Went here once for my nephews birthday. Because there aren't a lot of new and exciting restaurants in the area, when one opens its like a madhouse!! We had a reservation, so I figured that the wait wouldn't be long. The waiting area was COMPLETELY PACKED!! You could barely move!! Although we had a reservation, we still dat in the crowded lobby and waited for over an hour!! It's my dad birthday and we decided to go out for dinner to Texas Roadhouse in White Marsh; it was eight of us. When I say the service was TERRIBLE! It was fucking TERRIBLE!!! The bread wasn't done, we kept returning it and then they would bring a new batch!!!! Still not done! He was rude, the food was wrong (all of it) They ran out of potatoes in the whole place, so people that order a potatoes had to order something else! But no one told us until our entree came out! I have been to this place five times, FIVE times, and not once was my steak cooked correctly. Then again I am very picky, I prefer it to be cooked without blood dripping from it. Final time the manager informed me that I should order a steak without a bone because 'you can't cook bones' and obviously the blood pouring out of my steak is my fault because none of the other customers were complaining. Would give this place a 1 star, but the people are very nice, so I'll add the extra star. The last time I went I got ribs, a Cesar salad, and steak fries. We had a cactus blossom as an appetizer. The inside was ok, but it was overdone and crispy, especially the bottom. My ribs were really fatty and came with barely any BBQ sauce. The steak fries were fine- I was glad I got more fries than normal. The salad was fine except the fact that the croutons were burnt. This place always seems to be PACKED and have a long wait, but the times I have been it's very good. This last time was exceptional, our server Mike was outstanding, and the food was flawless. I ordered a hand picked 16oz ribeye steak with a sidekick of shrimp, with mushrooms and onions on top and seasoned rice and a salad. Everything came out perfect and very quick. Everyone working that night were exceptionally friendly and accommodating especially our server. Will absolutely be going back. I am NOT a fan of chains for the most part. However when in college used to go here quite a bit and recently had a hankering for their garden salad and chicken tenders. This location was BUSY at 5:45. I am not one to usually eat this early but glad we got there when we did. Only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table for 2. You cannot beat the warm bread and butter they start you off with. And just like I remembered the garden salad and chicken critters hit the spot! I've been to a Texas Roadhouse before and had great service, but this one in White Marsh was dreadful! First, it took us between an hour and an hour and a half to get our food. We asked the bartender 3 times to see if we could get a football game on the TV since we were at the bar and there was only football and NBA sports news on. We were told each time yes no problem, but they never even tried to turn football on. We also had several occasions where we had empty glasses with no service and the bar wasn't even that packed. We dine here often, and always come out happy, full, and with a to go box lol. The portions are huge, and the staff is awesome- they are really attentive and always mindful of our needs! I almost always get the medium rare ribeye, bowl of chili and green beans. oh, almost forgot their super fluffy delicious rolls- which keep coming and we keep eating those smothered with the cinnamon butter...yummy! This place is officially one of me and my wife's two favorite restaurants to eat at now! Very friendly, clean, and great service. Any time that your food is messed up they bring you out another right away. Like that the managers walk around and ask how you're visit is as well. Only thing I don't like is the noise level of the country music so we always request a both in the bar area, the speakers are not in bar area so quite. My wife loves there big mixed drinks, good price and you get a lot. Have almost tried everything on their menu and have never ate anything I did not like. The best dinner rolls I've ever had. Really there is no need for an appetizer with eating rolls and peanuts but we get the rattlesnake bites every time! Best Tex Mex food around!! read more

I had been a fan of Texas Roadhouse when they only had location in Hagerstown and Pasadena, locations in Maryland. Hagerstown was always on my list when visited that area. Now, with them close to home it is great! Rattlesnake bites are great starters. Rolls are warm and tender, melt in my mouth. Recently had salmon and it was fantastic. The food is amazing and the prices are very reasonable but the service during takeout is pretty crappy. The orders are often wrong and they never pick up the phone close to the time they close. So while they're still open and I'd like to call in an order to pick up they let the phone ring so they don't have to take the order. Been there three times now. We like it better than Outback. Steaks are more consistent. We had to wait the first time, but called ahead the second time and got right in. I had prime rib and my guy had strip steak. Both were very good. Salads and fries were good but my baked potato was just lukewarm. Not worth the price to get it loaded. My absolute favorite restaurant. I got the 6oz sirloin (medium) and it was cooked with perfection. If you were to get a Big Mac at McDonalds, it would be $7. The sirloin was $10.00 including 2 sides. Great Texas style restaurant, me and my family went there for my birthday, food took 35 minutes to come out and missed cactus blossom and the chilli, two fucking orders (Ines a side) missed. Fall off the bone ribs tasted bad. Worlds famous my ass. And also the bottom of cactus blossom felt a little doughy at the bottom. Rib eye was pretty good but I might come here again. I tried this location a second time within 6 months because I have had great experiences at other Texas Roadhouses due to my extensive business travel. The second time was not a charm. My Filet came out and it looked burnt and about 4 oz. of meat. This is very uncommon as I said I eat at TRH a lot. Sent the steak back for a real filet. Went to check out and they racked on a drink I never had. Sat and waited for 10 minutes for mgr to approve. Mgr never came to approve but her keys and swipe card were given to bartender to finally complete my transaction. Be aware of this location as repeat experiences (with the steak) are a warning sign. I have to start off by saying that our service was excellent. I wish I could say the same about the food. We have been waiting to try this place for a while but it is always so crowded. I don't know why people love it so much. For a steak house it is subpar. We ordered ribeyes that looked like they were beaten with a tenderizer. No ribeye should be a half an inch thick. Worst experience ever.....went there with my family that included a young child. The service was eh..but what really made this restaurant a 1 star was the food and customer service after the problems were stated. My son's food was suppose to come out early, so I could feed him prior to our dinner arriving. His food not only came out late, but cold! It was grilled chicken strips and loaded mash potatoes (not a complicated order at all). Literally right then the table's food came and my son started crying when his food was taken away (just plain sad). I sat there waiting to eat my food, because no mother worth a grain of salt can put food in her mouth knowing your child is hungry. When his food had returned it was obviously just stuck in the microwave and returned. I then asked for it fresh, as I am not here to pay for reheated food. All around there were mistakes and cold food around the table. The manager's attempt to make this right was poor. They only took off a 5 dollar kid's meal and gave a coupon for next time. I won't be coming back, maybe I'll try the new one in Hunt Valley when it's open.
