No matter what city I visit, if I see a Texas Roadhouse there is a probability that I will eat there. Yes I have had the food here several times but it is one of the few chain restaurants that is always consistent with the taste of their food. We were visiting Montgomery as part of our road trip to New Orleans. We arrived here in the evening and just wanted a decent meal. We were seated pretty quickly. Our server was so kind and sweet. She got us some drinks while we took firever to make up our minds on the food. I always get a steak, baked sweet potato with all the fixings and a salad. I have to have their salad because they put boiled egg in their salad. That is rare. The croutons always taste fresh and homemade as well. The icing on the cake is the ranch dressing which they make in house. It's so good to me. As usual my steak and potato are cooked just like I like it. The place was packed and noisy bit that was just fine with us. The server had a smile and conversation with great service.

A group of five of us from AUM went to Texas Roadhouse after a stressful few weeks, and it ended up being the perfect spot. Every staff member we interacted with was kind and helpful. Even one server who wasn't assigned to our table stopped by with a great drink recommendation, and others were quick to accommodate when we had an unexpected extra person join us. Our server was amazing--especially considering how busy it was on a Saturday during football season. The food and drinks were excellent, and while the atmosphere was lively with games on the TVs and fans cheering, it never felt overwhelming. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will definitely be back.

I'll start by saying I only do take out here. The line is usually crazy for indoor seating for dinner, so I prefer to stick with take out. I went here about five times in two weeks and ordered the BBQ chicken breast and herb crusted chicken breast every time. It's a great quick and easy and healthy dinner at a good price right around $16. You simply go to their website or app and order it, and it's ready in about 20 minutes. I chose the sweet potato with honey cinnamon butter and Spanish rice. And every take out order comes with four rolls and butter! The chicken is usually cooked really well and I don't know how they do it, but those sweet potatoes are always perfect! I love it! I prefer the herb chicken over the BBQ in case you were wondering.

That was the best, well-seasoned steak I have had at a restaurant in a long time. It was juicy and cooked to perfection. The sides were just as tasty. The place was packed, but bar service was top notch. I ate there twice this week. It did not let me down. Service in the dining area was also good. The restaurant was busy, but still inviting. Loved my visits this week.

Another 5 stars, this place is simply the best around. We were seated immediately, within literally 1 minute we had rolls and was greeted by the most sincere genuine waitress named Trina. This lady should be a GM,did not have to ask for one thing our entire trip. Our food was served very quickly and was exactly as ordered. The restaurant was packed yet we had a flawless experience. We will be back for sure and hopefully get the same server. This place stays super busy and now I know why,A+

The price of everything was extremely reasonable. The food itself was fairly good. The chicken and sausage were tasty. Truthfully the ribs didn't taste as good as they were hyped up. The staff made the experience worth it. I don't recall the waitresses name unfortunately but she was amazing. I was in for a business trip and asked for recommendations. She was extremely funny and personable. We were some of the last people to leave and by the end of the night she ended up chatting with us for a while.

The ribs were larger than expected with a tangy vinegar based sauce that made them delicious flavorful. The smoked sausage was just as good without being too dry. The chicken was juicy and we'll shredded, and the spicy rib wrap was well balanced with the portions that had some heat to the coleslaw due to jalapenos on it The sides were very good with the beans being the best option. The mac and cheese should have been the hero and while they were cheesy they lacked that favor you'd expected from a BBQ joint. The potato salad was decent, but nothing to write home about. Honestly the fried okra was surprisingly the second best as the sweet coleslaw underperformed Overall, the meats made the trip worth it, the vibe was amazing as it had that laid back feel and the service was great! They don't sell hard liquor so went with beer, but the selections we limited. I'd still recommend trying them out if you are ever in town. Cool spot that makes you feel like you're in the South!

By the time you get up there to pay and get your drink cup, the food is already coming up. I ordered the pull pork plate with 2 sides and a drink for $11! Can't beat that price. The fries came out hot, the pork was juicy, and the greens flavorful. Doesn't come with sauce on it but there's plenty of options on the dressing table to pick from. The only downside is the parking situation... it's insanity, with folks here in work trucks, cars, motorcycles, you name it. The line just to get in the door can be long, but the staff does a great job of getting people in & out within the time of their lunch break. Pack your patience & give them a try!

I know people throw out places like Texas, the Carolinas and Tennessee as barbecue meccas, but I stand by my claim that some of the best barbecue comes from the great state of Alabama and Fatman's is great proof of my claim. I walked in and there was a line, but it moved fast and the helpless taking our our orders were friendly. The inside is pretty much low on ambiance, but the food is the real star here. Since it was packed inside, I got my food to-go and ate at a nearby park. I had the pulled pork plate with camp stew and potato salad. Everything was absolutely wonderful. I would definitely recommend here and I give it five stars.
