The steaks were AMAZING, and cooked perfectly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The drinks were phenomenal. The mango margarita ordered, had actual pieces of mango fruit in it (that was a first). The customer service was also on point. The waitress, and manager continuously made sure we were ok. Like most Texas Roadhouse's, it's a big and spacious restaurant. We've recently ate there. Silverware was dirty. We asked for some clean silerware and it came back dirty. Showed the waitress both times and she was very appologic. It's been a hit or miss with this place. Today, it was definitely a miss by a mile. The drink order was the only thing correct. I usually love this location of Texas Roadhouse but tonight wasn't the best service in my opinion. And I never write reviews because I know everyone is going through something in their life and you never know if they are having a bad day or what so I usually don't mind. Our first time at TRH was very enjoyable. We were just looking for something different, never a fan of chain restaurants but so many people like this place we decided to give it a try. We used the get on the waitlist feature and it worked very well. By the time we got to the restaurant we only had to wait five minutes, excellent. Even though it was 8 PM the place was packed with lots of people waiting. Once seated we took a few minutes to check out the options, I ordered a rib eye and my husband ordered the ribs. We opted to share the shrimp appetizer, it was very good. 5 nice size shrimp well seasoned, a perfect share. We had house salads, very tasty, probably not the healthiest with cheese etc, but they were also very good. My steak arrived perfectly cooked, very flavorful, and the baked potato was also delish. The rib eye was not as marbled as I would have expected, so not as tender, but it was still good. The ribs were excellent, really tasty and fall off the bone tender. My husband had the loaded mashed potatoes which he really enjoyed. The other star of the show was the rolls......oh my goodness are they delicious! Warm, soft, flavorful, I am not a big bread eater but these were excellent. Add the honey butter and you're in heaven ! We each had two drinks and the check was around $80 before tip, a solid value. I'm after reading some of the reviews from months ago, it's time for an update. We arrived Nov. 28, 1pm. We left 1:50pm. Everything was great. Our waitress, Jazmine was wonderful. She was very attentive, polite and on top of everything. I loved her warm personality and her laugh. She understood dining with kiddos. She certainly worked hard. Our meals were good. No major complaints. Our rolls from the start at seating were cold, but Jazmine brought us fresh rolls after that. In regards to covid, there is plexiglass in between the booths. Some have masks, some do not. But, we are at the point where we listen to guidelines on our comfort level, and take precautions. It's seems they have made some improvements from their opening back in February 2021. I'm sure they may have a few kinks to workout here and there. But, I am sure they will work on those. read more

July 26 2024 Our Birthday dinner was perfect. The ribs and steak were perfectly prepared and served in a reasonable time. The busy server was polite and our meals were excellent. It's loud but that is to be expected in a busy restaurant. Next time hopefully we will get a booth. We are locals and will be sure to return soon. Glad we chose Longhorn over Outback. The staff is not bad, too much standing around talking to be honest, especially in the front of the restaurant. I had the WORST dining experience at the Texas Roadhouse. I need a cane to get around and my wife uses a walker. Despite this, no attempt was made to seat us at a table close to the door. The volume of the music and the crowd noise was very bad; we could barely talk to each other. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everyone else in my party had finished eating and all I had was a cold baked potato in front of me, and no steak dinner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had already waited 40 minutes for our orders to be served, plus another 20 minutes recooking my steak and I was tired of waiting in the extremely noisy restaurant. I told the waitress to cancel my order, remove the item from the bill, and that I will never return to this restaurant. No apologies were given for getting my order wrong nor the long wait for the food I never got. Then the atmosphere started to get very uncomfortable. It was getting close to closing time and 3 employees (2 makes and a female) were cleaning up and having non-appropriate discussions about how he doesn't like working and how the girl farts Cinco De Mayo along with a lot of f-bombs. While we ate dinner on a Tuesday night, TWICE a couple employees. Two women, not sure their positions got up and danced and clapped very loud right next to our table. Just opened and already a shit show. The wait is 2+ hours and they are intentionally not seating 50% of the restaurant, despite having no restrictions imposed by the state government. The wait staff eagerly expressed their disdain with the management, and even went as far to say they are told to "keep their mouths shut" when they ask questions. We called ahead, told there was a 2 hour wait, arrived 15 minutes early to check in, were told "another 15-20 minutes," then had to wait another 45 minutes before getting seated. When we got in the door, it was half empty....??!! To top things off, we waited more than an hour for our food. Finally, the service manager came to our table and said that he was unprepared for the rush, therefore had instructed the host staff to seat only 50%. Essentially, he said he wasn't able to perform his job at even the level of par. At 50% it was still abhorrent. If I had any say in the matter, I'd be putting all the staff through new training before I opened the doors again. Sorry, this place sucks already. Save your time and money. read more

I mean better than Applebee's, Outback and Buffalo Wild Wings with respect to steakhouse type food for sure... Don't take your wife or girlfriend here for a good steak though. If you order a steak order it one shade less than you normally would, as they have a tendency to overcook. Atmosphere was great. Service was great. Just had a phenomenal meal at the new Texas Roadhouse in Millsboro! We had Filet Mignon with Baked Potatoes, salad, and applesauce. The steak was perfectly cooked as ordered. Excellent atmosphere with music whic( included the staff doing a line dance. We had a wonderful waitress named Cassandra who could not have been more friendly and engaging. The other staff members were also extremely welcoming and assisted Cassandra very well. We usually drive to the Seaford restaurant but live much closer to Millsboro and were so happy that Millsboro is off to a great start and was absolutely on par with Seaford!
