Amazing Thai Food! I've been here a good amount of times, and the food is consistently delicious! I almost always get the "Beef Pad See Ew," Medium Spicy, and it comes out great every time. The restaurant is owned and ran by a Thai Family. The quality of service and delicious food are truly a blessing for the Fort Polk area. The restaurant has a casual and peaceful vibe. Don't forget to add Thai Tea to your order, it's amazing as well!

This has become my sons favorite restaurant. When my husband was stationed at Polk, we would go to Thad a petch and loved it so much! We introduced it to our son later and now it's his favorite place. My husband always gets the Pad Thai. We have tried Pad Thai at many many other restaurants and this one is our favorite. The food is seasoned based on spice level you like. I love mine Hot and they do such a good job! Today I tried the Tom Yum soup and the red curry. Both were amazing but the Tom Yum soup was probably my favorite thing I've had there. It was mad with flavorful ingredients unlike anything I've ever had. The red curry was spicy and had lots of fresh yummy vegetables. We will of course be back but today really stood out because I decided to try something new.

I ordered the Thai Fried rice and added shrimp. It was good. And the portion was very good. I couldn't eat it all and got to take some to go for later. The service was great and the food came out hot and fast. The inside was nice and clean. If you're looking for Thai in the area, I recommend

If you are looking for good authentic Thai food look no further. I drive by this place daily on my way to work but never stopped by because it looks a little beat up from the outside but after reading all the positive reviews on Yelp and hearing all the raves about this place from local people around town I knew I had to check this place out and I'm so glad I did. This is a family run husband and wife team and their kids also help out as well. It's outdated on the inside but the food is very good and the owners are friendly. My fiancé and I ordered the vegetarian curry puffs and the vegetarian eggrolls as apps. Eggrolls were meh, not impressive a little bland but the curry puffs were flavorful and had a nice kick to it. For entrees he ordered the seafood pad Thai and I had the yellow curry with tofu. We both enjoyed our meals. Both entrees were flavorful with a good kick and portion sizes were big. There are not many places with vegetarian options in leesville and tha da petch has plenty of them. There's something here for everyone whether you're a meat lover, seafood lover, vegetarian. Definitely will be coming back soon.

My uncle and I were in town, we have family here, and wanted to check this spot out. Leesville doesn't have a ton of restaurant options and the ones they do have are ehhh. I've only really eaten at Starlite Grill and I love that place; but we wanted to venture out this visit. This place is in the strip as a motel. When you walk in; it's like any other family owned Asian restaurant. The man who waited on us I assume owns the place. He was very friendly and attentive. This place has a huge party room in the back where the bathrooms are. I hope they get busy for events. The menu is very large, and being the only Thai restaurant in the area I like that they have lots to offer. The beef jerky was good, tad salty than I normally like it, but still good. The seafood salad I ordered was okay. Huge size, decent amount of seafood, but the sauce wasn't giving me normal Thai vibes when it came to flavor. It was giving me more like Mexican shrimp cocktail sauce vibes. Very tomato/ketchup taste than the normal Thai flavors I'm used to. I ordered the number 48. PAD PED TA-LAY, it's a seafood combination stir fry. It was delicious! I got the salad and this dish Thai hot and well this one was the only one that delivered the heat. The flavors were amazing and it just made my belly happy! We also ordered the Thai Teas which were good, but a tad over sugared if that's possible. I definitely will keep this on my list when I come back to Leesville.

This place is a diamond in the rough. Considering Leesville can be a complete food desert, this is my oasis. Thai food is my favorite type of ethnic food, and Thadapetch delivers. The Tom Yum soup is the best I've ever had, and it is absolutely refreshing. Sometimes I get it just for the broth when I have a sinus infection. It's that good. I could go on forever about that damn Tom yum soup. The Taro egg rolls are amazing. I've had some pretty good pad Thai before...but the pad Thai here isn't terrible. If you're really jonesing for some pad Thai, the pad Thai at Thadapetch will satisfy your craving. Pad woonsen is really good also. My boyfriend has tried many of their stir fries, and curry dishes and liked all of them. I really haven't heard anyone say anything bad about this restaurant or their service before. Wow! this place is so unexpectedly delicious. resturaunt decor/location: it's connected to a sleazy looking motel in the middle of Leesville off 171. it's a little run down but not dirty. the food: OMG the food is so good. the menu is extensive and looks authentic. Stopped in for a quick late lunch after seeing so many positive reviews on Yelp. Yellow curry with chicken, potatoes, and carrots spooned over rice noodles will change your life. Best meal I've had in Leesville in the last 5 days. Service was prompt and courteous, place is very clean. Will be back every day before I leave, much better than the stuff I usually eat when I'm stuck in a hotel for a week. read more

Located near Ft Polk, this dinning establishment is a great place to eat if you like Thai food. I got thai iced tea and mild drunken noodles with tofu. The fried seafood rice also was delicious. Without a doubt, the best Thai food you will find in Leesville. Sure, there may not be many other options, but Tha Da Petch will not disappoint. The cooking is authentic, quick and hot (when required). The cook will spice the food to order. And "Thai Hot" truly is.... Pricing is as expected for Leesville. Very casual atmosphere. Not the best Thai food. I've tasted Thai food from different countries made by Thai people and this wasn't the best. I've tried the papaya salad, tom yum soup, fried rice, flaming beef, and Thai tea. First time here and not coming back. Food doesn't taste clean and fresh. read more

First time I enjoyed this place was October 2017. Then again in January 2018 with some of the fellow Civil Affairs Soldiers. Quality of the food is great and portion size exceeds the price!! Surprisingly authentic Thai food for such a small town. The ingredients are fresh, quickly and well prepared, and the service is spectacular. The young lady who manages the place, also waits all the tables and apparently does the books. This family owned and operated restaurant is an absolute jewel for a town this size and I'd put them up against anything I've had this side of Phuket. I've had most of the menu and I'd recommend all of it! read more

The food is always great here 5 stars. The kung poa is my fave Atmosphere has room for improvement. Furnature needs improvement. The entertainment piece is the family's kid who plays at one of the tables with hot wheels, crossfire, or watches you tube videos. I don't mind its just something to add. If you see him there post about it. He will be famous. read more

I took Tamaris J.'s advice and went to the Thadapetch with tw friends while staying in Leesville. This place is truely phenominal!! We walked in and were greeted by Sam the owner who was our server, I told him our expectations were high because of the YELP reviews. He has never heard of YELP and said he didnt get on the internet. I showed him the reviews on my Iphone and he said it made him happy! Well after eating here we were all happy too! I had the #32 Kung Pao Chicken with medium spice. Unbelievable!! My buddies had #37 Gaeng Ka-Ree and #60 Pad Ke-Mao and we all split #15 soup Tom Kha Ta-Lay. WOW!! We will be returning many times before leaving Leesville. How much Thai can be to much??? Keep it up Sam! read more

best restaurant in Leesville. Hana sucks horrendously (unless you like high BP from everything being smothered in soy sauce). This place offers some of the best thai food in LA. Get the green curry with chicken and shrimp (cooked in real coconut milk). The atmosphere is extremely family friendly and the service is top notch. Plenty of options for picky eaters (pad thai, chicken satay, spring rolls) read more

This place was an unexpected find in Leesville. I initially had reservations about eating Thai food here, but I'm glad I tried it out. I've had several of their dishes and each one was amazing. How could Thai get any better? The owner's wife is a trained chef from Thailand. The owner from Laos. Best coconut shrimp soup. Fried snapper delectable. Desserts extraordinary. Try the sticky mango rice, you will not regret it. Run to this place, do not hesitate. If you are in doubt of what to order, ask Sam, the owner, he is always ready to recommend something outstanding, although I have not tried anything from Thadapetch that is any less. read more

In town for business and stopped for dinner. We ordered chicken pad Thai and the honey glazed duck with sticky rice. Pad Tai noodles were ok,. They tasted bland and the chicken tasted as if it was reheated. The duck was delicious! The sticky rice was dry and hard. Had to send it back. Wait staff was very nice. read more

Authentic as I've seen anywhere. I usually get the papaya salad. It's solid. Their heat levels are pretty inconsistent though. There are days when 'hot' is comfortably warm and others when hot melts metal. The sticky rice helps put out the fire. read more

The takeout presentation was well done, and everything held up nicely by the time I got back to my hotel (just a short drive away). The Pad Kee Mao had good flavor and didn't disappoint, though it was a bit drier than I prefer. The papaya salad and egg rolls were both fresh and enjoyable. Service was friendly, and the dining area appeared clean and inviting. I'd return and would simply request extra sauce next time. Looking forward to trying more from their menu.

Both the duck curry and green curry had lots of tender meat and the sauce was rich and spicy. The fried rice portion size was huge and it was delicious, with a lovely hint of smokiness from being cooked at high heat. The garden roll (think spring roll) was full of crisp veggies and the peanut sauce was outstanding. Our server didn't seem very happy, but she was efficient. The decor was nice but some of the furnishings were a bit worn. We would definitely return if in the area.
