Awesome place, every time I'm in town for business we go here and eat. They have a lot of selections. Great service.

Well I've eaten here a few times and it's been mediocre and sometimes good (fried rice is hard to mess up) for the most part but today my chicken looked and tasted disgusting. I usually wouldn't go off and give a small business a bad review but when I told my waitress about my nasty kung pao she said well you can come back and tell the owner June 30th lol. Sadly it wasnt a joke . So the owner goes out of town and no ones in charge. Hope your meal is better then mine. The chicken should be avoided unless you like rubbery dark meat that smells and taste funky. If it ever gets busy in there , good luck ! You'll sit around and wait until you make a move. Its a small town and now i wont be eating thai anymore . Deridders Thai Is way better. Another reason to leave town. read more

In town for business and stopped for dinner. We ordered chicken pad Thai and the honey glazed duck with sticky rice. Pad Tai noodles were ok,. They tasted bland and the chicken tasted as if it was reheated. The duck was delicious! The sticky rice was dry and hard. Had to send it back. Wait staff was very nice. read more

Insanely good. I've been to Thailand twice and this is the closest to the food there of any Thai place I've been to in the US.

Decent food and large portions. Meats are well flavored, and sauces are good. The vegetables were a little funky to my taste, but my companion was very happy with everything she had. Lights are a little too bright, and prices are too high for a place that looks like diner that's seem better days. Service is very fast but unenthusiastic. read more

Great Thai in Leesville! I ate here a couple of times, having the Panang curry and the pad kee mao (drunken noodles). Both were excellent and the Thai hot will definitely get your motor running, so err on the side of caution. The location is a that of a hotel restaurant and the storefront parking a little limited, but they clearly enjoy regular clientele. The waitress was friendly and reasonably knowledgeable. This is the only place you can get this type of meal in town. The bamboo shoots are always crunch and delicious for my pad Thai. Love it!

I just ate here tonight. This is, hands down, the best Thai food that I have had since I spent a week in Thailand two years ago. Food quality is already touched on in some other reviews; and I concur with all of them. A+ on taste, authenticity and presentation. The atmosphere is very relaxed. I've lived and traveled all over the country--NYC, DC, Philly, West Coast, down South--you name it. And no other Thai eatery I've been to, from the boutique and super expensive to the mom and pop dive, has ever come close to the quality at Thadapetch. This is possibly one of the only authentic Thai food restuarants I've ever been to. I can think of virtually no misses; perhaps the only drawback is that the restaurant itself is pretty low key, but then again, it is reasonably priced and in LEESVILLE. A visit to Thadapetch is always a must when I head back to ol'Loosiana for the requisite parental visit. read more

Worst Thai I've ever had. The stir fry wasn't even cooked together. Tough, old chicken with some undercooked broccoli and huge chunks of cabbage that they poured the sauce over. Pad Thai was equally uninspiring. Also, $24 for lunch with no drinks or apps is way too much. read more

I had the thai chicken fried rice with no tomato. It was pretty good. I also tried there iced coffee, didn't really like the taste of the coffee, it tasted very burned. I have had thai iced coffee before and it never tasted that way anywhere else I've been. I would come back here for the food. People are friendly and polite. read more

Had the lunch buffet twice. Its not the best, but its a buffet and its good. You get the chance to try all the dishes you like without having to order each one individually and the price is right. The Thai Iced Tea is very good also... and in a large glass. read more

LOVE. Pad Kee Mao is some of the best I've ever had, and I discovered the deliciousness of Yum Nuer here. This is the only place I've ever had Thai that reminded me of the food I had while in Thailand. Plus, the staff is great, always happy to suggest new dishes. YUM. I highly recommend the drunken noodles and mango sticky rice. A co-worker got one of the noodle soups and found it a bit bland, but everything I had was amazing. Spicy peppers, strong thai-basil, and a sauce that was the right balance of sweet and salty. The menu is pretty varied, even includes some more traditionally type chinese dishes for those who don't love coconut or curry, and the prices are reasonable. This place is phenomenal. They don't mess around with the spice tho, so beware. The food is amazing. I had the cashew chicken and it was the best. Perfect cuts, tender, perfectly seasoned. Delicious. It's a dump. A dump with fantastic Thai food. Loved it, will be going back. If you like curry then don't mess with the rest of the menu. American hot requires Thai iced tea or stick with medium. Thai hot will probably set fire to blacktop. read more

AMAZING!!! Don't hesitate to try this place - even though it looks like a humble low-key place. The owner is very personable and loves getting to know his customers. He is great at recommending food items too! *I get stationed all over the place. And in Leesville the variety of food items offered are slim. This place is even better than ANY of the "asian" food resteraunts around! (And DON'T go to Hana's Japanese Steakhouse - they have cockroaches in their food). Thadapetch is outstanding. They know what their customers want, and treat them right! In fact....I'm ordering food there tonight and bringing it back to the fam! call me crazy but i can not relate to everyone's reviews i am from a big city and have had great thai food so i hold my standards high but i was very disappointed with service, atmosphere and food! On Friday, 5 August 2016 I ordered carry out lunch from here. I asked the owner, who answered the call if I could order from the Chef's Specialty menu during lunch and he replied yes. I order Thai Barbeque chicken which was dry and only had one piece of broccoli and one slice of carrot. But what was worse, was to be over charged and he knew it and said nothing. I sent my daughter to pickup the order with my debit card and after lunch I asked her for the receipt. The barbeque chicken was $10.99 but she paid $14.75. I called the restaurant and the owner answered, I told him that I had ordered Thai Barbeque chicken earlier, he said that he remembered the order; and informed him that I had asked him if it was $10.99 and he replied yes.... but my debit card was charged $14.75. His reply was yes, that he had accidentally pressed $12.99 when he rang-up the order. I replied "really, and you said nothing?" he replied that it was "okay" and if I wanted the $2 that I could come and get it; if not it was ok. WHO SAYS SOMETHING LIKE "THAT!" This isn't the first time that this happened and I had to correct him about it then. But, now it seems as if it's a routine for him to overcharge patrons, I wonder how many others trusted him and was over charged? read more

To me, this is the most delicious place to eat in Leesville. The curries are my favorite things on the menu (especially with seafood), but the pad thai, spring rolls, various soups, etc. are also yummy. The service is always friendly; it's a family establishsment. There isn't much in the way of ambience, but what is lacking there is made up for in great Thai food. One of the few places I would take out of town guests to eat in town. read more
