I've heard nothing but good things about Dr. James but unfortunately I never had the chance to experience this. Scheduling was an absolute headache. I waited over a month for my daughters initial scheduled appointment only to receive a text message 2 days prior informing me Dr. James no longer practices on Thursdays. When I called to reschedule the only availability he now has that works with my schedule is over 8 weeks ago. This is ridiculous. Why would you ask me to reschedule 2 days prior, knowing availability is pretty much full. read more

My baby is 19mo and she had her very first dental visit here. They were so friendly at the front desk... we waited to be called back, it wasn't a long wait at all. After going in the back we met with the dentist, my little one was very antsy waiting for the dentist to come and they apologized for the wait (it wasn't long but with a small child it can seem that way when they are active). The dentist was gentle and explained thoroughly his practice and what we will be doing moving forward. Very excited to go back and to continue teaching my little one the importance of taking care of her teeth. We are happy with our experience so far. read more

She was so calming and cool with them That made the whole experience of getting their teeth clean less filled with fear and anxiety because of her demeanor. My 3 week old baby was tongue tied and they made it easy to schedule a consultation. The office is very clean, colorful and very appealing to kids! Dr. Slaughter was veryyyy nice, professional and knowledgeable. He explained the whole process regarding my sons procedure to ensure that his father and I understood what was about to take place and what our after care at home would consist of. We were able to get the procedure done on the same day as the consultation! That saved us a lot of time and another trip back to the dentist. The dental assistants were super sweet as well! It's hard to find a good doctor nowadays and it's safe to say that I have found my son's new dentist! 10/10 definitely recommend!!! read more

Today was my second visit coming into the office. Our assistant today was Mrs. Erin. From the time we went inside the office it was very clean, office staff was very nice and specifically Mrs. Erin who was our assistant today and she was absolutely amazing with the kids. We have a two-year-old that's a busybody but mrs. Erin was already to help him be clam so that he could get done all the things the older kids get did. I'm so happy that we chose to do our Dentist cure here and then we have the system and I will be requesting Erin in the future because she's a best fit for her family and the kids are used to her already. She was very organized patient and very kind with my family. I will definitely be returning to this facility as it was a unique experience. Not only for just coming there for regular. Check us by getting whatever we need with the kids dental. The dentist was also very friendly and engage with the kids. My kids feel really comfortable with the dentist as well and so we're really happy with it. Both were very warm with the kids and friendly. I went for a dental cleaning today for both my daughters and this is our second time here at this dental office and any dental office in general and still, we love this place. I was so nervous with my 1 and 3 year old and wanted to find a kid friendly place that didn't scare them away. I did my research and found this place. Today, Sarah helped us and she was very good with the kids and made them comfortable. It was easy breezy today. Dr. James is always wonderful with the kids and makes them comfortable, he also gets straight to the point and let me know how my kids' teeth are and how I should care for their teeth. My 1 year old saw how comfortable her big sis was with Sarah and Dr. James that she said 'my turn' and got right in the chair after without me holding her. It was a quick, good visit, in and out in 30 minutes. In the end, my kids loved getting toothbrushes and the coin to get a toy, 'their reward' for being good. I hope they remember this and look forward to always going to the dentist! read more

Searched for a new dentist for my daughter and located Texas Tiny Teeth/Frisco. As a new patient we were encouraged to arrive early so we did. We had a 2pm appointment and arrived early as instructed, upon arrival we stood at the empty front desk for a good 5 min before greeted by anyone. Once greeted the lady made a comment that we were early and my reply was yes, as instructed when we made the appointment. Shortly after sitting down we were approached by a 2nd woman who told us "you will need to wait outside". My response, "why and its like 90 degrees outside", she then told me there was nobody to sit at the front desk so we would need to go away and come back or wait outside, then she follows behind us and locks the door! Wow, customer service was terrible.. needless to say we did not return for the appointment nor will we ever be a client with this company in the future. Don't waste your time, there are so many wonderful offices that will appreciate your business rather than put up with this behavior. read more

We just started going to Dr. Slaughter and his team this month. My daughters go to the dentist every 6 months faithfully but to my surprise they both had 6+ cavities. Of course, I'm wondering what changed in the last six months so I discussed with him. He listened intently and was very patient and understanding about my concerns. Not only did he take the time to show them to me but also showed me how it couldn't have happened overnight. After our discussion, I felt very comfortable about moving forward with the next steps. During this time in healthcare, good customer attention and care in physicians and dentists is rare. I commend Dr. Slaughter and his team for creating a great environment where kids enjoy coming to the dentist and parents know they will receive personalized, excellent and necessary care. Dr. Slaughter made my 8 yr old feel so special and at ease. She just told me that needs to be my dentist for my whole life and I am going to take my kids to him too! We love Tiny Teeth and so does our Little Person. She looks forward to going and asks about going every other week because she likes the environment there!
