DO NOT COME HERE Went here for my senior trip and got kicked out of the paintball field just for briefly removing my mask while already walking off the field. I understand safety rules, but the way the staff handled it was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Instead of giving a warning or calmly explaining the policy, the staff member went out of his way to insult me personally--saying things like "people like me go to jail" and making unnecessary comments about not being in college. That has nothing to do with paintball or safety and crossed a serious line. This was supposed to be a fun, memorable day. Instead, I was disrespected, humiliated, and sent away after paying $65. I don't recommend this place to anyone, especially schools or groups bringing students. They don't know how to talk to young people with respect. read more

My daughters planned this girls activity for my birthday. We traveled 300 miles just to shoot zombies. After reading the reviews from last year I was not expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised! It was so much fun. I don't want to post spoilers, but it was worth the trip and the money. A few heads up: dress appropriately for the weather; pull your hair back and secure your hats; if bringing kids don't let them be down below (too up close and personal); wear mosquito repellent (they had some for us). read more

I went to cousins today as a first timer playing paintball as a date. I'll start off by saying I had a great time and the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I booked a time slot for 1pm and we didn't start till 2:15! And the road it's on is kind of creepy (confederate vibes) But they closed before dark! Besides that I have no complaints. Staff was friendly and helpful ! It was very affordable at $30 per player (online price) Which included the mask, gun, free air refills. We did have to pay for the paintballs separately we got 1k -$48 not bad it lasted us the whole time ( 8 games) and we still had extras! The fields where unique felt like I was really going to eat And you can play unlimited games until closing! Paintball is most definitely my new hobby! read more

I was at cousins for their muddy dash. The emails sent out were extremely helpful. Participants had the option of picking up their race packets early. Due to the expected crowd, it was suggested to car pool or pay to park on the grounds. The obstacles and mud, combined with the rain today, made for a really mud run. There were staff at each obstacle to ensure the muddy runners were safe. I've completed other mud and swamp runs in the past but this run ranks at one of the better runs. We had a BLAST!!! It was a lot of fun and good for beginners as it wasn't overrun by hitmen with their super weapons. The place is a little pricey at $50 for gear and paintballs so get a groupon or other discount if you can find it. The staff was great and friendly. Also, the place isn't the easiest to find if you haven't been there before. It's RIGHT OFF I-20 and 740 about a 1/10 of a mile south on 740 on your right (west). Go with a group and go when the temps are a little cooler as clothing is your friend. No matter what, just go as it's a LOT of fun! read more

It was definitely a fun time and affordable. Went for the Zombie Safari event in October. However, I purchased our tickets ahead of time for general admission 7pm time slot. Then showed up early, while being about 10th person in line for check in that began at 6:45pm. We were told up to 2 hour wait for general admission, the vip tickets get to go first. So we did not get on the ride until about 10pm due to this. So if you get general admission, don't bother showing up early in hopes of avoiding long wait times. read more

My son loves to play paintball at cousins. The staff is always professional and helpful, and patient with the younger players!! This is a huge plus in my view. The courses are nice and areas to wait are covered. The first birthday party we had for our boys it was pooring rain all day... Kids had a blast and I stayed dry! Win win!! Today is bitter cold and I'm working while my son plays. Todd the manager has been amazing each time we visit. Today he kindly put heater on, so I was comfortable while my son played. Went to the Zombie Safari with co-workers. Was nothing like the video. Paid way to much to shoot little plastic kids guns from Walmart that shot ting gel balls. Guns were not in the turrets as they are in the video and the "zombies" worry more about getting hit with the little pea size balls. Not worth the money at all. read more

My boys (7 and 10) had a blast hunting zombies! They drive you around and give you kid friendly guns that shoot harmless gel "bullets." The zombies don't shoot back and you stay on the huge two story vehicle they drive you around in the whole time If you're like me and don't like hunted houses but looking for something fun / unique to take your kids to - this is a blast! You can hang out before / after for food, face painting, cotton candy, and games! They also do birthday parties and tons of awesome paintball action! read more

A group of us went here because we got bought a deal that was featured on FaceBook. The deal covered up to 18 people and gave us the rental gear (gun and helmet). The drive from Arlington to Forney was around ~50 minutes, and the road to Cousins was a little sketchy (Texas Chainsaw Massacre sketchy). We all had to purchase our own set of paintballs (no split purchase). That was probably the only gripe about the place. Oh and, the only have port-a-potties. Our referee was Freddy and another guy (didn't catch his name), but they were both really friendly. They explained the basics of paintball to the group (mostly first timers), and answered questions. We had the choice of different fields, we played on three fields. Two were just open space with containers (giant spools, barrels, and wooden pallets) which was awesome. The other field was actually a part of the woods. We played attack and defend. Basically, we were split into two teams, attackers and defenders. The goal was for the attackers to get to (tag) the fort on the other side, which the defenders were guarding. That one was probably my favorite game field. There was also camo gear and vest rental (not sure about the cost). There was also other weapons to purchase; smoke grenades (awesome) and paint grenade (alright) but they are a little pricey (smoke grenade was $15 and paint grenade was $7). This is a review regarding their Zombie Safari Hunt they have annually in October. Since they decided to block me from further commenting on other people's negative reviews (and delete my comments on there for that matter) on their Facebook page, I decided to take it to Yelp. Here's an idea, instead of blocking me (and I'm sure others)...offer some kind of consideration like real reputable companies do. I DID say on my Facebook review that they had extremely friendly staff (Obviously that's not the case anymore), but I did say that for driving over an hour from West Fort Worth to participate in this activity was simply not worth the price. I wish I WOULD have read the other negative reviews beforehand. You can pay up to 40 and some odd dollars per person for the VIP/fast pass. The general admission is around $25-30 (however you'll wait in line for 2-3 hours). VIP was less than an hour. Great! They have a bus and an army truck with trailer attached that go through the woods for your paintball zombie experience. Oh but wait, even paying out the butthole for the experience using VIP, you still don't get to choose which vehicle you want to go on. So, my date and I were stuck on the bus (Boo on that.) People who were lucky enough to go on the army truck probably had a slightly better experience. You get on your vehicle and the speaker guy we had was funny and likable...especially toward the kids. Go through for about 5 minutes, shoot 10 zombies tops (mind you, they're actually clown masks, not zombies). Then stop for the halfway point to reload for another 5 minutes (and buy 50 more paintballs for $5. Really?! 5 bucks for only 50??). Then proceed for another 3-4 minutes to shoot another maybe 10 zombies and poof!! The ride is over in less than 15 minutes. Also, more than half the zombies had those police type shields to block you from hitting them. What fun is that?! They did have 2 zombies that ran back and forth across the bus though. One zombie was walking slowly and out of nowhere, busted into doing the cabbage patch dance as I shot at his head. Not going to lie, I got pure amusement and a belly laugh out of that. All in all, this could be a fun event for younger children in the age range of 7-13 years old maybe and if you already live in Dallas. But, as a grown adult? I expected more..a lot more. For that price, I would expect the ride to maybe be at least 25-30 minutes long. I had no idea the ride would be that short. Next time, I'm going to try DFW Zombie Hunt in Roanoke since it's much closer to my house (and cheaper, too). read more

Nice fields however the paint they sold was garbage so only 1 out of every 10 balls actually came out but wouldn't fly straight since the other 9 balls broke and messed up the barrel. I'm willing to pay extra for quality paint if it would have been available. Did a lot of waiting between games. The owner needs to be more intouch with what's going on with his field and customer's. read more

Cousins is not a place you want to go. They do not honor their employees word. We had a large party go. I was told they would get admission, equipment, and paintballs for a certain price. When we got there, they changed the price and it cost more. With it being a 16 th birthday and many people there, we weren't able to go elsewhere. When I called to speak to them the manager hung up on me. Just not a reputable place!!! read more

During the summer on Fridays they have $5 fridays and it's only $5 it's the best to bring your family if you don't want to spend $80 for a box of paint. read more

Visited the Zombie Safari Hunt on Saturday and had a blast! My two boys did the hunt and couldn't stop talking about. Decent snack stand, my daughter had a son cone. We did the general admission and only waited a little over an hour to play. The staff running around finding the players were so nice! Had a 16th birthday party for my grandson. They all had a great time. I was a bit surprised at the cost of the additional paintballs not covered by the initial cost of the party. At $35 per player (minimum 10 players), the host highly recommended that I purchase 2 more boxes of paintballs. Cost for a box of 2000 paintballs was $98.01!!!! Wow! The party played in 3 different fields. Do the math and you will see that one box per playing field will be required for a party of 10. A highly expensive birthday party but well worth it to see the joy in my party's faces. NOTE: Nowhere in Cousin's website does it state the cost of the paintballs ($98.01 with tax for 2000 paintballs). Customers are at their mercy because at that point, there is NO choice but to pay what they are asking for. Just beware. read more

Not a good experience. Paintball is not an inexpensive hobby. This place is not worth the money. The courses are short and more importantly the staff doesn't work to make sure you're having fun. My group and I got steam rolled for 5 games. We asked to swap up teams or something, the other team of course declined. We left after that and all they could say was, I hope you had fun anyways. STOP DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!! I say this because I purchased a package from my job at a discounted price. I called cousins paintball to make reservations for me and my group to play paintball. On the brochure were I brought my tickets from it says this location will give us free air and equipment. So this means the only thing I have to pay for when I come to the paintball field is just the paintballs. I get there and they have super young staff that doesn't know anything and told me I had to pay for air and paintballs and the only way I didn't have to pay for air is if I bought the highest package which was $50 and then I could share it with my group but that means we will only get about 100 paintballs A piece. What type of fun is that??? So when I asked her ( the 12 year old looking manger) why does it say on the brochure that we get free air she says that we don't honor that. That's false advertising why would you put free air on a brochure and then when people get here it's an extra 30 on top of 10 dollars for air , and that's each person. And to put the icing on the cake I drove all the way from north Arlington to forney just to turn around. There are plenty of paintball fields please do not go here they will try to get you for your money. read more

I would rather go to Official Paintball in Forney. The staff was very rude with their smart mouths. And not very informative during the safety lessons. Our group was full of new players and children, everyone was very lost throughout the first few games. Also the three staff members that were there for safety were too busy on their phones and videoing each other anytime help was needed. read more

I had a terrible experience here. I talked to someone on the phone and asked if I could bring paint from the field I work at and was told it wouldn't be a problem, then at the field got yelled at for having "Outside non-biodegradable paint." Our ref (Also the owner) Jed wasn't really reffing. Whenever I called for a paint check he would stay in the same spot and look at the guy for a second then say he was still in. During one game I didn't see him ever look up from his phone. Prices are also ridiculous. $100 for a case of paint? I won't be back. Official Paintball is a much better field. read more
