Our waitress was very friendly and explained the menu since we hadn't been there before and pointed out specials available during the week. My husband got the clam chowder soup, my son got wings with sauce on the side. I chose the nachos that came out in a big charcoal can and the waitress lets them dump out on the plate from the bottom of the cab. Neat presentation but felt all the good stuff then ended up at the bottom and you had to dig through. The food was average. I also got the house margarita which was a great price but it watered down fairly quick. Overall, I'd try it again.

As we approached, I couldn't help but notice the theme and restaurant chain vibe it gave off. Not to mention, they have a to go window, if you're into that sort of thing. If I'm eating out, I prefer the full-service dining room. I haven't seen both options: takeout window & dining room. Sure, there's an option to order to go at a full-service restaurant. What a fab option to bring something special lhome for someone after your meal. Especially, if they can't make it out to a restaurant due to physical constraints. But, this restaurant has a window with full service to go options. Is it to go or a full service sit down restaurant with a menu to order? It's both? And, probably very taxing on the back of the house and their employees. The service inside can improve a bit. It wasn't incredibly friendly but wasn't unfriendly. It was ok. Also, fish fry Friday was packed and the table behind us sent back their fish. The manager caved and gave them their meal on the house. My mom and I were ok. We didn't have alcohol or anything too crazy. She had the fish fry and enjoyed the sweet potato fries. I had a Cobb salad and it was good. They got all of my weird requests correct. Overall, it wasn't the worst experience but it wasn't the best either. Maybe it was the fish fry Friday madness. But, the restaurant wasn't as good as its hyped up to be by the locals.

The lady taking the order only rang in the two toppings, not the supreme. When my husband arrived to pick everything up, she told him they could either remake the pizza or give a credit. We chose the remake, and she said it would be 12 minutes. Well past those 12 minutes, our other food was already sitting in boxes getting soggy. I called and spoke with Monica, who was just as unfriendly as she was when taking my original order. I asked her to please check the appetizers since we had just spent $100 and didn't want to bring home soggy mozzarella sticks, gator bites, and calamari. Her response? While I was on the phone with my husband, she said, "I was going to give you a credit, but since we're having to remake your appetizers, I'm not. You can have the pizza that was a mistake." None of this was our fault. The order was entered incorrectly, and instead of owning the mistake, they acted like we were asking for something unreasonable by wanting hot, fresh food. For the amount we spent, and for a place we've visited many times (a favorite of my dad's), this was extremely disappointing. Mistakes happen--we get that. But the way this was handled was unacceptable. We won't be recommending this location, and if you do order, double‑check everything before you leave. Merry Christmas, Papa Willie's...

Huge, overflowing, diverse, fresh and tasty. Mike had the grouper sandwich which was also huge and delicious looking. Great service and awesome food. Great local place.

Came here with a long-time friend for a fine dining experience, and they certainly did not…read moredisappoint! Even without a reservation, the hostess seated us within five minutes, which was a fantastic start. To help us beat the Florida heat, they thoughtfully brought us iced water right away without us even asking. We started with the cocktails: I ordered the 'Firefly' and my friend got the 'I'm Trini & I know it'--both were wonderfully light and refreshing. For appetizers, we went with the Foie Gras (GF) and the Scallops. Both were exceptionally succulent, delicious, and plated with the fine-dining presentation they deserved. Since our first round went so well, we ordered a second. My friend loved the Firefly so much they got another, while I tried the 'Meet me in Maui,' which I thoroughly enjoyed. The second Firefly wasn't quite as spot-on as the first--perhaps a shift change behind the bar--but we still enjoyed them all. With our second drinks, we ordered the main course: lamb chops with a side of vegetables, cooked medium-rare. We planned to share the meal and specifically asked for the mushrooms on the side since they weren't gluten-free. Unfortunately, when the dish arrived, the mushrooms were placed right on top of the vegetables beneath the lamb. The server was extremely apologetic when we pointed it out (likely a simple miscommunication given that we were sharing), so we just picked them off and placed them on my plate. A quick note on the lamb: we ordered medium-rare, but next time I'll probably go for medium-well, as it was a bit too tender for our preference--though still remarkably tasty. Surprisingly, the vegetables ended up being the unexpected star of the plate! Lastly we ordered desserts, They got the Creme Brulee (GF) and I got the Chocolate Hazelnut Cake of which I tried both, and they were exquisite. I wish I had a larger portion. Especially of the hazelnut cake with shavings of coconut on it. It came out looking like a piece of art when placed on the table. Despite the minor hiccup with the mushrooms, the service was wonderfully prompt, and the overall experience was fantastic. The ambiance is seductive, attractive, and features a gorgeous artistic mural--making it an ideal spot for a sophisticated adult night out. (They also have a private space across the street for larger parties and events.) We were both completely satisfied and will definitely be returning, either together or separately, to try more of their incredible menu. Highly recommended!" Sorry didn't get the lamb chops and dessert , was to engaged in conversation but definitely worth getting.

Date of Visit: Aug. 29, 2026…read more Before I begin let me start with this. I don't use YELP to complain about a single visit. Before I start a review or even visit a new discovery I see what others say. I see reviews from people for (1) start just to rant about prices or portions and it's the reviewers only post. Some even write they been coming for years and it was great but that one bad visit justifies a (1) star? Sorry for my rant. I will begin. It was Saturday morning, the wife was out of town on a girls trip and it was me and Fritz (986) out for a drive. My lunch destination today is the Burger Station. From St. Pete I took US19 all the the way to Ingles to check out the Cross Florida Barge Canal. It is an interesting site. After that it on to the Burger Station. My first attempt was a while back and the lot was full and had to continue. This day there was room, it was 1:30. Not sure what to expect only what I have read from on-line articles which is why I am stopping today. As I walked inside I saw the counter where the orders are taken, great. Checking out the menu on the wall I decided on the Double Cheese with LTO and an order of fries. They have fountain drinks too. After ordering found a table/booth and took in the ambiance of a retro store. Decor was nicely done and clean. It didn't take long and my burger arrived. Yes, they bring it to your table. It looked great, well put together. However, I was a bit put back with fries. I prefer a regular straight cut with no coatings. Like Checker fries, but hay, people must like them. Most reviews they really liked the onion rings, next time. First bite and I could tell the LTO was fresh and Lettuce crispy. The burger was also done right too with the cheese nicely melted, should of tried the onion rings. Overall I will return, to try a shake and the rings. Service was great and clean place. If you find your self on US 41 and needing a bite to eat, I recommend. Peace.
