Charles Walker (service manager) answered the call and immediately gave me hope that they could help. I arrived and Charles personally handled my rig over the course of four hours (they were busy). Knowing that their RV hourly rate is impressive but competitive, he kept checking in with me to explain what they were investigating. We finally had an "ah ha" moment and he wrapped up the repair. They had the bulb but stated it was too difficult to put in to where the bulb was located. There were four available male white associates and no one could help. I thanked them and went down to AutoZone on Robinson Rd. They installed the bulb, it took two seconds, a woman associate installed the bulb, she removed one small panel on the right side, removed the old bulb and put in the new one. No difficulty. So because I was a woman, a black woman, they were all white men, they didn't want to help me at O'Reilly's. For any type of service I usually go to Mercedes of Texarkana or Forza Auto on Lake Dr. but both were closed. This is the second time I have had an issue with Valvoline…read more This time, I went in for a standard oil change, didn't need anything else but they offered the filter replacement. I got home and noticed a strange smell but thought my neighbor may have been burning something. I told my spouse about it and they checked beneath the car that night when they got home. There was an oil spot. Valvoline was closed and we live about 30 miles away. That morning, spouse checked my oil and it was completely dry and was saturated under the car. I immediately called and reported it to Valvoline. I have a full time job and kids and needed a car that was functioning so we had to get a local mechanic to look at it. He pulled the oil filter that Valvoline had put it in and it was busted/cracked. The air filter box screws were stripped and forced in so he took it off to check the air filter. It was tore up and bent as well. The undercarriage of my car was absolutely covered in oil. Multiple days later, I finally got a call back from Valvoline. I sent them all the pictures and mechanic reports. They decided they would not reimburse for the oil change, the mechanic cost to get my car back running, etc. Minorly - the time before this, I noticed a plastic piece hanging down from the bottom of my car. Told my spouse. He opened the hood and was able to fish it out. It was a filter grabbing/tightening tool. I asked Valvoline if it was theirs, they proudly said they used them during oil filter changes, I told them they left it in my engine. Very very upset at the cost of this mistake and how they are refusing to take responsibility and make it right. Very poor customer care.

I bought a belt for a 2000 ford taurus from this store a couple of weeks ago. live a hour away from…read moretexarkana and could have done business with auto zone , O'rileys, or nappa but i was in texarkana the day I got the belt and was only looking for a belt a 1/8 of a inch longer than the one that I was replacing due to it maxing out the tensioner. any way long story short I took the belt back because it was so long it would not even spin with the motor. when I do go and take it back i go in with my kids and i talk with a woman named susan I tried to explain that I lived a hour a way from there store but befor I could finish telling her about the belt or why I was returning it she became a smart ass by telling me her computer couldn't tell her I lived a hour away. i was stumped at first thinking to my self no this bitch just did not say this shit to me so I in return. told her no I'm sure it did not but my receipt could tell her what day I came in and bought the belt after I said that she did go ahead and refund my money but bad news for advanced auto is I won't be back to do business again and will do my shopping with other part stores
