They are open for lunch on Friday but there isn't a lunch menu,you have to order from dinner menu. My daughter's steak was not cooked like she ordered it, the last 4 times she has had to send it back. My granddaughter and grandson got " dilla bites ordered rare and they came out crunchy medium well. Over all it was okay but I still think you are open for lunch you should have a lunch menu. Next time I will go to Outback. Went to Longview Texas Roadhouse again with 7 relatives and had a wonderful experience. The waitress Raegan was the best server I have had in a long time. Great food and reasonable prices. The salad is one of my favorites, as is their Roadkill Grill steak with mushrooms and sautéed onions.

This place has went out of their way to not support nurses during COVID. From allowing patrons to spit balls in nurses faces to refusing service to nurses at the bar. The bar has been set so low it's a tavern in hades. I'll jot give this place a dime more of my hard earned 16 hour a shift day money. Management pays lip service but is impotent in solving customer issues. Good luck TRH with your all American theme but treating the heart and soul of healthcare like road kill. I've been going to this TRH for 25 years and tonight was the worst meal and service I've ever had. It took at least 10 minutes before our waitress came to take our drink order then another 10 before we got our drinks and she came back to take our order. We never received drink refills or more rolls. The guy who brought our salads had long, greasy hair down to his shoulders and an unruly mustache. Since he was serving food that hair should have been pulled back. We always order the Filets. I asked for mine to be butterflied and medium-well. When mine arrived it was not butterflied. My husband also ordered MW but his was so rare it was not eatable. I guess we'll have to drive to Avinger or Tyler the next time we want a steak. read more

This restaurant was fairly good as far as the food goes. We came on Valentine's Day so it was very packed and we had a long wait but that was to be expected. The only issues I had were the waitress we had kept messing up our order and most of the normal amenities we get when going to any roadhouse we didn't get here. Wow. Wednesday night and this place was packed! We decided to seek a different place to dine. Why? The rude woman at the greet desk declared that for 2 people to get a table, the wait time would be "at least" an hour. She was chit-chatting with 3 other employees who were standing around. We went here for my cousin's birthday dinner and after we were seated, we didnt get a waiter until about 20 min and then finally the same guy we saw just standing around looking at us finally came for our orders. We were in Longview visiting my brother and sister in law, and were wanting a decent meal. This Texas Roadhouse delivered. Everyone's meal was very good, the service was excellent, no wait time, even though they were extremely crowded. We almost didn't stop here, due to most of these have the music turned up really loudly and we didn't want to deal with that, but this one wasn't like that. This is a place we don't understand. People either seem to really like it or think it is just okay. Most complaints seem to be the wait time. It seems to always be busy. For us, the food is just okay. Maybe that is because we try to eat everywhere...maybe some other reason. The ribeye is loved by many here. I have had it 3 separate times now, including today, and it was just okay if that. I eat steaks medium but today's was medium rare that I did not want...maybe that is why I did not care for it. I see others reviews that mention having to send back. Whatever, I've had a better Ribeye across the street at Saltgrass and much better than that at Leon's Steakhouse. Sides are good but other places have just as good or better. The Rolls and butter here are excellent and hard to beat and the complimentary peanuts are a considerate touch. The atmosphere to look at is cool in there but you have to wall out the loudness of the place.....it can be really loud. We probably won't be back. Service was terrible! Waitress greeted us promptly brought drinks and took our order. Then she briefly came by after someone else brought our food.. Ran out of drinks and had to wait 10 minutes after finishing meal to get the check. The tip reflected our dismay with service.. We asked for regular butter and didn't get it til halfway through the meal. Steak was overcooked and dry. Other guests with us were satisfied with their meals, chicken. We went there because I was hungry for Cactus Blossom. Service was slow but not that crowded. We got there about 3:15. First my salad came out then the meal, I asked about the Onion and she said it was probably ready to come out. I told her if it wasn't just cancel and remove from bill. Came to Roadhouse for a early Father's Day dinner, wasn't too busy at the time of our visit. I ordered the 16oz Ft Worth ribeye cooked medium well. It came to the table rare, they took it back to correct it, came back to the table cooked the same way. Not sure if they even tried to fix it. I told them not to bring it back, was disappointed at this point. The waitress took it off the ticket. No manager came over to talk to us about it. This happened our last visit too, but they did eventually cook it right last time. Oh well guess we will try Saltgrass or Outback next time. read more

This location is located right off the loop. The prices are reasonable for cheap dinner date . They are busier closer to the weekend. I love the bread but I prefer the regular butter and not the cinnamon. Good ambience for the young and older crowd. Menu is simple so don't expect anything out of the ordinary besides meats and potatoes, vegetables. They have good chili , so good I ordered some in August. read more

If you are planning to go to Texas Roadhouse.. I highly recommend calling ahead and making reservations. We headed there last night and it was 1hr 15 min wait for those without reservations.. even with our reservations it still was a 30 min wait. It's a small little place so things tend to get loud so if you are looking for a quiet steak dinner.. this isn't the place. I had the 16oz Rib-eye... having had this same meal at other steak restaurants.. . The steak was definitely tasty and 100% the way i asked for it.. I would get that again. My wife got the 12 oz one and it was the same, perfect. We also ordered the appetizers which was good for the wait, the main course came out in 12-15 Min's. Overall I wouldn't rate this place a full 5 Star's it's sort like TGIFridays nice open and friendly.. the value is definitely in the steaks but I wouldn't head here if you are expecting a nice slow meal where you expect to not feel like a cattle being rushed in / out. Texas Roadhouse has always been just a step above the average Outback for me. So it's slightly weird to visit a chain restaurant (other than Ruth's Chris) to have good steak. Well, Roadhouse doesn't compare to Ruth's Chris but it does do good steak. This is proven by the large crowd every night in this small city of Longview. It's also proven by myself going there twice in the last week. (No I don't live here, business only Thank Goodness) My buddy who ordered the catfish mentioned it was also pretty tasty. I also want to note that I ordered one of the appetizers, the grilled shrimp with garlic and butter was off the hook. Make sure you do it with beer though. I'm 6'1" and 185 and ordered 2. Yum! Yum! The rolls are soo good and the food is always cooked well. The environment is usually pretty crowded. We found that there is a set of Booths that are set behind the waiting area. You are cut off from the rest of the restaurant so it's not as loud and crowded. We always ask to be seated in that area. I think you have to ask. I love that they did this to allow people with small children or people with sensory issues to still be able to enjoy a meal here. Use call ahead seating! They are generally busy. It can also be loud. We've never gotten a bad meal here. When I want a great meal, great service, a fun atmosphere and (above all), good value for my money, I hop in the car and head to Texas Roadhouse.
