I visited Texas Roadhouse in Montgomery, Alabama [7525 Eastchase Pkwy] on Friday, 06/05/26, around 9:00 PM. I came to this restaurant because I was given a Texas Roadhouse prize envelope from Sleep Inn & Suites Montgomery East I-85. The envelope indicated that it was to be opened only by a manager. Chris (Restaurant Manager) came over to the table to open the envelope. It turned out it was a $10 off coupon from a $50 bill which was so awesome. I'd like to note that Chris had such a positive, warm, and fun attitude that was super unforgettable. His disposition overall was a great highlight during this visit. My server was Ja'Marquis or "J-Rock." His hospitality was attentive and kind. He ensured that I had everything to enjoy my meal. I was a bit disappointed to learn that the restaurant was out of inventory for certain sides and meats (i.e. no prime rib, no steamed vegetables, and no baked potatoes). I ordered the following: * Full Slab Ribs * House Salad with no croutons, extra egg, and extra ranch * Cup of Chili without onions * Raspberry Lemonade The raspberry lemonade was refreshing. The house salad was crisp, fresh, and delicious, especially with the addition of the hard-boiled egg. The cup of chili was good, though, extremely lukewarm. The ribs had great flavor. However, 1/2 rack was warm and 1/2 rack was extremely cold to the touch and bite. With the knowledge of limited inventory for food items and the execution of my dinner meal, the dining experience was underwhelming. I was slightly dissatisfied with the ribs and chili. No matter what city I visit, if I see a Texas Roadhouse there is a probability that I will eat there. Yes I have had the food here several times but it is one of the few chain restaurants that is always consistent with the taste of their food. We were visiting Montgomery as part of our road trip to New Orleans. We arrived here in the evening and just wanted a decent meal. We were seated pretty quickly. Our server was so kind and sweet. She got us some drinks while we took firever to make up our minds on the food. I always get a steak, baked sweet potato with all the fixings and a salad. I have to have their salad because they put boiled egg in their salad. That is rare. The croutons always taste fresh and homemade as well. The icing on the cake is the ranch dressing which they make in house. It's so good to me. As usual my steak and potato are cooked just like I like it. A group of five of us from AUM went to Texas Roadhouse after a stressful few weeks, and it ended up being the perfect spot. Every staff member we interacted with was kind and helpful. Even one server who wasn't assigned to our table stopped by with a great drink recommendation, and others were quick to accommodate when we had an unexpected extra person join us. Our server was amazing--especially considering how busy it was on a Saturday during football season. The food and drinks were excellent, and while the atmosphere was lively with games on the TVs and fans cheering, it never felt overwhelming. We ordered food through the website to pick up at the restaurant. I ordered a sweet potato with honey butter and brown sugar and received a deflated plain sweet potato skin still in tact. The corn was so gross I literally had to spit it out. I don't even know how to describe the taste as I have never had corn that tasted like that in my life. Maybe 'sewer corn' would reflect the taste. I ordered a sprite for my daughter and didn't receive it. We ordered honey mustard as a dipping sauce and didn't receive that. Her chicken fingers were hard and she refused to eat them. My husband ordered blue cheese crumbles on his steak and they gave him blue cheese salad dressing. Our entire dinner was horrible. When we get there, on time, for our reservation but she was unable to find our reservation and said we didn't have one. We got a text that our table was ready, then she found our said reservation. BUT they seated us at two separate tables across the dang restaurant. They didn't tell us that this was going to happen when we made the reservation. We were accommodated previously, but we're now being told it's a fire hazard... Sounds like somebody messed up and doesn't wanna take ownership. What gives with all the bad reviews here?! This was my first time coming to this chain restaurant and the dinner and service was excellent! Walking in this place reminded me of a Logan's Roadhouse type restaurant. Everyone welcomed and smiled at us, we were seated immediately in a booth inside the bar. I had a $5 frozen margarita, a side Caesar salad, the 14oz ribeye cooked exactly medium rare, and I now get the hype of how good the rolls and butter are! I'll start by saying I only do take out here. The line is usually crazy for indoor seating for dinner, so I prefer to stick with take out. I went here about five times in two weeks and ordered the BBQ chicken breast and herb crusted chicken breast every time. It's a great quick and easy and healthy dinner at a good price right around $16. You simply go to their website or app and order it, and it's ready in about 20 minutes. I chose the sweet potato with honey cinnamon butter and Spanish rice. And every take out order comes with four rolls and butter! The chicken is usually cooked really well and I don't know how they do it, but those sweet potatoes are always perfect! I love it! I visited this location on Saturday 1/17/2026 which they were super busy but yet still handled things properly. my issue came in when I asked for plasticware and was denied due to the new policy which I wasn't aware because where I live, we do not have a Texas Roadhouse in the city. So I asked to speak with the manager just so I could get clarification and Kelia 1/10 came to the table so aggressive talking fast with a attitude so yeah when a customer have a question there is no need for the aggression because I simply didn't know the policy. But my server Brandi was a 10/10 loved her customer service, great personality, quickness. Really surprised at how much this place is going downhill. Waiting to get a table takes too long, when you finally get one it takes too long for the server to show up. Regular items on the menu that we order are frequently "sold out" even though it's not even late. Servers seem bored and disinterested. The server left them and came back in about 10 minutes to take our order asked about the teas and she never came back with any. After all.oat 50 minutes she came and basically threw the food on the table and left food was not hot and the smothered chicken had nothing but a couple of mushrooms on the top. The chicken was severely over cooked and cold and dry very unappealing. The server returned some time later the food still sitting untouched, she was made aware of the issue and made no effort to correct,asked how we would be paying. I asked to see a manager. She was gracious and offered to correct the issue. I can appreciate the effort but that does not excuse poor service. We sat at the bar Monday evening and Makayla and the other waitress did an amazing job. They were both extremely attentive and made sure our requests were met in a timely manner despite being slammed with customers. I've been to Texas Roadhouse in a few states and never received this level of customer service. I don't normally leave reviews but, wanted these young ladies to get recognized for a job well done. Even after Makaylas shift was obviously over she was helping out at the bar. The food was flavorful and the biscuits tasted as though they just got out the oven as well. This past weekend I ate at Texas Roadhouse for the first time. Unfortunately, it was not a great experience. While many of the staff that came to the table were nice and the hostess that greeted us was pleasant, the waitress that served our table was beyond the worst. The vibe was ok in this location (Alabama), but the service received from the waitress made the whole experience bad and left a bad taste in our mouth. My colleagues went here for lunch. The waitress did not take my drink order and walked away without asking if we wanted anything else or telling us any specials. I wanted to ask for a first time visitor what is recommended, but anything we asked for was met with attitude and unfriendliness. I am usually very understanding since I am in the hospitality industry, and customer service means a lot to me. The manager came to check on us, and we told her what happened, so hopefully she can help address it. The food was ok - one of my colleagues said her steak bites were very chewy. They were cooked at the right temp, but perhaps old. My vegetables were so hard, they tasted like they were fresh from the garden and not cooked at all. Again, I hate to sound harsh, but this was our honest opinion. I was initially excited because I hear so much about this chain and that they are always packed! The steak and shrimp were cooked perfectly and I loved the chili, a little bit of heat and seasoned perfectly. I've never eaten here before. There were 5 of us. None of us skinny boys either. So a booth, no matter how big it was, was very uncomfortable. No elbow room at all. The best thing about this place was our server! She was excellent! Very knowledgeable, quick, personable and good at what she does! So sorry I cannot remember her name! The rolls were hot and very good. I had the country fried steak and loaded potato with a house salad. The house salad was very good and fresh! They gave me plenty of thousand island as sometimes I think they weigh it in the kitchen like it's gold. The food came out timely and my country fried steak was hot and well cooked. They charge extra for the stuffed potato and I paid it. I expected a larger potato for the up charge! I was pretty happy with the presentation of my food but soon found out that eating a deflated football with gravy would've been easier. The steak was so full of gristle I only got about 4 decent bites before I completely gave up. Once again, cutting my steak with 2 full grown men on either side of me in a booth made it almost impossible to wrestle this meatless country fried steak. It just wasn't worth it. Sorry, but after eating at the Texas Roadhouse on Eastchase Pkwy for several years now, we won't be eating there again. We're from out of town but actually come into Montgomery, Alabama fairly regularly on day trips and usually have lunch somewhere while there. Over the last couple of years eating here we've noticed a steady decline in food, service, and atmosphere. The only smile we saw was the woman that greeted when entered the restaurant...and it was a forced smile at best. Before eating I went to the bathroom to wash up. It was...nasty. I washed my hands only to find there were no paper towels. Ok, no biggie. But it was just a hint of things to come. Our server never came close to a smile. She brought rolls and cinnamon butter and we actually got some silverware when I managed to catch the next time she passed by. When she brought our meals I think I aggravated when I asked for some Worcestershire sauce. By the time I got the sauce I'd eaten a fourth of my steak. The salad we ordered was almost tasteless and the oil and vinegar had little taste to it...hard to imagine vinegar being so weak tasting unless it was watered down heavily. The oil and vinegar containers themselves were sticky and leaking. The steaks, steak fries, and sweet potato were okay, nothing to get excited about...the same fare from the buffet at Golden Corral would have been as good. So, nothing great. When it came time to pay I had to get the server to take the cup of coffee off of the ticket...my wife never got it though it was ordered with the meal. The server made no attempt to apologize for the oversight...only frowned more. The entire establishment just seemed "dog-eared" in not a good way. Some places age nicely, this place hasn't. The floors feel "slick" and the furnishings "sticky". Another year it'll probably be leveled and a Jacks Hamburger sitting there. To top it off...my wife was up most of the night with some type of stomach ache. Something's just not right at Texas Roadhouse. Like I said, we won't go going back. This place is taking a dive...a hard one. You'd do better getting a bag of potato chips and a cola and it won't be nearly expensive. read more

I put my name on the waiting list via the website and had a 40 minute wait. When I arrived to the restaurant I only had to wait 10 more minutes. Although they were very short staffed, our waiter was good and our food came out quick. Overall the food was good and seasoned very well! The margarita was FILLED with ice which means it had very little liquid. I was very disappointed with how dirty the bathroom was and that they didn't have any paper towels. read more
