Super frustrating experience her Monday, 1/13. Seated right away with two toddlers. Drinks were never refilled. We repeatedly had to ask for more rolls. Our meals took a long time to arrive and when they did, the kids meal we ordered was incorrect. We asked for the correct order, not knowing it would take nearly 20 minutes for it to arrive. By that point; our kids were in tears and ready to go. We fed them as much as we could on our plates. By the time their food arrived, we had to leave. The waitress still charged us for it. I haven't been to Texas Roadhouse in awhile, and tonight was awesome. I got the 11oz Sirloin with the two choice sides, and it was beyond splendid. I had Destiny as my server, and she was one of those servers who seemed to like to go above and beyond on her customer service. Food is usually great unless they cook steak then it's usually not done all the way. Call ahead seating is a joke they won't even tell u how long the wait is on the phone so when u get there and the wait is an hour well I sure hope u didn't drive far bc you've wasted gas and time when you could have chosen somewhere else or stayed home. The wait for call ahead seating usually put walk ins first so be prepared to wait longer than someone who just walked through the door and didn't call ahead. I've never had a bad experience with Texas Roadhouse until I tried out this location. Food wasn't what I wanted, asked them to replace it and the manger Anna was very rude and not pleasant about the situation. People need to learn customer service and how it works. Won't be back. read more

OK I am dinging you guys up a bit now. Ate here, again, last night. The HH specials said "$1.50 10 oz. domestic drafts", so can you guys explain to me how Shiner Bock ain't domestic? It's made closer to here than Miller, Buttwiper, and Coors. My NY strip also had an inordinate amount of fat and gristle in it for what is a normally lean cut of beef. The worst part was when we joked around with your stubby little douche of a manager about the Shiner not being part of HH specials, he kind of got an attitude. Always great food! Very good salads, steak, grilled chicken, ribs, mashed potatoes, loaded baked potato, green beans & rolls!!! The atmosphere is a little loud for some people, but it doesn't bother me. Usually a long wait- even if you call ahead. They usually can't accommodate large groups. read more

It is what it is and fortunately they are consistent. There aren't very many choices in Longview for good restaurant food, especially when you have a large party. The staff was pleasant and the food was good. I recommend checking the meat counter before ordering. It's in the front by the entrance. Called ahead for seating using the app and was told 25-35 wait. On arrival, was told app was wrong: would be another 20-30 minutes. The filet I ordered was a perfect medium rare. Tonight the good was awesome. Had a steak and ceaser salad and the cactus blossom as an apportioned. It's their version of outbacks blooming onion. The steak was cooked good but just too much fat and the appetizer was a little too greasy. Had great yeast rolls like always. read more

This is one of the busiest Texas Roadhouse's that I've been to. Expect a wait and crowd at dinner time. The portions are generous and you can get a cheap steak here, probably why it's so busy. Steaks are often over-cooked but you can't complain about a $10-$20 steak. You get generous portions along with complimentary rolls. Even the veggies are soaked in butter so there's no way you go away hungry. If you want healthy, this isn't your place. I'd frequent more often but they don't carry one single craft beer. read more

Texas Roadhouse, it's an affordable steakhouse, I've been to this restaurant all over the states and it's always consistent. This restaurant isn't different then most atmosphere or food wise. Both were on point. I had the roasted chicken, that's right, chicken at a steak house...it's friggen awesome, was seasoned and cooked perfectly, green beans, a must have if you are into green beans. My two colleagues had ribs and chicken as well. They also were satisfied with their meals. Where this TX road house differs for most other Road Houses was the staff. First and foremost, our waitress was on point with our drinks, appetizer (fried onion) and eventual our main course. I say eventually because to their standard, the timing was unacceptible. The manager, without provoking, came up to our table while we waited for dinner, apologized for the untimely delivery of our food and offered a substantial discount for the inconvenience. I gladly accepted her offer, however, my colleagues and I looked at each other in confusion. We had sat socializing for no more then a beer or two. The timing of food was on point in all our opinions. Our waitress, Michelle (didn't catch her last name) was super sociable, super attentive, striking up entertaining conversation throughout our complete meal without being overwhelming or provoked. She legitimately wanted to talk with us about this, that and the other and wanted to know what we thought of our meals. I ordered an 8 oz steak and it was absolutely terrible. Very chewy and looked unappetizing. It was undercooked and did not seem fresh. Also, the service was very slow and inefficient. The appetizer I ordered was somehow messed up in the system and didn't arrive until about the same time as the food. It seems like this place has gone downhill a little bit since the opening of other new restaurants in town such as Bubbas 33. read more

Yummy! Steaks here are always cooked to perfection! Awesome dinner rolls and always friendly attentive staff. My husband and I never really have to wait long but we usually go after 7 or 8 at night lol. Great food! The rolls with cinnamon butter are to die for! Our waitress recommended a specialty drink that was amazing...and their service was surprisingly fast. If you're staying at any one of the many hotels nearby, this is the perfect place for lunch or dinner. There dinner specials before 6pm are really good, as is their happy hour 5pm-7pm. I will tell you, as a person that loves steak, and has been to may Texas Roadhouses across this country! I am sad to say, the one that would be my Home Texas Roadhouse, sucks! I went there yesterday June 30, 2019 and I decided to sit at the bar, it was kind of busy and started to get busy again, well, the lady behind the bar, I don't know if she thinks shes cute or that she can demand to treat customers like that, but I will tell you, she was short spoken, and kind of rude! Got to admit, she was quick getting my beer, but, she was to busy talking to the Manager of Golden Corral of Marshall and His soon to be wife about each others Weddings in September! When my salad was brought to me, it seemed to be more thrown in front of me, not placed in front of me! Then, while the Golden Corral Manager and his soon to be wife was trying to figure why I would not hire bar tenders that work in restaurant bars, my Steak was brought out, I started to eat my Ribeye and I noticed, it seemed salty, really salty! The lady Bartending never asked how it was, and then, when I just could not take anymore of it, and pushed it away, the bar tender sent one of the floor managers over to ask me what was wrong, I told her and she ask to remake it, and I said no, I wanted my bill, and they wanted to take it off my bill, and I said no I was not a Charity Case and I would be paying for my food and beer I had, While the Golden Corral Manager from Marshall and His soon to be wife was over make comments under there breath that a dead man could hear! So Unless you want a mouth full of salt or you want to go to the East Texas bad rendision of Dick's Last Resort! Don't waste your time or money! Best food in all of Longview! The wait is tuff sometimes, but for food that good there is a reason for it.

My wife and I at at Outback until Texas Roadhouse came to town. After our first trip there we have never been back to Outback. Texas Roadhouse has great steaks, salads, potatoes, and everything else. We have been eating there for years now, and we have never had a bad steak. The wait staff is always attentive although the place is always packed. That happens in good places. Call ahead seating is a joke. We came to celebrate my step sons birthday last night and I did the call ahead seating. I told the girl 6pm, and we arrived at 545 to be told it would be closer to 615. I told the manager that I had about 4 more people coming to add to the 15 that were already here waiting. She rudely informs me that she only had ready seating for 15 and the extras would be in another area. I told her to forget it, they were coming for his birthday and no since I'm sitting in another part of the restaurant. So at 645 we got called after at 625 she informs me that she had 15 ready. We walked back to the very back only to be turned around because the tables were still dirty and there was people sitting at some of them. I told the manager what happened, only to get more attitude and blown off. We stood around till 7pm to be called again. The service was good, our waiter was the only one that apologized for the whole situation, not the front door or the manager.
