One example: my husband was having a hard time cutting the over-sized subway tiles because of the paper backing used to give it color. This type of tile needs a special tile cutter and not the one that's usually used for ceramic tiles. Rather than buy the expensive tile cutter for a small project, my husband decided to call Affordable Glass and asked them if they could to it. They immediately said yes but asked to see the tiles first. He took it to their shop and they managed to cut a few of them at a reasonable price. I disagreed and ask for his insurance information, which he refused. He began to get agressive and threatening so I walked toward my car to retrieve pepper spray if needed. He began yelling that I had a gun and the I threatened him with a gun, then went inside the store and began yelling. He said he was calling the police, which I said was fine. He pretended to make a call and when I was not looking got in his truck and drove away. I would never trust someone who behaves like this in my home. He refused to take responsibilty for damaging my car, which I am sure would happen if he damaged items in someones home. I also noticed that his business has no physical address, so good luck finding him to resolve an issue. I tried contacting him on his website to resolve the damage to my car with no response.
