting at the bar. Although they were filling orders for the tables, they were not overly busy and totally ignored us. They made eye contact with us several times, but never came to the table or even asked from the bar (10 ft away) if we'd like something. If it wasn't already obvious that they didn't want to bother with us, one of them (Alexis) kept making comments to her co-worker like "I'm in a bad mood" and "I don't feel like talking to anyone". I wouldn't have even had a problem with her saying those things to vent to her friend after a long day, if she had just pasted on a smile & served us, but apparently that was asking too much of her. We were eventually seated, & our server Jena was sweet & the food was very good, but Alexis and her co-worker at the bar really ruined the experience. Leave it to me to write a review for Olive Garden. I came here on a business trip mainly because of its proximity to my hotel (they shared a street sign) and my utter exhaustion and lack of motivation to hunt down anything further. I had the opportunity to both sit at the bar and enjoy a glass of wine while reading my book and also sitting down to dinner. Service at the bar and my table were both great - friendly and attentive. I didn't need more. The staff at the hostess stand weren't as sharp and had an overall disinterested vibe about them but honestly, I didn't care. I got to both my bar stool and my table with little trouble. Everyone knows what the OG has to offer - heavy pasta dishes, unlimited salad and bread sticks, etc. I was eating late and didn't want anything too crazy so I went out on a limb and ordered the parmesan crusted tilapia. It was really good! It came along with angel hair pasta with zucchini and squash and all that paired with the obligatory salad and bread sticks made for a really enjoyable, comforting dinner while away from home. My server was attentive but didn't rush me (as some do when you are eating alone) and also hooked me up with a mini dessert to take back to my room. All told - a nice experience. I know I am not going to run to my local OG when I am looking to go out while home but I would recommend visiting this location if you happen to be in the area and especially if you are staying at the Holiday Inn Express right next door! read more

Last night my friend took me to Olive Garden in Onalaska for my 50th birthday. Not only was the food delicious but the customer service we received from our server HANNAH was OUTSTANDING!!!! She is AMAZING!!!! She kept us laughing, made phenomenally good suggestions on everything from appetizers, entrees, and wine selections. Not only that but she kept us laughing and even got her band of singing coworkers to sing "Happy Birthday" to me. Hannah totally made our visit memorable. If you are looking for wait staff that exemplifies what true customer service is; have Hannah train them. This girl went above and beyond. I'll never forget how awesome my 50th birthday dinner was. The food was ok. We came with a party of 5 and I think the waitress was a bit overwhelmed. I am certain the bartender was because it took a long time for the drinks to come out. The funny thing is the waitress through him under the bus stating he was not having a good day and was very slow. I thought to myself great in fighting in the restaurant. Server Alexandra was amazing! She was very attentive and funny. Very smiley and happy. Her food recommendations far exceeded our expectations. I loved my chicken parmesan and my friend very much enjoyed her lasagna. Wine suggestion was delicious and cheesecake for dessert! Ended our evening with a much deserved, large tip. Very classy establishment with great management. The food is just okay. Not bad, but nowhere near fine dining. Better than fazoli's is all I can really say. The service was great last time I went July 2, 2020. The manager and wait staff were highly professional, and when one of our orders got delayed, the manager to apologize to us in-person, and then gave us FREE desert for compensation. Had the best experience at this Olive Garden! We sat at the bar and Alexis immediately greeted us and asked how we were doing. We got our drinks right away and put our order in within 5 minutes. We went into Olive Garden just now, wanting to sit at the bar. There were a lot of people in the bar area awaiting to be seated at a table. We prefer the bar, there were a few open bar stools as well as two open tables. Most of the customer just standing waiting to be seated in the dining area. Two hosts greeted us and tried taking us to a table and we said we preferred the bar. So one of the hosts told us that the bartender was very busy and that they could seat us in the dining area. We politely said no and then said, well I guess we will go to another place then. They said "Ok, have a good night". Extremely rude to turn away paying customers, instead of accommodating our request when there were clearly seats available in the bar! read more

Sometimes waited a long time for my food to arrive but chalk that up to a very busy place. Usually food arrives in 20min. Three stars for the food, it was tasty. Two stars for the cleanliness of the table/chairs, etc. One chair had finger/food smudges on it, possible from a kid. Two stars for the cocktails. Two were good, one was lousy. The vodka tasted like white wine. One star for the waitress. She was checked out. Flat personality, but ok, she wasn't overtly rude. So why the one star-she had to be reminded that we ordered drinks, she said sorry. She forgot a meal we ordered. It came late. She didn't comp at all for the missing meal and drinks. To be fair, the floor manager did come by and ask if everything was fine...we did say yes.we didn't want to embarrass the waitress on the spot. The Olive Garden. Wow. After a couple visits we've learned to ONLY go there for the soup and salad lunch special. The food is ridiculously heavy and fatty, and overpriced for the quality. The staff needs to back the heck off. I don't need a new BFF when I go for dinner, really, and when I say, "no thank you" to desert after I couldn't finish 3/4 of the meal, take my word for it.
