Dinner time for five of us. Ordered one 12oz NY strip, one 5oz salmon, two orders of 8oz NY strip and one sirloin 8oz picked from the counter display. Sides: sweet potatoes, fresh vegetables, broccoli, ranch beans, garden salads and bread. Most of the meat was cooked to order except for one of the 8oz NY steaks. Requested medium rare and it was rare. It was corrected quickly. Bread was not baked completely with under cooked centers, replacement rolls corrected the problem pronto. Service was so polite and friendly here, from the young man who sat us, to Jaeden our server. Normally I wouldn't necessarily rate a chain restaurant but I made an exception tonight since it was my first time at any Texas Roadhouse! The rolls alone are worth a visit due to their light fluffy texture, but be aware they are just a smidgen too sweet! We had the ribs, pork chop, chicken critters basket, and I myself was content going with just a couple sides: mashed potatoes and some veggies which consisted of yummy broccoli and carrots. Not baby carrots!!! Yay! They were cooked well and still had some crunch; no soggy watery overdone vegetables here! I also had a glass of their crisp sauv blanc. Highly recommend! It was busy and bustling, and the country music playing overhead was not too loud at all. Overall a nice spirited ambiance. We were paid a visit by the manager. A nice touch. 2 Jul 26 my husband and I took our son Charlie to eat at this restaurant and was so disappointed with our the awful prime rib we got. It was raw and we had to send it back to cook mire and it had tons of fat, My son ordered the sirloin steak medium rare and his steak was great! Good thing my husband got a salad which was big and corn so that filled him up. I had the loaded sweet potato and green beans so that also filled me up. My son had mushrooms with his salad and his steak was medium rare like he ordered it. The manager came by and we showed him our prime beef full of fat so he took both meals off our bill. If we decide to go back to eat there we will not order prime beef. Service was good and so was the nice waitress we had. read more

Was told 20 minutes for table took over 45 minutes. All we got was sorry people kept coming in. So they kept sitting new party of 4's instead of our party of 7. Let's start with the bad ... I had the 12 oz FY Worth Ribeye, pink inside. It wasn't overcooked, but it was VERY grisly, hard to chew. Left 25% of the steak in the plate after spitting out the grisly parts (meaning I actually got an 8 oz steak). Disappointing. And I know what a good ribeye should be like. This definitely wasn't it! I would never order this again. My daughter had the ribs. The sauce was good, but it didn't make up that the meat was just sort of dry? like it had been overcooked or sitting around a while? I hesitate to give it a review because they're ALWAYS busy with a waiting list. I prefer takeout with their separate window outside for pickup. I ordered the Chicken Fried Sirloin, and it was absolutely the WORST chicken fried steak I've ever had in my life, and I'm in my mid 60's, so that's a lot of chicken fried steak. It was way over cooked, or fried. A very thin slice of steak, maybe a 1/4 inch thick, of meat, fried to a pulverized piece of thin leather, in batter and covered with white gravy. The food was AMAZING - mashed potatoes with green chili and the sirloin could not be beat (even compares to some of the high-end restaurants (Elway's, Shanahan's). 2 Nov 23 - my husband and I had dinner at this restaurant which is our favorite Texas Roadhouse in town. Cait our waitress was outstanding and was taking care of a huge table next to us. We were seated on the booth next to that big group. We had a coupon for potato skins and ordered strawberry lemonades. Our potato skins were full of bacon, melted cheese and came with a delicious ranch dressing. We could not eat them all even though they were so tasty we brought the rest home. Cait kept our drinks refilled and took our order. I got the 12 oz prime rib with rice and veggies and my husband had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and corn. My prime rib was the best I have had in the Springs, was thick, juicy and was cooked perfect. My husband also enjoyed his chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, corn and our meals were so big that we could not finish them. Cait brought us boxes to take our leftovers home. Just poor all around. Pork chops were tough and dry. The broccoli was tough and looked like it had come out of the trash can. It had the limp off green color instead of the vibrant green. The sweet potato was so over done it was black and I wouldn't be surprised if it was held over from yesterday and rewarmed. This was a plesant experience. We came here for a fundraiser for the fallen deputy and usually come to events such as this. This place was very busy for just this reason. We got a wait time of 1:30min for a party of 7 and because it was for a good cause we waited. I can tell you that if you are nice to the hostess, are not rude and or nagging every 5 minutes you'll likely get seated much faster then the wait time privided. We were seated in probably 45 min but in this 45 min many people huffed and puffed. The food was great. I had a 14oz ribeye which was cooked to my liking. We had a onion blossom thing for the table, along with drinks. The initial orders came out slow and my friend's chocolate milk and the bread they provide almost took 20 min. I am going to attribute it to the business of the restaurant. Everything else came out reasonably fast. Overall been here before, will be back again. One suggestion to people is to skip the ribs as they are not very good in my opinion. read more

We've gone to this popular location for years and yet the best review I can come up with is passable. The service is exceptional, young and friendly servers doing their best to make customers feel welcome and taken care of. From there the experience goes off the tracks. The food is just not very good. Consistently the "fall off the bone" ribs are dry and chewy. Avoid the chicken fried steak at all costs, it must be sourced from a shoe repair store. The steaks are hit and miss. Sometimes cooked to order other times over cooked. My sense is the kitchen crew is young and inexperienced with high turnover. You can see that the operator has placed very specific food prep instructions on the kitchen walls for the staff to follow. That's telling. Great service and bad food, a good experience it does not make. Sort of like a propeller on a crashing plane, just hastens the crash. read more

Nothing here is bad. It's simple steak food. I felt wild today so i got the filet & shrimp with a baked potato and a salad. The blue crush lemonade was the perfect amount of blue and tart without being too sour OR too sweet. The steak was cooked to perfection! Lisa is a very friendly and attentive server. Stopped by on our way back home, this location is trash. I eat Roadhouse all over the nation (I travel for work). This one has to be the worst I've ever seen. We ordered the tater skins appetizer, then were planning on ordering dinner. After seeing the tater skins, I looked around at other peoples food, it all looked pathetic. Our tater skins were extremely burned and had no flavor (other than burned). I know it's hard to find good help, but just close it down until you can. You're just losing customers at this point.
