First time here. Maybe it was their off day... the place had a few people for a late afternoon but felt dead. I was in the neighborhood for something different than regular Italian or Mexican. So this place seems to fit the bill. Their tag like is Ramen and Fusion. But, their Menu is mostly Chinese food with some Japanese inspired food and ramen. The menu is extensive. Actually it was my first time anywhere there are two types of Tonkotsu ramen - shio (clear broth) or shoyu (soy sauce or dark sauce). The noodles were slightly undercooked, and clumped together in tue bowl. I like salty food but I thought the broth was way too salty. I don't mean to nit pick, but the subtle things matter in ramen. Anyways, it was a nice decor and atmosphere in a small strip by Douglas Pike. If you are not paying attention, you may miss the sign. Since this place is the only ramen place within 20 minute drive, so I am glad it was at least was an acceptable choice for ramen.

Very disappointing experience. There were empty seats when we arrived, but no one cleaned them, so we had to wait at the door for a long time. During the meal, a female server actually took my used napkin to wipe her own hands and left it on the table, which was extremely unhygienic. She also dropped the bill on our table without saying anything while we were still eating, clearly trying to rush us. On top of that, she removed our plates before we finished, without asking. Taste ok at first, but very rude and unprofessional service. Would not come back anymore

This Japanese restaurant belies its nondescript location between a gas station and a Dunkin Donuts but don't let its modest appearance put you off - It's terrific! There's seating at the sushi bar and a number of tables as well as outdoor seating if the weather is clement. Service is friendly and attentive. We started off with some delicious pan-fried (and thankfully not deep-fried) gyoza with crisped-up skin and tasty pork filling; as well as a deliciously decadent salt-broiled bone marrow served with toast slices and frisée greens. My wife had a salmon and tuna poke bowl and she loved it cuz it was full of fresh greens and wasn't piled upon a super-big mound of rice. The accompanying yuzu sauce went perfectly with the bowl. My daughter and I both had the shio tonkatsu ramen ... wow. Deeply flavorful and rich broth with a hint of smokiness; fatty and unctuous slices of generously cut cha siu; thin straight noodles that soaked up the broth very well. The proprietor told me everything is prepared on -site and the broth takes 12 hours to make. It's worth it. And well worth the visit.

Wouldn't go back again tuna has a weird shine to it. Not the skin. I've been eating sushi for more than 10 years and never seen that with a roll. Lettuce was not fresh. Kani salad missing masago. Hoping I don't get sick. Did not eat tuna avocado roll.

What a delightful menu and staff! We ordered way too much food, only took pictures of a few items. Everything was delicious, fresh and quickly made to order. Absolutely coming back again! Ramen was full of flavor, sushi was fresh and so good also!

Quick and friendly service and comfortable seating and ambiance. Vietnamese Beef ramen, Naughty Girl roll, edamame, scallion pancakes, pork dumplings, and pork belly roll were all fresh and delicious. Each item had its own depth and flavor.

    Steak and chicken Hibachi combo

I ordered the hibachi combo today.... The steak and chicken were SO dry, rough and chewy. My jaw hurts! NO FLAVOR at alll. No seasoning, no garlic... not a single flavor. 28 dollars down the drain!!

First visit to this restaurant when I was in the mood for a good bowl of noodle soup. This place did not disappoint. I got the Vietnamese Braised Beef Soup and a Specialty sushi roll. It was all fantastic and fresh. Staff were super friendly.

Great sushi bowls, there lunch specials are pretty good if you're really craving sushi. But there are far better options than this spot for sushi. The service is okay nothing special. It's always slow in there which isn't a bad thing sometimes if you want to be at peace somewhere and enjoy a bowl of soup. Ramen is also subpar and there are far better choices just a short drive away.

Been to this little spot on several occasions. The sushi is what drew me in, but several friends suggested I come back for the ramen. The sushi was good. Standard. That ramen though! Came back and tried it one time...hooked me!! The proteins are so good. Tender and stand alone before you even add the broth. It is clear they put a lot of effort into the food and layer the flavors. That broth though! Each selections offers a different style broth that is a perfect supplement to the bowl you choose. Lastly, the workers are so friendly! They accommodate and are on top of things from order to eat. Def recommend a multiple visit to this one! Bon appetite!

My friend originally wanted the Green Curry Ramen, but it was out of stock, so they tried the Spicy Sesame Ramen instead. It was decent, though not particularly memorable. We also shared the cabbage salad, which was crisp and tangy--a definite highlight. If you're looking for ramen that's very traditional or bold in flavor, this might not fully hit the mark, but there are some tasty options to try. Service: Our waitress was friendly and polite, though we noticed she didn't check in as often as we might have hoped. We did have to go to the bar at one point to request the bill, but overall, she was pleasant. Ambiance: The restaurant is cozy and intimate. There's a sign and curtain near the entrance that says "wait to be seated," which was a little confusing at first, but a regular customer kindly guided us around it. Inside, the seating is a mix of a long bar and smaller two-tops along the walls, so it works best for smaller groups rather than large parties.

We were sadly in a rush and had to be out by a certain time to catch a show, and our server understood the assignment and got us out on the tight schedule we needed. I'm just sad I had to slurp down my soup so quickly as it was absolutely DELICIOUS! I ordered the Snow Mountain Ramen - the creamy tofu broth is unlike anything I've had and was so so unique and delicious. I thought about it for at least a week straight after eating it and am still dying to go back to get more. I also got the Iced Rose Matcha drink - $10 felt too pricy for this but I wanted a fun drink and a little caffeine kick - and again the flavors were unique and tasty. Both my friend and I happened to see someone we knew here - it's definitely a popular spot! It was packed on a Saturday night but it was still pretty quick for us to get a table for 2. Being a downtown city restaurant, the tables feel a bit cramped and I was a little too close to the table next to me for comfort - claustrophobics beware (honestly the soup is worth it though!!) Parking is pretty easy in the lot, although Holy crap they need to fix the potholes / harsh drop-off where it meets the street, and it still was not fully plowed many weeks after the big snowstorm (it's a shared lot so not a Y Noodle specific issue, but just saying). The only thing that was unpleasant were the bathrooms - I get it was a busy weekend night, but they reeked of a litter box the second you stepped in, the floor was dirty and very wet with unknown substances, and the Dyson hand dryer is at such a weird, too high level on the wall that it sprayed water in my face. Everything else was a dream, can't wait to go back! Hopefully the bathrooms were just a fluke.

I've seen on social media that people complained about the new location having mainly street parking - we both found parking easily on the street - quit yer b*tchin' people lol. Besides I believe they have a lot behind the restaurant that we didn't have to use but it's there if needed. We were the only ones there when we first walked in but more patrons came in as the night went on. Made our way to the bar and orders were flowing - one warning if you're sitting at the bar, it is an open kitchen so there will be alot of aromas flowing through and may get on your clothes but really it'll just remind you of how good the food was. Also, the barstools are not the most comfy - metal stools with no backing so after 2.5 hours, we were feeling a bit achy. We ordered way more than we should've but everything just looked so good! We got the croquettes (our absolute fave), the cauliflower, the pizza du jour (I think it had spinach, pepperoni, ricotta and garlic) and for entrees we got the fish tacos and the Orecchiette. Not one complaint - everything was divine. Croquettes were melty, smoky little nuggets of heaven and our favorites bites of the night. The pizza had a great balance of flavors and the crust was thin and crispy. We were so full but had a few bites of the fish tacos and pasta - the fish was cooked to perfection and the aioli it came with topped it perfectly. Pasta was different - had a scallion cream sauce that was a nice change up from your typical Alfredo. Don't sleep on this place - the street is busy being on a main road but so well worth the visit, I didn't catch our bartender's name but he and a few other servers were super personable and friendly - gave us just enough time in between meals and personal space to not hover. Absolutely will return!
