This was such a great meal, perfect for two people! It was tender and juicy, and the sauce it came with made it perfection! I got the green beans and broccoli as sides. The green beans were a bit sweet but still tasty. The broccoli was a bit raw to my tasting. Our waitress was attentive and got us 3 baskets of bread with extra butter! So yum! The ambience was good for lunch, the music wasn't too loud, and it wasn't overly crowded at this time. If you pay with card, you can pay on the device on your table. There's also QR code for the menu, there's also hand held menus on the table. If you play games on the kiosk, it does charge you $1.99

If you're looking for a solid, dependable dinner with great service, Texas Roadhouse on Midlothian delivers. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I sat at the bar, which had the typical setup you'd expect--Texas country cowboy vibes all around.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The bartender greeted me immediately, and the service was great throughout my visit. The prices were very reasonable, especially with the early bird happy hour deals. They had multiple meals for $11.99 and plenty of drink specials, but since I'm pretty picky, I ordered off the main menu instead. I went with a glass of Pinot Grigio, a ribeye steak (medium), a loaded baked potato, and a house salad. The salad came out first and was disappointing--it wasn't very fresh, with several wilted pieces I ended up picking out because I'm not one to send food back. The warm bread served with it was a highlight, though, as always--delicious and comforting. When my steak came out, it was a little undercooked. I ordered medium, but it leaned more towards rare. However, the staff was quick to fix it by warming it up and even giving me a fresh baked potato, which I appreciated. Next time, I'll probably order medium well at this location just to be safe. The steak was decent, though I prefer it more cooked and seasoned when the quality isn't top-tier. Portion sizes were good, and for $40 (which included my meal, drink, and tip), it's hard to complain too much. This isn't a five-star steakhouse, but for a casual and reliable dinner, it works. Would I come back? Sure will! Just don't expect gourmet quality--but you'll get great service and a satisfying meal for a fair price.

I was surprisingly impressed by my visit! We were seated after a couple minutes despite it being very busy on a Saturday night. We were given fresh rolls that were delicious and buttery. I ordered the half slab of ribs with chili and steak fries. This was a really good portion of food, and great bang for your buck. The chili was well seasoned with a tiny kick, and everyone loved it. I tried the grilled shrimp as well which was cooked perfectly and flavorful. The ribeye was cooked well too, and had a lot of flavor. Overall I was very impressed with the food. The only downfall was that our food took a while to come out, and I was also served my chili side first rather than with my dish, though i'm sure our waiter would've brought it out later if I asked. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Our table agreed that this is a solid place for a casual dinner![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We used the website to get on the wait-list shortly before we arrived. As soon as we got there, they had us sit on a bench and then had us at our table within 5 minutes. The server was there shortly and brought us water while we waited for our drinks. Both of us ordered steak and they were cooked perfectly! The salad was delicious and I loved that they don't charge extra for side salads. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was fairly loud in there, but it was very busy so it was expected.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Even with being so busy, everything was fast and efficient. We love Texas Roadhouse and are glad to know that no matter which one you go to, service and quality will be top notch.

Service was ok, nice and cordial, nothing special, food on the other hand, was exceptionally bad...like it has been for the last 3 visits, the bloomin onion was burnt, couldn't eat it, my steak and shrimp were cold, both cooked ok, but the bread that my shrimp rested on, was soggy soaked and yet there was still enough butter to spill on the table when waitress set it down. My baked potato was undercooked and cold, the scoop of unmelted butter was hidden under the the "bag" of cold, artificial bacon bits, at least the steak was ok, just cold. There were 4 gnats flying around our food that we were unable to catch But the kicker was, upon paying, the screen asked us if we wanted to leave a tip?, absolutely, 20% is our standard, the machine even provided percentages (see photo) I am going to refrain from commenting my opinion, there could be an honest reason for this, but I will however encourage others to check the math.

Called to place a to go order and was transferred to no one for over 12 minutes. I arrived at the restaurant to total chaos! Lobby packed a lady was complaining she called and no one answered as well for curb side. I went to place the order and it appears there is only one person who could take the order and they were no where to be found. After 12 minutes on hold. Several minutes trying to find the one and only person who could/would take my order I placed it. The staff appears to be overwhelmed, no manager in site. Placed a nice size dinner order. Porterhouse steak, house salad, appetizer ribs and of course bread. Let's see what the food entails... Advice to management- get on the floor and take care of your business and help your staff! A negative zero for today's order!

We ordered ribeye steaks. They were so fat and stringy that we could not eat them. This was our first time to order. Very disappointed!

    How are the ribs?

Fall off the bone good Heather! We have a 3-day preparation process that makes sure our ribs are tender and seasoned to perfection. We then apply our signature BBQ sauce that is amazing! You should give them a try!

To my surprise, the owner, John Taxin, showed up (as he was off) and had a nice chat. What a wonderful evening and a must-visit place in Richmond. Jim H

Even after it filled in (we were there for 3+ hours), it still had great acoustics. Easy to carry on a conversation. We got a few things before the mains - shrimp cocktail (4 to a serving), prosciutto wrapped mozzarella (amazing), chopped wedge (very good just needed a little more blue cheese dressing). For the mains, we both got the ancho rubbed cowboy ribeye and I got the broiled blue cheese add on (yes, love blue cheese). The steak was AMAZING!! Cooked perfectly and incredibly flavorful. I strongly recommend the fromage topping!! For sides, we got portabella mushrooms and the Brussels sprouts. The mushrooms were fantastic. The sprouts were not very good. Tasted boiled and no flavor. All in all... highly recommend this place. Keep in mind, it's pricey. Our bill was $400 and all I had was water. My friend had 3 old fashioneds.

We started with incredible oysters- I'm not a huge oyster person, but these really stood out, especially the seasonal mignonette. We ended up ordering another two because we liked them so much! Our favorite dish of the night was the Nashville hot shrimp- great heat level and flavor, they were perfectly crispy and paired so well with the house pickles and white BBQ sauce they were served with. We could've easily taken down another plate of these. They had a tomato hand pie special that we also really enjoyed, as well as the crab hush puppies. We liked our entrees (swordfish and the smash burger, which wasn't really a smash burger but was still a solid burger), but enjoyed the small plates much more. We ended with the white chocolate budino, which is a pretty generous portion and was SO tasty- it came with a ton of brownie chunks and cocoa nibs! Service was really friendly from everyone there. My only critique is it is LOUD inside, so be prepared to speak up. We'd definitely return if we were back in the area!

Noise level can be challenging so we try to go in the early side when possible. Went for our anniversary in during Richmond restaurant week in October (they gave us a complimentary glass of bubbly to celebrate) and again with the kids in December. They always have amazing cocktails. Their mixologist is on their game with so many choices! For our anniversary, we got Cloud Boat and Apartment in the City, and we loved them both. Both were completely as described, light and ez in the palate which is a skill for whiskey. For apps we got the PEI mussels and the smoked fish dip. Again both were delicious. I particularly love my fish dip - the groom focaccia was done beautifully in the dill was a nice compliment to the flavor. For entrées, we had the catfish sandwich and the Arctic char. The catfish sandwich was good, but nowhere near the quality of the Arctic char, which was savory and delicious and elevated by the brown butter and golden raisins. Since it was restaurant week the dessert was included in the price so we got the apple cranberry fry pie And the chocolate ganache bar. Both were a nice way to end the meal. Tasty but not mind blowing. With the kids we ordered Gnac attack, Proper Dose, American Love Call, and Bebot. Again they were all so good but for me the Proper Dose and Gnac attack were the best. For apps we got the fish dip and one of the specials and loved them both. Entrees were the Spanish mackerel, the arctic char and a special that was a gumbo and rice. We ate everything and had no room for dessert. Can't wait to go back.

I took my daughter to go see Mamma Mia and I was able to get reservations for dinner. We got early reservations for 5:30, there were only a couple of tables with patrons but by the time we left if filled up. It's such a chic spot, I wonder why we don't come here more often. My daughter also enjoyed the ambience. We started off with Pimento Croquettes which were super light and I loved the pimento cheese spread it came with. My daughter actually ordered the creste di gallo pasta which was delicious. The waitress did warn us of the spice (my daughter doesn't love things too spicy, so they recommended the burrata with it)... it ended up being too spicy for her lol so I swapped with her. She ended up eating my Roasted Pork Loin with curried spaetzle which she loved and I did too (no worry we had leftovers of both which I will probably end up eating lol ). My only complaint was that both dishes were a bit lukewarm... I thought both were flavorful but I would've loved if they were hotter. I have a thing with piping hot food. All in all it was great and I will need to come back soon. Side note, we went to Shyndigz for dessert after, which was super close so that was nice.
