Been to this Texas Roadhouse twice in the last 2 months. Both visits were awful, they are clearly dealing with management & server issues. First visit they forgot my order after my son received his and finished his meal. Our server asked how our dinner was, I told her I didn't know since I didn't receive mine. She blamed the kitchen and said she wouldn't charge me. I said charge me? Fir what. I gave them a second chance and stopped by again this past weekend and I ordered ribs and they lost (forgot) my order and then brought me my order late and it was refrigerated cold. They were from the fridge. They apparently cook their ribs in advance and store in cooler and then reheat them when ordered. In this case, they forgot to heat up and brought them to our table cold and without our sides. The manager apologized and said they wouldn't charge me. They went and threw my cold ribs on the grill and returned them to me bite mark and all. No thanks. I think they are completely overwhelmed at this location, 0 for 2. ‍ read more

We decided to try the Texas Roadhouse in Ocoee after church on a Sunday, so did everyone else . There was a 25-35 min wait and ppl everywhere so I was surprised that our wait was just under 25 mins. Once seated our server Sabrina was to our table right away. She was excellent filling our glasses nonstop even after we were done eating. The food was great, salads came out immediately the food took a bit longer but not bad. We had yummy rolls and peanuts till then. Our server was fantastic friendly and prompt. I wanted to tell her manager but apparently they are so short staffed there is no manager and the owner was busy cooking. In this world of no staff I was impressed at how well Texas Roadhouse was managing. No wonder this location is bumping. We will be back! You dine out for the ease and joy. They don't make it easy and suck out the joy by screwing up nearly every step of the way from seating, to taking order, to delivery of the order, to follow-up during the meal and yes, even during the check-out. Stopped by late on a Sunday night. Was our last dinner of our vacation. My Girlfriend had a sirloin with shrimp, and I was starving so I got a bbq chicken, sirloin, and grilled shrimp. Both our salads were crisp, steaks were cooked perfectly and all the other food was seasoned properly, and cooked nicely. The best part of the experience was our server Z. I would like to preface with the fact that the manager and server were amazing, so I'm not gonna give the restaurant less than 4 stars. But i want to make it known that the hostess that was working was incredibly rude and has a super stank attitude. She's a blonde girl with false eyelashes. We came in to be sat and she turned over her shoulder with a nasty face and was open-mouth chewing gum. She looked at us like we were interrupting her convo and bothering her. We watched her seat a lot of people through the night and as we expected she didn't smile one time or look even mildly pleasant. If that's the first face I see when i walk into a restaurant, I wouldn't come back. My friend wished her good luck in doing good at her workplace, and she came outside and yelled across the parking lot, "you're lucky I'm working right now!" Implying she would fight him if she wasn't on the clock. Trashy! Anyways, i wish i got our servers names because he was AMAZING. We went there last Sunday for lunch. I usually order Strip Steak, but this time, went with a Bacon Cheeseburger. Big mistake. The meat was cold (well done?), the bun was soggy and the fries were cold as well. WTF??. A friend had ordered chili and requested it to be very hot and with no cheese. It came cold and with cheese???##? I think they must have changed the cook, because it usually was better than this. I'll give it one more chance to see if it did improve. Arrived at front counter. A very young girl was seating the patrons. She told me they were very busy and that i could go to the bar area. I went to the bar area but got no service for 15 minutes. I wentcto the bar and the gentleman told me he could not serve me unless l seated by the hostess. So what went back to the young girl and she acted like she didn't knew who i was. Meanwhile all the patrons that were behind me initially were seated and eating. I asked for a manager who came, she was very stoic and rigid. I told her i did not like how i was treated, she told me to stand by the meat. She was not happy at all. I almost left but i ended up being seated at the same table i had just left. The waitress came , finally someone who was kind. Bread was awesome, coffee was horrible salad was good, (felicity) the waitress was awesome. She was attentive and gave me what wanted, i appreciate her. The manager was awful. I know we patrons get on yall nerves but the managers are train to handle difficult situations. My go to steakhouse What did I get I have always been a fan of Texas Roadhouse. Since my mother doesn't eat beef, we always get the half chicken for her, its plentiful and tastes great! (Love chicken with bones!). I always get some sort of steak, I like the New York Strip or a Ribeye. Ive haven't had issues with the level they cook it as yet. *Crossing Fingers* I love that they keep you busy with peanuts and also rolls. The rolls are DANGEROUS! It is so good! Environment This is a stand alone building behind Bank of America. It may always seem like the parking is full but you can always park at the Bank of America lot! Enough parking for everyone. The interior is relatively dark. It is load so I don't think it is a date night kind of location. It is a casual restaurant where it is okay to throw the peanut shells on the floor. Niceness of the staff. I haven't had an outstanding wow moment with any staff as yet. They are attentive and took orders timely and brought out orders in a timely manner. Dollar Reasonable. Me and my family made a reservation for 6pm. We arrived about 15 mins early for our reservation. We were than asked to wait and we would receive a text letting us know when our table would be ready. Mind you we called TWICE making sure our reservation was set and we were all good to go. It is now 6:50pm and our table is still not ready. We went in side and told them we were going to leave and their reply was "your table is almost ready, if you'd like to wait". Ridiculous after making us wait for an hour! This is honestly one of my favorite steakhouses. It's been awhile since I've gone, so I decided to stop in for dinner one day. The parking lot was busy per usual at Texas Roadhouse so I was expecting a bit of a wait, to my surprise i was able to sit right away. Unfortunately I do not remember my server(s) name, but they grabbed our drinks right away (one was training hence to why there were two) along with my favorite rolls, butter, and you can't forget the peanuts. Shortly after they took our order and it wasn't long before our food came out. It came out pretty quickly. I had the prime rib which cooked perfectly for me with a loaded baked potato. My friend had a New York strip which seemed a little burnt but he said it was still fine. Overall good and service was quick and efficient. I would return to this location. read more

The whole place was full, but they were very fast and got a seated relatively quick. They were very friendly, the waiter was very attentive. The foods was delicious and reasonably priced. The bread was amazing with the cinnamon butter. The ribs was fall off the bone. The steak perfectly cooked. My whole family looked it and we definitely will be back. When I went to Texas Roadhouse today it was about a 5 minute wait for my family of 5, after we sat down which took a second because they took awhile cleaning off the table but once we sat down we were given 3 baskets of rolls and 8 tubs of cinnamon butter. I got the 6 ounce steak with a side house salad with no egg or tomato with the low cal ranch. The salad was excellent and tasted truly fresh but the steak I got it medium and well I'm weird so I put the cinnamon butter on my steak and a little bit of salt and wow I mean wow it tasted like the food for the gods the butter melted instantly when I put it on it and I cannot wait until I get to go again! read more

The kitchen at this location is awesome. The food is really good most of the time. The rest of the restaurant is always a grade A s-show. They never have the order ready on time for pickup. Today they were out of cups and containers for butter... Either the staff is lazy and dishonest or this place needs some direction. Amazing experience tonight. My fiancé and I went last min got seated quickly and our waiter was the top reason we had a great experience. I believe his name tag said Spyro and he was incredibly attentive the entire night. It was crowded and he was still able to work efficiently and quickly without seeming frazzled. Our food was also delicious which has been something other restaurants have lacked recently. We both got steaks and an appetizer and literally everything tasted amazing. My fiancé even said it was one of the best steaks he's ever had (even compared to Ruth Chris). We were able to grab the manager tonight and inform her how great our experience was between our waiter and the food. If we were those rich people with crazy money we would've left a $1,000 tip. Second visit within a month at this place. First experience was awesome. Second experience not so much. Pretty good food for the price and even when the restaurant looks busy there is always fast seating. Plenty of parking and there's even an outdoor area where you could choose to hang out. Lots of TV's if you'd like to come and watch a game or something. I have yet to try out the bar but I did notice that they have specials. After a long day, we decided to fill our belly's here. Upon entering we were seated immediately after being greeted by 3 smiling faces. We also had a basket of fresh bread with cinnamon butter. My mom and brother were not fans of the cinnamon butter because the bread is already a bit sweet so they asked for regular butter. I love the cinnamon butter though, it's like crack. Lol We quickly knew what we wanted so we got drinks and put in our order. I liked the fact that you can order a side salad at no additional cost as a regular side menu item with your meal. Those were brought out first. I ordered Caesar my husband ordered house. So we scarfed those down. Then we waited...........and waited......I literally fell asleep,.......waited some more. It took what seemed like ages until finally a manager walks out and says all the food is ready with the exception of my husbands catfish. He went on to say that the catfish had 4 minutes left to cook. He apologized and offered a free dessert or an adjusted bill. We were already dozing off so we went with the adjusted bill. Our food finally came. I had chicken critters, my mom ordered the chicken critter salad, and my brother and husband ordered the fried catfish. It all tasted pretty good. We all barely ate though be cause we were overcome with sleepiness. So we asked for boxes and our check. The manager took off $10. I guess it was better than nothing. For what we had and the amount of time we waited I probably won't be visiting back here anytime soon. Maybe it was just a bad night but nonetheless it's an average restaurant. read more

Stopped here 9/9 as we wanted to get out of house after boarding up & getting ready for Irma. Knew everyone was closing early but not sure of time. As it turns out when we checked they said their closing time was in about 20 minutes but the said come on in no problem and we were seated right away. All 5 of us ordered something different and the food came out hot & delicious. The waitress Missy was fantastic and took time to talk to the girls. So we thought that we could just eat one meal that was a place we knew...and chose this over a local steakhouse. The onion has really no flavor, but I knew that going in. It was cooked, and hot, and that was a plus in today's world. Then we ordered, I ordered a blue rare steak, going so far as to note "cold in the middle" and my hubby ordered his medium rare. When they came, mine was medium rare headed to medium and his was well. I had cut mine before the person serving us left, and she told my husband to cut into his as well to ensure it was right. Then she promptly left. So we called them over. I had decided that as busy as the place was, I didn't want to eat just my steak alone...so I told them mine was not as I like it, but I was prepared to eat it but my hubby said his was not okay at all. 20 minutes later we finally got the steak. It was medium rare. This is not a 20 minute process. Then, I sat my drink at the edge for sometime before getting any notice. The cuts of meat are okay. But they don't know how to properly prepare what you order. I get the idea that you get whatever comes out. read more
