This was my last night out here in St. Charles and we went to have some BBQ. I remember going to this same chain in El Paso, Texas, but that was a while back! Well, I have to say, this was a great experience, because I sampled the ribs, sampled the prime rib, and I had the Kansas City Strip, which was excellent! Even though this is not a local secret place to get BBQ, it did the job well! They make these amazing home made rolls with honey butter that are to die for and they just melt in your mouth. Even though I eat pretty healthy most days of the week, I could not pass up these buns/rolls, because they were excellent. Good job Texas Roadhouse, you make very tasty food. There is a reason TR is $1 more per entree than lesser chains. The food is out of this world. It is obvious that everything is fresh and scratch-made. This location also boasts a tremendous staff focused on friendly, attentive service. It's well known for steak.... But I know they NEVER cook it right. The menu says medium well is pink, ever time I get medium well it's RED and well done is always charred. I have been about 10 times and that is the story every time! Sweet potato and salad are really yummy. read more

Used to dine here all the time. Haven't been in a while. Met some friends there on Monday. Food was ok. Service was ok. All used to be better. Worst part was that we were seated immediately outside the bathrooms (even though we arrived early and most of the restaurant was empty.) First smell to greet me as I walked past the wait station was urine. I have a pretty sensitive nose and didn't want to make a fuss. As we were seated, I smelled sewage. I don't just mean the bathrooms but a smell like an overflow of sewage had just been cleaned up. Again, I hoped the smell would pass as I didn't want to make a fuss in front of friends. As we were leaving, the couple we were with said the smell was bad enough to make her gag. My husband revealed he had also smelled it. None of us will be dining there again. read more

Need to be in right mood to handle the atmosphere. Staff and food quality is highly rated. They pack the patrons in and the staff to dinning guest ratio is greater than most competitors. I really debated making this review but hopefully someone in the company sees this and cares enough to make some changes. The way this place is ran is so unprofessional. I was not greeted at the door because everyone at the hostess counter was on their cell phones. There was no line. Was just ignored until I said excuse me to get their attention. Was seated in a separate part of the restaurant that was sort of blocked off from the rear. It was all people of color only with the exception of other customers significant others. There was a few couples that were sat after us that were also interracial. While headed to the restroom only one other person with dark skin was sat some where else. Yet they were with 12 other people that were not dark skinned. Our waiter Logan only came to get our order. Then to drop off food and then the check. Considering there was only one other table he was looking after I'd say the service was awful. Never once was offered a refil. And when I asked for the bbq sauce from a hostess because Logan forgot to bring it she starred at me for a moment as if I were an idiot asking her to do a tedious task. I was not at all rude to any of the staff and was very respectful with how I asked for things especially. They just made me feel like I should not have been there at all and that I was only annoying them. read more

Horrible Horrible Horrible service! From the beginning I was ignored when I arrived with my family of 6. The teenage girls were too busy talking to a male. Finally when they acknowledged me with a look on their face you expect to see in the Deep South in the 50s. My family was not welcomed and they all seemed annoyed we were there. I let them know it was my son's 18 th birthday and the hostess said,"We will make sure to embarrass him real good". I thought ok great maybe the feeling I had was wrong. NOPE we heard them sing to two other customers and never once did the server acknowledge my son's birthday. Such a huge disappointing in celebrating a milestone. At the other locations we have always been welcomed and treated kindly. I think this location need a lesson in RESPECT of all their customers. This is by far my favorite place to get a steak. they have amazing rolls and the cinamon butter is to die for. I love the all you can eat free peanuts, but i wouldnt come here if you are allergic to them b/c they are all over the floor. my only complaint would be that when they get REALLY busy its not even worth showing up b/c it can get kinda chaotic. read more

We enjoy eating at Texas RH and do so about once a month. Weds are when we like to go because of their specials. Can't beat a big steak for $9.99. We've always experienced good service, and if there's ever been an issue - they address it and take care of things. I like the atmosphere - even though it's loud. Went to Texas roadhouse last night to use a gift card. It was good. The wife had her usual ribs no sauce and I tried something different. Normally, I get a big filet but last night I went with the filet and shrimp combo. The grilled shrimp were very good, nicely seasoned with great flavor. We will be back. read more

My Wife and I were out for a good steak dinner so we stopped at the Texas Steak House in O'Fallon. We each order a drink with our smothered steak. We had some bread, our appetizer arrived and we eat our salad. At some point we realized that guest who arrived after we had were already eating their meal. It seemed like at least thirty minutes. The waitress stopped by and said she was going to go and check on our meal. She came back and said it was on the way. Fifteen minutes later it did arrive. We were asked if we needed anything else, my wife replied "we could use our drinks please" . Surprise, surprise the steak wasn't medium well as we had requested.More like well done and dry. Oh, did I say I ordered a smothered steak (mushrooms and onions) on my steak, Didn't get any, the waitress came back and asked how things were, I asked her if i could get my mushrooms and onions That I had ordered. The waitress came back and said I was in luck they were making a fresh batch, implying that was why I didn't get them with my steak. Wow i wasn't wearing a stupid mask, just admit the kitchen screwed up the order and left them off. Well they did show up, AFTER I was done eating my steak, shame because the dry steak could have used the toppings to moisten it up a little. I won't even go into how long it took to get the second beer I requested, but at one point the waitress came to the table and said proudly that she wasn't forgetting my beer this time?? Wouldn't it have been easier to just go get the beer and bring it to the table?. Although i should have complained, I chose not to, because I didn't want to create a seen, maybe I should have. Horrible food, or should say salt. The steak and vegetables has incredible amount of salt. Have you ever swallowed salt water. If you like the taste you will enjoy the food. My wife and I have visited this location a few times, however thanks to the Co- Partner and his lack of respect for customer time, we will no longer eat here. After phoning a takeout order at 6:55pm and being told "it will be ready in 15-20 minutes" my wife and i ARRIVED there at 7:20pm.....25 minutes later. I asked the hostess if my order was ready and she checked and replied "it maybe a few more minutes but I will go to the kitchen and check". She returned and said "yours is next and will be ready soon". I reminded her of when my order was taken and said "no thanks" and left. I phoned the manager from my vehicle and he identified himself as "Giles". No first or last name identified even when asked to repeat. I told him of the issue I had in attempting to pick up my order. He offered NO APOLOGY, but instead said "you misunderstood what she said and maybe there was some miscommunication" in addition to "well maybe 5 minutes off from what she told you". He then said twice "it's ready now". I told him I was not coming back inside and will simply contact the corporate office. He didn't care because he responded "that's fine because it's busy, what can I say? Thank you". Well.....there is no true Texas courtesy exemplified here by this co-partner of an establishment bearing a state name synonymous with friendliness and respect toward individuals and their time. My family and I are natives of the state of Texas and now reside within a short driving distance of this O'Fallon,MO location, but do not recommend it. Our choice of meal following this poor experience took us to a more personable eating experience, Chik- Fil- A. There is a large amount of "customer service 101" needed by the Co-Partner "Giles" of the Texas Roadhouse in O'fallon, MO. read more

We've always had good to great meals here. When my wife is craving a good steak, we come here. The sidekick of ribs is always a great bonus. Margaritas are usually very good and service is pretty quick and accurate. If there's ever a problem, the manager will be out and go over it with you. Just left TR very disappointed. Our server Jamie was very rude to us from the second we ordered our drinks. I ordered water. Not bc I'm cheap but bc I actually always drink water. He was very friendly and talkative to the couple behind us but very rude towards my husband and I. We didn't have a free appetizer or a coupon or anything. We ordered a blooming onion, and I got an 8 oz sirloin and shrimp. Med rare... My husband got an 11 oz med rare... His came out borderline medium so he was ok with his. Mine was well done. We told a girl and patiently waited. He took my steak and sd they were firing a new one. Fine. No problem. That happens. I ate my salad and my green beans. No biggie. Then it was brought out again. Borderline med well... I again was like... Well it's not med rare... He came over didn't apologize he just kinda stood there and I sd it's fine. I don't want to wait for another steak to come out my husband is already done and has been done for a while. I'll just let it go. The server just walked away. My husband asked for boxes. We waited a long time for that. Thought maybe he was comping my shrimp add on or something. No he brought out our whole bill. Didn't apologize or say anything really. I think that infuriated me more than anything is that he didn't even care. And he catered to the people behind us. Cheerfully brought them boxes and a bag. We didn't even get a bag. Then he set a pen down and walked away... The whole experience was bad. We live right here in Ofallon and will now go to the St. Charles location. I always tip minimum 20%. But the fact he could care less about us from the second I ordered a water til the end is why I tipped 0... I have never done that. And this is my first yelp review.
