    Thank you Ian for getting my family in a reliable used Honda Pilot for under $5,000. After my previous car failed on us, we sold it in hopes of being able to save to buy our next car cash. Everyone tried to convince us we'd end up w/ payments, but our diligence paid off and led us to you at Triumph. You had just what we were looking for. Under 200,000 miles, clean interior, no exterior damage and more than anything else, a great customer service experience! Even though we stopped by on a whim completely unprepared, you made sure we drove home in our car by the end of the day. Thank you again for going above and beyond. My family appreciates it! we look forward to many more years in our new/used Honda Pilot.

    Bought a car from here recently and didn't realize this until a week later. They used a mat to cover up a big hole in the driver side floor. No prior mention of it before selling the car.

    This dealership is owned by a very honest individual who will do his best to get you into a low cost vehicle that will fit your needs. They specialize in cash cars, financed for short terms and also offer some higher price range vehicles that can take care of your long term situations. Everything from 15 year old Corollas with low-end high miles, to 5 year old Hondas with low mileage. He has a unique variety that matches the demographic very well. If you don't have a huge down payment, or if you just need something to last you through graduation and the start of a higher paying career, Texas Triumph is your place. Honesty and integrity above all, they have excellent service. Just because you aren't buying a brand new Lexus or Mercedes doesn't mean your money isn't still good somewhere. This is the place. That's the reason for my 5 stars.

    Didn't find the car we wanted, but they were extremely helpful. I will go back when they have new cars in there inventory.

However, last year the service department lied multiple times. They lied about windshield wipers stating that I needed new ones after my son had just installed brand new ones. They lied about my brake pads stating I needed new ones: on one service inspection the pads are 4mm and the next they were 9mm. Additionally, they wanted to charge me to look at the situation with my brakes after they had already previously charged me and this is supposed to be part of the inspection when they rotate the tires. They used to provided delivery and pick up service and then suddenly told me they don't do that anymore. They also scratched the side of my car when they ran it through the car wash. And they tried to lie and deny it when they dented and scratched my son's truck when he took it in for service. They even went as far as showing us videos of a truck that was not his to try to prove they didn't do it. We ultimately proved they did and so they fixed it. And to make matters worse, when I brought these issues to the general manager, TJ Kendall, he just decided that they would not work on my vehicle ever again. REALLY! And if we want to go back to the beginning when I purchased my 2021 Highlander Platinum edition for about $50k, they messed up on the financing and wanted me to come back and give them a new check. And the finance guy argued with me about it repeatedly, even though I explained I wasn't even in the state. Nor had I actually taken possession of my car! Again, REALLY! And I'm the unreasonable one. I don't think so. I did contact Toyota Corporate and they started out saying they would take care of the situation and ended up stating that ultimately it was up to the dealership. I think Toyotas might be great cars, but the next time I purchase a new vehicle, it definitely WON'T be from San Marcos Toyota. And it doesn't matter if you're a repeat customer. We purchased 3 brand new vehicles from them in 3 years. Two of these vehicles were they high end Highlander Platinum edition for approximately $50k.

I bought a truck from them this past Monday 6/1/2026 I traded in a 2022 F350 lariat currently listed on their website for $55,954 with 92,000 miles It actually has over 101,000 on the odometer The truck I purchased is a 2020 ram 3500 limited with 200,000 miles (trucks in excellent shape) and as I was told by the dealership after the swindling I still got a fantastic deal! Jason the sales manager is a liar and a total turd of a person he tried blaming the finance lady for the reason the price of the truck I was buying jumped up $2,500 over the agreed price. Later he said it was because they over aloud on my trade. I wanted $50,000 and they gave it to me but the money had to come from somewhere so the price of the vehicle I was buying jumped up $2,500. It's my own fault I didn't walk away when they had two differing prices online only $6,000 difference. Long story short when dealing with this place read your paperwork carefully and do the math yourself. Also apparently it's at the dealerships discretion if someone gets the tax break when they do a trade in. According to Jason. I'm not saying this place is dishonest but there's definitely a pattern. I was clear from the beginning about what I was looking for and asked to review realistic options before spending time in-store. Instead, much of the interaction felt focused on getting me to come in or submit an application before providing meaningful preliminary numbers. I understand that not every deal can work, and I am not upset simply because the numbers did not line up. My concern is the way the process was handled. I repeatedly asked for clear information on vehicle options, pricing structure, payment estimates, and whether the vehicles being discussed actually matched what I was looking for. The communication felt vague at times, and when numbers were finally discussed, the option presented did not align with what I had clearly asked for. What would have made a difference was a more direct approach: "Here is what can work, here is what cannot work, and here are the realistic options." Instead, I felt like I had to keep pushing for basic clarity. Given my family's history with the dealership, I expected better communication and a stronger effort to walk through the options in a straightforward way. I appreciate the salesperson's time, but overall this was a less than desirable experience and did not feel as customer-focused as I had hoped.

It took about a week and a half to repair, and while we did get the car back, it has been one issue after another ever since. I understand the vehicle had over 150,000 miles, so some repairs are expected. However, the transmission has now failed again, and the situation has only gotten worse. The finance company they work with refuses to refinance or offer any reasonable solution. Instead, they are pushing us to either surrender the vehicle or take on another $20,000 loan with even higher payments. They are unwilling to work with us in any way, including adding repairs to our existing payment plan. What makes this even more concerning is that my sister had a very similar experience after purchasing from the same company--constant issues that never seemed to be properly resolved. If you're in a desperate situation with poor credit, this might feel like an option. But if you're looking for a reliable vehicle and a company that stands behind what they sell, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere

He is 6 hours away from home and needed reliable transportation. Prior to purchasing the vehicle, they had to flush/change the antifreeze/coolant, replace the radiator, replace the radiator cap, replace the thermostat, replace place the water pump gasket, replace the water pump, replace the battery, replace/repair the blower motor, replace/clean the cabin air filter, check the engine/powertrain computer/module and change the oil and filter. I am thinking we are making a good purchase due to the listed repairs/replacements. The car has overheated twice since buying it. The first time, we took it up there and they replaced the lower radiator hose and flushed/changed the antifreeze/coolant. The second time it overheated, they are now telling us it needs a motor. Purchased it in February and we now need a motor in June. This is extremely frustrating and very unacceptable. They stated because he has driven the car almost 7K miles commuting back and forth to both jobs and school, that they can't help us out. They had no intentions of helping me out. As a single parent of 4 children, it is already difficult enough taking care of my children on my own and paying for college out of pocket. The last thing I needed was for an auto center to take advantage of me as a woman. This is beyond upsetting.
