Cool 900 acre, 6 mile long drive through zoo out between Terrell and Kaufman. They have a lot of different animals that you can feed from a bucket. The animals will literally stick their heads inside your car to eat. It's fun! They have a little walk through section by their gift shop with giraffes, goats, and kangaroos. The only thing is, it's quite expensive and over priced, so be prepared so you aren't shocked when you get there.

My boyfriend and I came here over the weekend and we had just the best time. So fun and so full of laughter feeding all the animals and seeing them. Would return and a must do while in the area!

Here's a review in comparison to the fossil rim park! My family lives in the middle of both Texas Zoofari and fossil rim, not sure how long this park has been open but I've been going to fossil rim since I was a kid. We took our whole family out this weekend and absolutely LOVED IT! The park is big took us about 2 hours to drive through it and had a great time! In terms of comparison to fossil rim we feel like Texas zoofari has a lot more different animals!! We loved the cute lamas, and the longhorns and buffalo! There's so many cool animals here! The only difference for us is fossil rim has more of a scenic drive but animal wise this place takes the cake! Don't skip the animals by the gift shop! We loved all 4 attractions by it but our family really enjoyed feeding the birds!

Just a snippet of the damage. Does not show the full extent or the damage to all four sides.

While the animals were cute, I wish I had known they would seriously trash my car. You could not get away from them as they surrounded your car and scratched and dented it on all sides. Unfortunately, the deer with the long antlers and the long horn steer (or whatever they were) dented it numerous times and scratched the paint on all sides. Looks like someone keyed your car all over. It is gonna cost quite a bit in repairs, which made the visit a lot less fun and quite expensive. Would not recommend driving through in any vehicle you care about! While they do say on their website that they are not responsible for any damage, I had not seen any reviews noting significant vehicle damage. Now you know...don't go in a vehicle you don't mind trashing. Very disappointed.

I took my mom and son here on a Sunday morning. We got there at around 11:30, which is a great time to arrive because it's not too busy and we were able to walk around peacefully for a couple hours before the wagon ride. We loved everything about this place! The tour on the wagon was so nice, our tour guide Sam was very cool, we all loved him!

Animals are super active here and eager to be fed! It was such a good time, and the walk through area was nice as well!

Lots of animals! So much fun! Saw baby warthogs! It was a nice long drive and did not disappoint!

    I think that's a warthog

My daughter, my granddaughter, and I went to Zoofari. It was so much fun. We bought some food to feed the animals. Some them tried to grab the bowl away. I had to fight with one to keep it. We saw all sorts of animals. It was great. We had a wonderful time. But if you go and buy some food, bring a plastic bag to put it in, then just dip out with this bowl they give you don't use the full bowl or they can possibly knock it out of your hands We also went in the morning. That's the best time to go when the animals are all out. I highly recommend it And I don't know how many acres this place is but it was huge. When you think it's over, nope there's another section you can go to. Well worth the money.

this place took us by surprise ! It is not like every other safari park ! There were so many more animals than most and the bird feeding and giraffe + petting zoo/goat feeing were so much fun !! and not expensive at all, you can get the feed for all of the activities for 12 bucks and thats just after you drove around for about 1hr and a half through the safari area. Feed buckets are 5$ and the animal are all super friendly!!! Must go !!

It's a great drive through safari! It is quite large, significantly bigger than any other drive throughs I have been to. Quite a selection of animals to see! I would definitely recommend a visit here.

4th time there. Always a fun drive feeding the animals. Many animals to feed and see. Great staff.

    Hi friend

I went recently here and had so much fun. The kids really enjoyed. It definitely worth the drive and the price ( maybe the price per car will be more ideal ) since. Feeding food does add up quick ,all the animals very cute and well taking care of also all animals very interacted like you can actually feed them. The gift shop have so much to offer too . Restrooms were clean there is picnic tables at the end of the drive maybe bring snacks or small bite while here. the petting zoo at the end was really nice Highly recommend this place great experience overall

Definitely a hit with the kiddo! We took our 6yo daughter on a Sunday afternoon and she loved it. We saw alligators, capybaras, all sorts of weird fowl, goats, monkeys, a pig, an emu, some zebras (they were far off in an area that wasn't accessible), bears, baboons, roosters, a donkey, a miniature pony, peacocks, and tortoises. Probably the coolest thing outside the baby animal room was the alligator feeding. One of the handlers came out with a bucket of raw chicken and some gator knowledge, and we stood just feet away as these massive gators hissed and jumped and came up out of the water to eat. It was so awesome! In addition to the animals, there was also a small playground with ropes to swing on and climb. On our way out we stopped in the baby animal area and got to hold ferrets, a bearded dragon, two snakes, a baby coati, and a baby alligator. There was also a sweet baby muntjac deer you could pet (but not hold). We took a lot of really fun pictures. It was a great way to end the visit. The only drawback is that the grounds don't seem well-maintained and need mowing and other work. The barns were really dirty and covered in cobwebs. There were giant tortoise turds on the walkway. One of the feeding tubes for the bears was broken. You can tell the place is in need of some repairs. I'm sure it's because all their profits go to the animals and not the facilities. It didn't prevent us from having a great time and we would definitely visit again!

She was professional, kind, and incredibly helpful, answering every question I had with patience and care. We had a fairly large group with us--family members of all ages, including active military--and the experience matched everything Courtney described. It was truly a pleasure meeting her in person; she was just as warm and welcoming face-to-face. The animals in the storefront were engaging and delightful. We met Bun Bun the rabbit, whom I initially mistook for one of the stuffed animals on display, and Fancy Girl the dog, who was as cute as a button! The safari itself was AMAZING. The animals were engaging yet gentle, the dirt roads were well maintained, and it was clear the animals were happy and enjoyed interacting with the cars. We saw deer, llamas, goats, zebras, bison, donkeys, emus, and even a large camel at the end of the drive. Don't miss the walk-through portion of the safari either--it's a must! You'll see beautiful kangaroos, pigs, and more. There's even a small play area for kids and a water stream system where they can play and cool off. If we could give this place a 100, we would. It was an unforgettable experience for our family. Many of our guests were from out of town and are still talking about it. We cannot wait to go back and spread the word to everyone!! This is truly a place you don't want to miss.

The price at the gate (note: they do not do advanced tickets) is $15 per person. I do think that's a bit steep, especially without offering discounted rates for little ones. I'm not sure if the vendors are always onsite but they had frozen lemonade and other food and drinks for sale during today's event. We didn't indulge but the line for lemonade seemed to run smoothly. Other offerings: pony rides at an addition cost (we passed on this), a gift shop, mini playground and bounce houses, and fair games.
