One of his Handy Men, Andrew, came out within the next 3 days and ended up doing the work. A job I feared would take 4-5 hours was done in less than 1 hour because Andrew figured out how to fix the issue by getting creative. His fix not only saved time but also money. He worked efficiently and did not lollygag just to run up the hourly bill. So grateful to find a great company with great employees who say what they mean, show up to your home on time and get the job done efficiently. They were communicative and easy to reach, so I was very happy in the beginning with the service. Then they rescheduled three times. Once because they told me 4 PM the first time, but later came back around to say they want to come in earlier on another day because it gets dark around 4ish. Okay, I understand. Then after rescheduling for an earlier time on another day, they say they are running late on that day because they haven't finished up at another client's home so we reschedule for a later time on the same day. We keep going back and forth on when they can arrive and I'm pretty irked because my mom is already on the way to the empty home to open the doors for them and my mom doesn't live close to the property. Then we cancel for that day because it's just taking too long for them to finish up the other home. Finally the third appointment they keep. Initially my mom told me they did a good job and how she was satisfied with their work. They spent about 3-4 hours on a 1675 sq foot house so I thought "wow, they must have really scrubbed down that house!" Nope. I moved in and started noticing things that should be clean or cleaner. For example, all the cabinet knobs in the kitchen were dirty, the oven was left with oil stains, the kitchen countertops still had food stains from the previous tenants, the bathrooms and toilets looked like they weren't touched, the bedroom and bathroom doors had grime and regular living stains. Blech. I don't have the most experience with hiring move in/move out cleaners, but I do have a lottttt of experiencing renting apartments and I'd say this is not a move in/move out kinda clean. A move in/move out clean shouldn't have the new tenant scrubbing and cleaning stuff the hired cleaners left behind. It should feel like you're the first person to ever live in that home (clean-wise). I've sat on my thoughts about their work for a week because I thought maybe I'm being too critical or I'm stressed from the move, but no. I just lifted like three layers of dirt from the shower and tub of the master and second bathroom of this home. A few days ago I scrubbed down all the dirt left in the kitchen appliances. I'm tired of cleaning and pretty irritated that I have to do so much work after paying for this service. All in all, one star for being easy to communicate with and one star because my mom likes them. Minus three stars because this is not a move in/move out service. They are more of a wipe down, tidy up service.
