Texas Roadhouse is one of our favorite chain restaurants. The food quality, portion size and service is consistently good and their menu has something for pretty much any taste. Our grandson says their cheeseburger is one of his favorites. It is always lively and a bit on the loud side, but not so loud that you can't have a good conversation. Everyone enjoyed their meals, except the single pork chop. It was seasoned well and usually juicy, but tonight it was on the dry side . Otherwise, the steaks were cooked to each person's liking, the salads were fresh and so was the bread. We also enjoyed the Rattlesnake Bites (jalapeño poppers) appetizer. After finishing a fun Stick and Puck session at the nearby RecPlex in St. Peters, we decided to head over to Texas Roadhouse for dinner, and it turned out to be the perfect way to wrap up the evening. My wife checked in online while we were still at the rink, and just as we pulled into the parking lot, she received the text letting us know our table was ready. The timing couldn't have been better. We walked in and were seated immediately, which is always such a great start, especially after an active afternoon. As soon as we settled in, we were greeted with their famous warm bread, which never disappoints. Country music fills the room, the energy is upbeat, and the big-screen TVs keep the atmosphere buzzing. With March Madness in full swing, the whole place had that exciting basketball buzz in the air, making the dining experience even more fun. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Our server, Joy, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and quick to take our order. She made us feel well taken care of the entire time. For my meal, I went with the Country Fried Chicken, one of my favorites, and asked for the brown gravy on the side. It was absolutely delicious. The crispiness was on another level, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. For my sides, I chose the bowl of chili and the buttered corn, both of which were flavorful and satisfying. My wife ordered the beef kabob served over a bed of rice, and she loved every bite. The seasoning, the tenderness, the portion, everything hit the mark. Our boys were just as happy with their meals. Our older son ordered the herb‑crusted chicken, which he enjoyed, and our younger one went with the classic cheeseburger and steak fries. Both meals were a hit, and the portions were generous enough that we even had some leftovers to take home. Overall, this visit to Texas Roadhouse was another fantastic experience for our family. Came here on a Friday and joined the online waiting list so I was seated right when I showed up. It was pretty busy so I'd recommend joining the online waitlist if you're coming on a busy night. Our server was super nice and the bread comes out so quick and tasty as always. Me and my friend both got 6oz sirloins and the sides. Delicious as always and both cooked to our preferences. The one thing I hate and have hated for the 20 years plus that I've been going there is when the person seating me turns around and asks me if I have been there before. I feel completely unrecognized because I go there so often. I'm asked this every single time. If I go to another restaurant that often, they know me, the hostesses and the waitresses know me, and I don't go through feeling unrecognized. Change your question. Our first visit to this new location. It's a larger spot but otherwise has the same lodge/log cabin feel. TR offers a varied meat, chicken, seafood, salad menu but it's known as a steak place. The large (12oz., 14oz., and 16 oz.) steaks offer options to diners. For example, we two split the 12oz. ribeye and--with the two included sides and table rolls--were sufficiently satisfied. New location is much larger and the added bonus of the extra parking is quite nice. I love that now you have to ask for peanuts and you get a bag. Went to this location for a family members birthday after experiencing a horrible time at another establishment. The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to ensure our dinner experience was top tier. The restaurant is big and spacious with plenty of seating. Normally the dinner rush is never a good time to visit but we got off work early and made a run for it. It was happy hour so we took advantage of the margarita special and order mango one with a extra shot of Patron, delicious! Next we went with their version of the blooming onion and was another delicious treat. The onion took us a few minutes to handle before we ordered our courses. We got lucky and arrived to catch the early bird special and we're also nicely discounted. TR had plenty of seating and can handle large groups and tables were serviced quickly. Tried Texas Roadhouse for our family Christmas Eve dinner. We called ahead and were able to be seated fairly quickly. Our order came out at a reasonable time and the food was great. Big enough portions and cooked thoroughly. The only issue we had was there was no where to park. My husband and I circled the parking lot twice until he decided to park at the stores next door. It was food under the table all on the floor. The salad was hot. So much butter in the corn it's unbelievable. The employees are not very helpful. But they are professional should you capture they attention. I give them the one star that they don't deserve. This was sad and let's point out this is a new location. Service should have simply been better. I won't return. I invite the cooks to take food training. Nothing here is up to the Missouri food code. The food inspector needs to relook at this location. We arrived and there was a little mixup with the waitlist seating, The people up front were a little standoffish and didn't seem to really care, but it all got figured out. Sat down our waiter was awesome Brendon he was so helpful in suggesting items and was very nice. I wish more places had waiters like him. The food was delivered and looked great. I will definitely come back if for the service alone and the rolls. I will be looking to sit in Brendon's section I love great service. And you have food that taste good that helps to. I usually like TX Road House, so I really hate to give my local place a low rating here but not much has been good here the last two times we ate here. Lets start with their dinner Bread (their pride and joy) came out either too done or too doughy or something (not good)! Plus my chili was luke warm at best and pretty runny (not tasty). My boneless wings tasted pretty good ao that was nice!!! My kid's mac and chz dish was super bland and he used to really like their bread and mac and chz but now he could really pass on them at this location at least. We got on the waitlist ahead of time and we arrived about 5 minutes after we were supposed to for our quoted time. We were able to check in from the parking lot which was nice. Once we checked in our table was ready within 5 minutes. The overall service from the hostess and the server was excellent. Everyone was friendly and patient as it took us some time to figure out what we wanted. We came with 4 people and 4 coupons thinking we would only be able to use 1. Without even asking, our server offered to ring us all up separately so we could use all 4. The server went above and beyond. The food was delicious as usual and the steaks were cooked perfect. They moved. The new parking lot is bigger. I think the dining room is the same size. They added a drive-thru pickup. If you were brought into the new location blindfolded, you might not be able to tell the difference unless you looked out a window or noticed the furnishings had less wear. There's no Home Depot to use for overflow parking now and they seem to get busier earlier. The Lowe's next door is on the other side of a fence and a ditch. Otherwise the previous review stands. Same service, same food, same decor. Still no loose peanuts. Stupid pandemic. The calorie info on the bagged peanuts is a buzzkill and I feel obligated to eat the whole bag to avoid waste when I just want a handful. However my dad was excited to go to this restaurant for his birthday after driving by multiple times as it was being built. The parking lot is huge but was full on a Friday night. We had called ahead to get on the waitlist but ended up waiting longer than they anticipated. Note: you can join the waitlist online or on their app but only for parties 6 or less. We had 9 people so we had to call. It was very busy, people were waiting outside and in a waiting room inside. Bags of peanuts available for anyone who wants one while they wait. Also chalkboard and crayons/activity pages in the wait room. The country music blaring outside was super loud and the roar of the crowd inside was so loud it was very difficult to have a conversation. They sat us in a booth that probably would have fit 7 comfortably but there were 9 of us. I am not a fan of the food here as my choices are limited but my dad enjoyed his meal so that's all that mattered. Staff was very friendly we had some issues with some of the food taking too long to come out. Understandable as they were extremely busy and this is a new location. They did give us 10% off the bill which was appreciated. I will never understand the appeal of these restaurants. The new location just opened on Mexico Rd. We used the 'Join The Waitlist' on the app, which was very convenient. The wait was approximately 15 minutes, which was within the estimated wait time provided. Employees from greeters, hosts, runners, and our waitress were pleasant, friendly, and very communicative. Service was quick from time we were seated until we received our order, and we were checked on frequently. We ordered a Cactus Blossom, salads (Ceasar and House), Filets (medium-rare), and fries. The food was prepared as requested with zero issues. Everything was fresh, and it tasted great! The ambiance was as you would expect for Texas Roadhouse. Louder than average, but there were very few empty tables, so it's to be expected. The good news is that we could still have a conversation as the music wasn't excessively loud. All in all a great experience at the new location! I always love Texas Roadhouse, this location in particular. Even though the lot is bad, the service is always wonderful! I love getting a beer with a baked potato and chili. The rest of my family always gets the 6oz sirloin, but I'm n it the biggest steak person. That being said, their chili is SO GOOD! It's been a couple of years, so I wanted to add an update. This is still my favorite steak place (yes, even though its a chain) and my favorite location within the chain. The ribeyes and special seasoning are my favorite meal around. I love that it is grilled and always perfectly medium. The staff were all friendly, helpful and just seemed like they enjoyed being there. Our server kept all of our drinks filled, rolls filled and check in a few times to make sure all was well and the steaks were cooked well. Hubby ordered the chicken tenders and raved about them. We had a Christmas gift card for Texas Roadhouse so we decided to use it tonight. We tried to get here early before the waitlist was long. When we checked in the wait was only 20 minutes which was much less than we expected. There isn't room to wait inside due to the restaurant using the breezeway now (behind the curtain). It's best to wait outdoors or in your car since they text you when your table is ready. We were seated close to 20 minutes as we were told. We had a booth right behind the check in station. Our server was good and brought our drinks and bread out quickly. My husband ordered the Grilled Chicken and Ribs with baked potato and chili with onions. The potato was tender, the chili great as always, the chicken was tender but the ribs had a very crispy outside which he didn't care for. Just his personal taste. I had a very disappointing experience at Texas Roadhouse today during dinner. My daughter and I ordered Dallas Fillet, with different cooking preferences. However, when our steaks arrived, they were not cooked as we had requested. My steak was rare (I ordered medium) , and my daughter's rare steak was overcooked, warm in the middle and lacked grill marks. It appeared to have been microwaved. We spoke to our server, Stacy, who apologized and sent the steaks back. She mentioned that a manager would come to talk to us. However, after 15 minutes, there was no sign the manager. Our server checked in and discovered that the manager, Rico, had not come to see us. She spoke to him and he said he would talk to us after dropping off the food. It took 30 minutes for him to bring our food and check in with us. When the manager finally arrived, he did not apologize or acknowledge the delay. He only asked if the steaks were cooked properly, I said yes and asked for a box, I told him we had been waiting for our food for a long time (30 minutes for the recook) but he did not seem to care about our experience. Our server later checked in, and I expressed my disappointment with the lack of care from the manager. Our server went to get the manager again, and Rico came back. I expressed my disappointment with his lack of care, he acted like a food runner not a manager. I told him we had been waiting for over 1 hour to get our food, he proceeded to tell me the recook only took 7 minutes and that's why he did not think it was a big deal, and that our server probably forgot to order the recook. Even if our server had forgotten as a manager, Rico should have apologized because the food was cooked wrong in the first place. It really does not cost anything to care about your clients. Rico said he would talk to his main manager to see what he could do for us, he returned 15 minutes later with an offer to take $10 off the bill and a free entrée coupon for up to $15. I told him to take his $15 off coupon because I did not plan to go back. he said Ok, walked away saying "let me know if I can do anything else" . But truly he did not care. I was disappointed by the lack of customer service skills and care demonstrated by the manager. I understand mistakes happen, but a manager should own up to them and make sure the customer feels heard and the manager cares about their experience. It's obvious that Rico did not care at all!
