I love the steak and salad and everything on their menu. They are always friendly and if you call ahead and get on the waitlist an hour before you get there you can usually get in quickly. I just love going there and the restaurant is full of people who love it as much as we do. Plenty of TVs to watch sports while you're chatting with friends. It's always nice and clean and the orders are big enough to have leftovers if you're into that sort of thing like me. read more

I have had good experiences at our local Texas Roadhouse but last night was not one of those. Waitress was great, bless her heart. But, my Filet was over done and it was very cold inside. After confronting the manager, I believe his name is Adam, he refused to turn the AC up because he would have a " Revolt on his hands". Not sure if he was talking about the work staff who were mostly wearing sweatshirts with long sleeves to stay warm or if he was talking about his patrons who were shivering. After talking to a couple of waitresses they agreed that not only were they cold, but their customers were all cold at every one of the tables they had. Even Adam, the argumentative manager, was wearing a sweatshirt all zipped up with long sleeves. Seems to me he would want to turn the AC up and maybe give the customers a chance to eat their steaks before they got cold. And maybe reduce the over priced sodas. Texas Roadhouse never misses. Me and my sister came here STARVING. We had the most angelic and attentive waitress, SANDRA! She was fantastic and so so nice. Never went without a refill and never without fresh rolls. If you come here you must ask for her, she's an absolute sweetheart. The food was phenomenal, super hot and fresh, better than the Indianapolis location! My sister said that someone's mamaw fixed her sweet potato so that's how you know it's slapping. Well since the last time I was here things have changed a lot. There used to be visible management all over the floors assuring your meal and expectations were met. Not this time. Hubby and I sat at bar, only 3 others when we Sat down we're sitting there. Looking over menu I look straight at the alcohol to see a box of ritz crackers looking at me with 2 obviously employee drinks. Okay that's not professional. Ordered a drink had to wait till I'm almost done to even get her attention that I wanted water. We ordered appetizer of potato skins, it was not skins, more like potato wedges with American cheese slices on them, then placed in microwaved. My steak was not cooked right way. Had to wait awhile till another person came to ask if it was okay. It was overcooked and extremely salty. It also looked as it was smooshed. The quality has gone down hill. Then I witnessed another server behind mm e wwith a cleaning bottle in her hand and was delivering food at the same time. I pointed it out to husband and we were horrified. I came in with my family and was overwhelmed with the lack of professionalism at the hostess stand. To say we felt unwelcome would be understatement. We repeatedly had to approach the hostess stand to get any consideration. Despite very few people waiting and lots of open tables it took 30 minutes to be seated. We found our waitress to be even more unprofessional. The service was a huge disappointment but the food was good. It still took forever and we couldn't get out soon enough vowing never to return. I was going to name names but I figured letting the cancer fester would be better for all, especially the waitress who is going no where in life in a hurry - A van down by the river is what you bring to yourself and your coworkers. read more

When we finally flagged her down it was way to late to salvage a hot meal. She in fact offer nothing. I request a to go box for my remaining chicken fingers and a mashed potatoes and gravy in a to go container. She did bring it with a smile one her face. Didn't have the heart to tell her she brought she replace my two sides with 1 side. Bill came, overcharged, should have been the early bird special. She corrected it. Iced tea was not fresh..super cloudy. Disappointing 6.00 for two glass that were never refilled. Where is management? Why did no one come check on us? She brought out half of the appetizers we asked for and the wrong alcoholic beverage that was ordered. That was a red flag #1. We waited to be seated for an hour, and then had to wait for another hour prior to be served. When our food was brought out to us, everything was burnt and/or cold. Once the manager was informed, she offered a discount price for the meals. She then proceed to bring out the receipt which amounted to $80.00. My family neither myself ate anything outside of rolls and appetizers ( which we stated we will pay for everything we did eat). But for no one to touch their entrees, it's no way this bill should've been charged to us. Once we informed the manager again that no one ate their food, she said " Okay we will take care of the bill". My family can afford the price of the food and then some, so a free meal or discounted meal wasn't what we wanted. We wanted to have a great family meal and gathering. I had a choice between Applebee's and Texas Roadhouse tonight. We voted for Texas Roadhouse. Usually, this place is the best, tonight not so much. We all ordered and received our order. Everyone except for me received their food. Mine came out made wrong. I ordered a new york strip with cheese and gravy on it. After about a half hour, it came out wrong again. It was loaded with mushrooms, onions, cheese, and gravy. Of course, they took it back and was to make it correct. After another twenty minutes and everyone else already done eating, it came back out. I'll give you a guess to what happened next. Yep, you guessed it. It was wrong again. They didn't put my cheese and gravy on it. Again, it goes back to be corrected. This time, about five minutes later, it comes back out. Hurray, it was correct this time. No, wait a minute, it is still not correct. What they gave me wasn't a new york strip. I'm not really sure what cut off meat it was, but it wasn't a new york strip. Now, being the only one eating, I felt I had to hurry and finish. I'm not really enjoying the meal. The waitress was very apologetic the whole time. They did take the price of the steak off the bill. I feel I should have been compensated more, though. read more

Texas Roadhouse continues to be a disappointment in customer service whether it's in person dining, take out, or call ahead service.

After a little shopping, we decided to use our gift card we had received. We arrived a 4:45 and was told 55 - 1:05 minutes .. it was right at 1 hour 10 minutes to get seated. Our waitress was a young girl, very polite and friendly. She did tell us initially that they were busy so wait time was a little longer. However, our appetizers, bread and salad all came out very quickly and pretty much at one time. Then the weight began. There were others around us that were seated after us, and received their meals before we did. Finally, I asked the waitress if she could check, and she kept apologizing and went back to the kitchen. After a short time, she came out and made a comment about our order being sent in after a large party, but it would be out shortly. After being seated for over an hour, our meal was finally brought out. My husband's prime rib was raw, and not even warm. My steak, which I had ordered medium was also raw. Parts on the outside were edible, but for the majority of it, it was completely raw. The mushrooms and onions on the side were cold. A manager came over to apologize for the wait and then also took my husband steak back to reheat it. That was another 10 to 15 minute wait. Initially, I didn't realize that most of my steak was raw, and didn't want to mess with sending it back. One of the staff that checked on us was obviously impaired. Will not return ! read more

One order was under cooked. Asked for medium rare and it was very rare. Took help over 10 minutes to bring back and you could see that they threw it on the grill and over cooked it. It was a prime rib. The don't need to re cook it. Just cut off the right piece off meat. Also the server never came by to ask about our meal. They were very short staffed, but still let our party come and enjoy our special occasion together! The staff pulled together and did an exceptional job! Taylor, the gal training for management was awesome and right on top of everything as she was learning from Michelle the other manager on staff! Good front of house staff and amazing fresh rolls. But the wait on top of getting our entree before our appetizer, gave me a less than satisfied visit. We tried again recently and it was a very good experience. The food was good and their service was outstanding. Went here on a busy Friday night. Did the call ahead seating and only had to wait about 10 minutes once we got there. The prime rib I had was perfectly cooked medium rare and quite tasty. Best part about going here was Ashton our server. She was on top of things the entire time we ate and also had a personality. She even came back after taking our bill to thank us for the tip we left her. Hopefully when we go back, she is still there as it was the best service I have had in a long time. read more
