Great steaks, for a place that's got a few bras on the wall. Weird vibe on a Wednesday, mid-day, but, hey, it's the Canton Square.

We came on a Sunday evening and our experience was just fine, though I can see why some other people may not have had the greatest experiences here. We sat outside on their side walk seating-- they had tv's outside which were great for viewing the game. I went inside to use the bathroom, and the inside was completely empty, even the bar area, and it appeared that the one server was working indoor and out---- if so, he did an amazing job and was extremely attentive. I got the grilled bbq chicken entree with 2 sides which was pretty good and everyone else enjoyed their food (cheesesteak and wings) I would come again to enjoy the outside vibes on another beautiful day. read more

Absolutely loved my visit here! Stopped in after work for a ribeye and a Guinness, and both were spot on. The steak came out just how I ordered it, and the Guinness was poured perfectly. I didn't have to flag anyone down--the staff were super friendly and attentive the whole time. As someone who goes to Texas Roadhouse every Sunday, I can honestly say the ribeye here was just as good! I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in the area. Highly recommend! Doug read more

I was coming down off of a Ravens win and wasn't ready to head back in juts yet. If I'm being honest, I needed to feed my liquor before calling it a night. Cowboy saloon had the best set up for what my friends and I had in mind so we plopped down in front of one the tvs outside after checking in with the bartender/server. The tvs outside was clutch. The outdoor area is definitely great on a beautiful day. I ordered the cheesesteak which was pretty tasty. My fries were cold but I was brought new ones very quickly. Overall, not bad. I felt for the server who was bartending and servicing the whole place. He definitely did his best, but help was needed. The food is pretty good and so is the ambience. But the service was terrible on this particular day (09/14/2025 2:04 pm). The bartenders (one in particular) seemed like she wasn't interested in working. Brooke was ok but the other one who originally took our order never checked on us, never offered a refill on our bottomless beverages, or anything. We stopped by on our way back from NYC, the experience was one for the books! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by staff and decided to sit at the bar. We opted for appetizers and were well pleased, I had the white chicken chilli, it was super creamy, cheesy and well seasoned!! I've never tasted anything remotely close to this, it really hit the spot and was so comforting. My boyfriend went for the crab chowder and was equally as pleased with his dish, his only regret was getting a cup instead of a bowl!! I came to Cowboy Row on Sunday for brunch with some family for my cousins birthday. Since it was nice/hot out we decided to eat outside. We got there around 11 and there was no wait. After picking a table, we got menus, and ordered bottomless mimosas and Bloody Mary's. Drinks: I drank the mimosas, which were delish and saw them fresh squeezing OJ (wasn't expecting that) and my cousin drank the Bloody Mary's, which she said were good as well. Our waitress was werkinggg it (she had multiple tables) and always offered refills before we had to ask. Food: For food we decided on 2 orders of pancakes, a western skillet and a steak skillet. All of the food was great! I was shocked at the amount of flavor in the skillet itself - the chef is not afraid of seasoning, thats for sure (some might find it on the "salty-er" side but we all enjoyed it). I personally wished the potatoes were crispy and hot, however my cousin loveedd them ‍, which is why I started with "personally" lol. The pancakes were HUGEE and delishhhh! Overall, I was verrryyy pleased with our choices. Just - 1 star for the okay potatoes and delay with water refills close to the end. I stopped here at 1pm on a Saturday morning. The server was friendly.The food was edible but not great. The home fries tasted a bit old and soggy like they were frozen before. The eggs were a bit runny but that is just a preference. My biggest pet peeve was the cleanliness. The menus and table condiments had sticky food all over them and there were lots of crumbs and cobwebs. If I did return to this restaurant it would only be for drinks. read more

We checked out Cowboy Row for brunch and enjoyed the overall experience! We sat outside on their little deck setup and it was great. We chose to do bottomless since it was cheaper than getting 2 drinks. I'd probably choose to get other drinks next time since the bottomless were weak and sometimes it took tracking down your server to get more. For food, I had the shrimp and grits which were great! They came with bacon wrapped shrimp and the grits had some toppings and were nice and flavorful. The food is reasonably priced and everything looked great. We thought maybe it was just a bad day, so we gave it another chance for brunch today. It's going to be the last time we go here - I had to spit out my food no less than three times - twice because there were massive eggshells in my food and once because the meat I was served was really gross, very fatty, bits of the cut that shouldn't be served on a plate to anyone. I have been to Cowboy Row twice now for lunch/brunch, and they are an amazing brunch spot on Canton square, especially since they offer brunch every day of the week (Great for those of us who don't have M-F 9-5 schedules). My favorite has been the Cowboy Burger - a beef burger on an English muffin with bacon, egg, onion rings, lettuce and tomato. I went again the following week with my boyfriend and got the Cowboy in the Hole (Texas toast with fried egg in the middle, with brisket and veggies on top) and the steak skillet which was smothered in gruyere. I appreciated that the home fries weren't the generic fried potato squares at most places, but clearly pan fried with fresh peppers and seasoned well! The best part about brunch is the bottomless drinks for $15, you can mix and match mimosas, bloody Marys, and their signature drink called cowboy juice, which is a combination of multiple types of rum, black raspberry liqueur and orange juice. At $9 for a cocktail though, it's totally worth it to do bottomless (the size of the bottomless drinks are the same as if you order off the cocktail menu). Although I love that the cocktails have fun names like "basic bitch" and "extra AF". Every drink I've gotten here has been delicious and strong! This place just opened last month and is already a great addition to the Square and overall to brunch spots in the city! Do be aware though that they don't start their non-brunch menu until 2, although if you want regular lunch fare they do have a few salads, burgers and chicken sandwich on the brunch menu. read more

Went here with friends mid morning on a Monday. There was only one server. I asked if the wings were safe for me to eat since i have a dairy allergy and she said yes and was very dismissive of my concern. 4 wings in and my stomach immediately started turning. I'm still dealing with diarrhea 5 days of later (common for my GI when this happens.) She refused to split our groups check, over charged our group and gave us attitude when we confronted her about. We sat at the bar for food and beer on what appeared to be the end of a busy Sunday brunch shift. The bartender, Dana, explained it had been an insanely crazy shift and that wait times may be a little long for food and such. All that aside, she was incredibly nice and attentive. Our food came out fairly promptly, and was pretty great. The fries were delicious, as was the chowder. Service was rather slow and inattentive on a not-so-busy night. I saw lovely pictures of the ribeye on Instagram so I always planned on getting it. It was advertised as a 20oz cut and came out looking very appetizing with a solid cut and nice fat marbling. I also gave in and got the extra herb butter. I ordered it to be cooked medium-rare and it came out closer to medium. The fries were crispy and the corn was pretty good. Love this spot! Went on Easter Sunday and there was no wait! We seated ourselves! Our waitress was sweet and attentive, but near the middle she left and we were handed off to another waitress who just didn't keep the up with us how we liked. Even still the food was EVERYTHING!!!!! I got the New York Strip with sautéed onions, and a side of collard greens (veggie of the day) and loaded mash potatoes! It was heaven! I got a cocktail called EXTRA AF it was very strong, had to have them remake it, the second round was perfect though. Honestly was not expecting the food to be that good but they introduced their brunch menu so I wanted to give it a shot. I tried the shrimp skillet and it was delicious. We also tried the sweat bread which is like Hawaiian bread or like the bread from Texas Roadhouse. My boyfriend got the cowboy in a hole, also pretty good. I'm so glad we stubbled upon this restaurant. Their menu is organized and not overwhelming. We missed brunch, but came at the turn of the menus, so we had dinner. The staff was friendly and timely. They truly work as a team, which is pleasant to see. We were taken care of by Vic. She was very attentive and even made sure that they kitchen knew my food had to be prepared well since I'm pregnant. Going that extra mile! I was delighted to see that they serve fried pickles! Not too many places prepare those and even less do 'em right! They're the perfect thickness and the batter is on point. The only thing I didn't like is the type of pickle they use. They're the sweet better pickles and that's just gross (to me). We ate the whole basket, though LOL They have a diverse menu and offer some familiar staples that would make you feel better about trying something new (if you're a picky water like myself). I'd say they're known for their Texas-style BBQ selections. This establishment had very poor service. It was around 3 on a Saturday when I sat down and only after checking with the bar and server twice was I able to finally get my food at 4:20. They forgot my coffee so I had to walk to a coffee shop around the corner. They were severely under staffed so our server was in fact not a server just a friend helping out. The manager only finally came in around 5 to help out the staff that had very little hands. Our waiter (who was only helping a friend) was in fact more helpful kind than the actual workers. It's a nice place, but I'm very disappointed in the way staff members handled an emergency situation tonight. A woman was heavily intoxicated and a man attempted to carry her away as she gripped the bar edge to keep from being carried. We blocked his exit and got her home safely. A nice visual of a space. Didn't get the drinks because the bartender treated me like I had a disease as I was wearing a mask and they were not while Baltimore city has an indoor mask mandate. I approached the bartender to order a beverage with my mask on while they did not have one on. As I approached, they backed up. I projected my voice more, they backed up even more and made a face and said that they couldn't hear me again. I said well I can't take my mask off and they stated well you have to speak up, I did and they backed up as I spoke and made a face again so I walked away and said I don't need anything then. Not what I expected as far as the food is concerned, I got the half a rack,of rack baby back ribs, grill corn and loaded baked potato. The ribs was over cooked (dry )barbecue sauce,taste cheap. The ribs also taste as if they were boiled ,not grilled. The corn on the cob had a taste that I couldn't understand and the kernels was very small, it was more cob than corn. The baked potato was undercooked. This was a loaded baked potato with very little toppings. I do not recommend this restaurant it wasn't worth my hard earned money. read more
