Texas Roadhouse is a surprisingly good steakhouse! Despite being a chain restaurant, the food is consistently good. The steak is tasty and they offer some really good appetizers and side dishes. Also, the cinnamon honey butter rolls they bring to the table while you wait are incredible. The service is great, but this location does get very busy on weekends. You will wait a while for a table if you go on a Saturday night, but if you only have two in your party, try your luck at the bar for quicker seating. My family and I went for dinner on Friday, April 23rd, and boy were we impressed with our experience this time. From the moment we were seated to the moment we stepped out of the front door we experienced Texas Roadhouse's Legendary food and Legendary service. Our server, Stella, was the best we have ever had in any of the Texas Roadhouses we have been to across the country. She knew the menu, was very accommodating to my grandmother with dementia, had a very good attitude, was friendly and funny, and was almost always available. The food was perhaps the best I've had in any of their locations today. I visit a few times a month, and this location has been very hit or miss. Tonight you guys really hit it out of the park. Who ever was working the grills back there, I wish I could give you a shout out by name too. Great job guys, I know it can be rough during these times. Went there on my 21st birthday and they wouldn't let me get a drink because my license was expired. Bad experience! We left and went across the street to Chilis so I could get a drink. I even was going to use my free cactus blossom cup on and I couldn't because we had to leave. Haven't returned since and I used to go every other week. read more

Honestly this is easily my go to steakhouse in town the prices are fair and the staff is amazing. Let me get started with the appetizers though, there are very limited options, but they are all great and leave you wanting more! Next up is the steaks and what do you expect from a steakhouse? This is literally my go to place! I love it here. Me and my husband go often. The food is always up to standard , and any waitress we've ever gotten has taken care of us immensely. Always making sure we had the bread rolls which we love , and just being so attentive and nice. The manager on duty always comes around which is a nice touch. Never had bad food here or ever had an issue. And what's even better is they give military discount which is a nice touch. We didn't know this until a waitress mentioned it. Love this restaurant chain. My prime rib was delicious. The fresh bread rolls fresh are delicious. After we got seated it took about 5-7 minutes for the waitress to come around and get our drinks. I placed a call shortly after the store opened on Friday, hoping to place a pickup order for a later time of day. I needed a specific temp cook on prime rib which I knew sold quickly. At first they weren't going to be able to accommodate but when I spoke with the manager (I believe his name was Aaron) he was happy to help. My grandfather has been fighting cancer for about the last 6 years and was recently placed on hospice care as the cancer has invaded his brain once again and there is unfortunately nothing else they can do. Today (Feb 6th) is his 72nd birthday and when asked what he would like for his dinner he replied with a real nice steak meal. I'm a frequent diner at the Manhattan ks Texas roadhouse and their steaks are the best around so I decided to order a prime rib meal for him from there, to be picked up by my husband once he arrived in town (he's a truck driver). My papa is bedbound so unable to make the trip to Manhattan, and when I explained the situation Aaron told me he'd recently gone through something similar and would be happy to help. I thanked him,placed my order and all was done. When my husband arrived to pick the order up at 8 pm, and went to pay the ticket they charged him only for the brownie that we had ordered to go with his meal, and comped the rest of it. Aaron told him that my kindness with making the request, and my papas story had moved him and he wanted to help out. I just wanted to say that meant the absolute world to me, and my papa is so excited for his dinner this evening! The staff at the Manhattan branch have always treated us exceptionally well, but this was above and beyond and I wanted to make sure that everyone knew how much it meant! This is my husband & I's favorite place to eat when we're in Manhattan. You can always count on them getting the food cooked to perfection. We have always loved eating here and we will eat here again BUT we may have to wait until fall. It was sooooo cold in there we couldn't relax enough to even enjoy our meal. We complained several times, but made absolutely NO difference. I think the help was even cold; one waitress said "believe me I would turn up the temp if I could". We are here Saturday for lunch. Food was great and rolls are always our favorite part. Our server was Kherington she was wonderful. Great service. She suggested fried pickles for an appetizer and they were delicious. My grilled chicken salad was 4/5 and had plenty to take home for leftovers. My fiancé had the prime rib. His favorite thing on the menu. We were very satisfied with everything other than the size of the margarita he ordered. $5 for maybe 8 ounces of marg. And it was on special that day too! The food and the service was great. However, the only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because their call ahead seating system is GARBAGE. We called ahead for 2 people, they said it a 35-40 minute wait and to come in 5-10 minutes before their quote time. We came in 10 minutes before our alleged seat time, the hostess gave us a buzzer and told us it would only be 10 more minutes. After badgering her, 30 minutes and what seemed like almost half the people waiting got called we were finally sat. Customer service is certainly front and center at the Texas Roadhouse in Manhattan. I've eaten here several times both in the restaurant and calling in take-out orders. The food portions are always big. The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious no matter what you get. When you come in to pick up a take out order they always have offered us free drinks while we wait even if the wait was only 2 minutes. That is a little thing that doesn't cost them, but maybe 5 cents, but goes a LONG way with a customer. This is a fine example of a chain restaurant getting it right. I have yet to have a bad experience here. The only thing from a management perspective that bothers me a tiny bit is that there always seems to be a congregation of female employees standing at the front with nothing to do while one usually does all the work. Manhattan's days of having to live with LABC and Longhorn Steakhouse are over! Texas Roadhouse is where it's at. read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants in town. The food is delicious and I have never encountered an unfriendly waiter/waitress. They are usually known for their steaks and porkchops, which my friends and family love, but I always get the salmon. Their salmon is always cooked perfectly, which is usually a hit or miss at most restaurants. I also want to add their sweet rolls are AMAZING. The only minor issue I have ever encountered was my dad once got a small cut on his lip from a chipped glass. As soon as the waitress and manager found out, they apologized profusely and automatically gave my dad his meal for free, no questions asked. Excellent steaks each time we come. My favorite is the 16 oz prime rib on Friday and Saturday night. The outside is very well seasoned it's moist and tender everything it should be. While it is noisy they have a fun atmosphere and the waitresses can be seen dancing in the aisles when certain songs come on.
