Nov 2019: Carla has been amazing with my new dog, Nova. He was a rescue and is very anxious and nervous. She has jumped in during last minute trips and always takes such good care of him. He loves going over there as well, which makes me feel so much better about leaving him. He gets lots of love, lots of walks and always comes home pooped after playing! She's my #1 go to! Mar 2022: still using Carla exclusively, unless she's booked . Over spring break she kept my dog and sent me regular pictures and updates. She administered eye drops 2x a day as well to help him get over an infection. Her and her team also made daily visits to my house to watch our cats. I received daily updates and pictures as well. I can't say enough great things about TRF, this is such an amazing pet sitting service! I had such great peace of mind, leaving for our trip and leaving the care of our precious doggies in their care, once I met Kathy at our first meet and greet visit. Kathy was so thorough with asking questions and I loved all of the information you get with each visit they make. There is such a detailed app that informed me once a visit started and once it ended. Within the app were great details of how each visit went, what they ate, any concerns, potty details, and lots pictures included. Everything was so detailed and I absolutely loved that! They are truly the best and I could really feel how relaxed my doggies were when we got home, they weren't anxious or stressed, I could tell that they had a great week too. read more

We were a little nervous about giving our house key and leaving our precious dogs with someone new but at the "meet & greet" with Carla & Kathy, it was obvious that they are in this business because they care and they can be trusted. Carla is friendly and professional, she responds quickly to phone calls and texts. Kathy was amazing too! One of our doggies was a little under the weather but Kathy gave her the medicine we left & was in constant contact with us about how our dog was feeling. Early in May I was getting ready to leave town for a week and was uncertain what to do with my two cats. One is older and is on a special diet. I looked for a place where I could lodge them but, being fairly picky, didn't find anything that appealed to me. I subsequently learned about Texas Ruff House and their in-home services and decided they offered the kind of service that I needed. I made arrangements with Carla for a young man to come to my house every morning and feed the cats, fill water bowl and clean litter box. And what I really appreciated was the pics Joaquin sent me every day keeping me apprised of Scarlet's and Molly's status. TRH offers a variety of types of services, numbers of visits and lengths of visits. They are great and I highly recommend them. read more

I contacted these great people for dog sitting last spring for my two senior dogs and youngster dog. The senior pug decided to get pancreatitis the week we were leaving. He was sent home with meds and a finicky appetite. Kathy was our dog sitter and she went above and beyond as I'm certain all their care givers do. She fixed him eggs and also hand fed him. I use the twice daily in my home visits. We've since used them two more times and they give you visit updates and pictures and respond promptly to questions Texas Ruff House is the best thing I can do for my sweet fur babies if we are out of town. We have used Texas Ruff House for several years now! We always request our favorite pet sitter, Gina. If Gina is unavailable, we plan our schedule around her availability. I am sure al of the others are great too, but we have a relationship with Gina and she works best for our family. Over the years our herd as grown. She now sits with our 4 dogs when we are out of town. She sends daily updates, photos and reassures that everything is great. Can't say enough wonderful things about Texas Ruff House! Carla and her team were very warm and friendly with my both of my Scotties. One of my Scotties Max loves everyone and the other one Bella is afraid of everyone. They were very patient with Bella, getting her outside and back in! If you need a pet sitting service, this is the one! We went out of town during Christmas this year and Texas Ruff House was a great help. The big freeze was here and they helped out in every way possible. They ran water and opened cabinets for us to help keep from freezing.
