Excellent barbeque sandwich. My friend had a baked potato and it was great. Very clean and service was excellent.

While we sure love those bugs, honestly there has not been a single thing that wasn't outstanding on his menu. Oh! And besides the fantastic food.... You will always find the owner Joel first in line to help others in times of crisis. It's not unusual for him to cook up huge batches of something delicious to feed first responders, flood victims, etc. We love Bayou Boys, and this world needs more Joel's in it!!

When I walked up, a couple was outside having their crawfish. It's a grab n geaux as they say online. I ordered 4 lbs and some boudin balls. I was informed it would be about 45 mins since they do Louisiana style, after cooking it requires a 30 min soak. I sat outside while waiting, as soon as I sat at the patio tables, more and more patrons stoped by to order. Within 25 mins, about 20 of us were waiting. They would update us on the time left to pick up. They place the crawfish in styrofoam to-go container and bag them up. The crawfish were on the small-medium end but that is expected given the time of year. The favor was good, the shells were a bit soft and it seemed that it may have been a touch overcooked but for the larger ones, it was just fine. Boudin balls were about baseball sized but very salty. I may return for more crawfish but once the season is fully going.

I totally get the hype about this place! If I lived nearby, you can bet I'd work my way through…read moretheir whole menu. There's just something different about this style of sandwich. I've had sandwiches in NYC and Boston, but Tony's were definitely better! The menu is overwhelming because so much sounds good, so we went with two 7 inch sandwiches to split--one hot and one cold. Although a helpful tip from the cashier is that you can order any cold sandwich hot. We had the Lucky Luciano (hot) and the Sophia (cold). Both were really good--it was hard to choose between the two. But if I'm being honest, that cold sandwich was reminiscent of subs I loved in the early 2000s from places that no longer exist...with that super thinly sliced turkey, thick slice of Swiss cheese, and basil mayo--it really hit the spot. We also had a cannolo--not as good as others I've had. The bottled root beer was delightful. The Lucky Luciano was the kind of sandwich I came here for, and don't get me wrong, it is deliciously cheesy and will make your hands messy. But the Sophia is the kind of sandwich I'll be craving. My only regret was not taking a sandwich to-go for later. Open a location closer to Houston, please. :)

Many visits later it pains me to remove a star FOR BEVERAGE ISSUES ONLY (the food is still…read morefantastic). They are a pepsi place (booooooo!), and there's no diet pepsi (pepsi zero is their only zero calorie soda option). If you drink Diet Coke (most popular diet drink in USA), then you don't want diet pepsi, but you'll probably drink it if you have to; however, you're very likely to hate pepsi zero (and Coke Zero, too), so no soda for you here anymore! A full Coke setup that also includes Dr Pepper AND Diet Dr Pepper is ideal. I realize a pepsi fountain is more profitable because of distributor incentives, but pepsi is favored by almost nobody and hated by many...so is it really worth it? Tony's is so great that pepsi just does not fit in. Hopefully they don't deteriorate further and change to Wonderbread for all of their sandwiches. Bottom line: at the very least, please add diet pepsi to your soda machine if that brand remains in place.

My bagel of choice was the Cheader potato and my friend Chris selected the blueberry, which was a suggestion of Krystal's, and it was also a good choice. I really like that really crack eggs are used with nice crispy bacon and cheese. Military discount is honored I believe, it was forgotten. I believe it's 10%. I also tried the potato muffin item which was ok as well.

Now when I go visit, I pretty much always stop and get us breakfast! I think I've gone about 3 times now, and it's been pretty solid! I've done the $7-8 breakfast and brew for my mom, grandma, and wife and it's been a hit! I think it's a great deal. You get to customize a bagel sandwich and a coffee for $8ish per. I believe 2 of them would get the cinnamon raisin bagel with egg whites, cheese and bacon which they really liked, and I can't remember if my grandma got the same or a cinnamon bagel sandwich. All I know is they all liked it. I've gotten a variety of bagels which I enjoyed, and I got a breakfast sandwich with brisket on it that was good, but a little underwhelming with the meat portion for the price. I am however a fan of their cracked pepper cream cheese. The service is just ok. Each time I've been, it's been around 10:30-11am. When I walk in nobody has said anything to me which is whatever, but whenever my order is taken I get such a stale vibe from the person helping me lol. I'm not there expecting a parade but they've been very flat exchanges lol. I've also started ordering and been a few items deep before they'd let me know that they have to get my drinks first. I go weeks apart so I didn't always remember. The speed I'd get my food has varied, but I do remember the drinks often taking longer than the food! As far as I remember the drinks were just black coffees. They would come out very hot so maybe they're freshly made. All in all, I'll keep coming back for some tasty bagels.
