The best pad Thai I've ever had! We only go here. They are so friendly. We drive all the way from Braintree it's that good.

If you're in Whitman, MA or close by, this is a great option for Thai food! The menu is varied, so there's something for eveyrone (vegans too!) A lot of the noodle and rice options (what I usually get) are customizable, so you can order it with just veggies, chicken, beef, or tofu. The only thing that's not super great about the food is the size of the appetizers-- they are small. Otherwise, food There's usually on street parking right in front or nearby. The place is never packed, as I believe it's a hidden gem. I usually order out, but have dined in a couple of times. I always receive exceptional service either way. This restaurant seemed to thrive on their take out business as it was empty on a Saturday night but the counter was loaded with packed bags ready to go. We were greeted immediately and sat by one waiter who was tending the entire front of the house by himself. Service was great! He promptly brought us water without us asking, our orders went smoothly and he checked in on us during our meal. Thai tea was delicious (we even ordered another to go after our meal), crab ragoons were fried to the perfect crisp with a generous amount of filling, curry portion was huge and the sauce on the duck cho chee was to die for! Doesn't look like they'd have the best fresh and flavorful thai food, looking from the outside but LET ME TELL YOU- they do. Their yellow curry is so yum, spicy and creamy with fresh veggies and pineapple. Pad thai comes with both chicken and shrimp, and the basil fried rice is unreal. I've only gotten take out, but the staff is always extremely polite, and the service is prompt. Great Authentic Thai and great service to boot! vWe were looking for a decent place while driving through Whitman, and stumbled on excellence. It was early so onlt 2-3 tables were in use though the take out business was already picking up. Our elegant hostess seated us a table by the window. We started with an appetizer of steamed shumai, which proved to be freshly steamed, silky soft pillows of delicious, artfully seasoned shrimp and vegetable. Our entrees, Shrimp Pad Thai for me and Chicken Pad See Ew for my wife, were nothing short of perfection. The portions were generous, enough for me to enjoy the leftovers for luch the next day. Throughout the meal, the service was attentive but unobtrusive. I hate it when the server interrupts every five minutes 'offering' to pour more water or tea; just do it already! and that's just what our server did! This place is fantastic. I've been here an innumerable amount of times and have never really been dissatisfied. It's comparable and even better than most esteemed Thai restaurants in Boston. The food is always set at a reasonable price, especially for the portion sizes and is all made to order, yet comes out extremely fast. The older lady that works at the front is extremely sweet and seems to always be genuinely smiling. The atmosphere is nice and calming, with the dark tones sprinkled with East Asian artistry and decor. Going here, I'd recommend just about anything on the menu. Of course the pad Thai is great, as well as the curries and pineapple noodle or rice, but anything else is just as worthwhile. I've been getting the shrimp massaman curry lately, which is a little spicy and served with jasmine rice, and it's SO GOOD. My husband's go-to is the ginger chicken. My 9- and 7-year-old kids are obsessed with chicken pad see ew. We normally get satay chicken skewers and vegetable spring roll appetizers too. This place is really good. Went there for the first time today, 1/17/2014. Got a spring roll to share. Nothing special there. Ur regular Asian store freezer version of vege egg rolls. Then came the mains, that is when things start going great. Hubby n I ordered two dishes to share. Pad kee Mao, the stir fried flat noodle dish with seafood, extra spicy came out really good. Portion was noticeably smaller than Wild ginger in Norwell but the flavor was right n not overly sweet like most places. Having said that, we still bring home leftovers from our plate. Seafood was really nice n fresh in the noodle dish. Next, came the Chilli duck. At $14.95, at first I thought it was over priced when reading it on the menu till I saw the dish itself. Large portion of boneless duck breast, very well seasoned, fried to crispy perfection in a not overly sweet sauce. Will try tamarind duck next. Flavor wise, 5 stars. Definitely worth coming back for more. Way better than Chatta Box in Bridgewater. The place is clean, big plus. We went there at 6:30pm, and the place was empty by 7:30. Honestly so good. Everything is portioned just right, flavored just so, and presented in one of the most beautiful, yet simple ways you could possibly imagine. The owner is so courteous and considerate; and goes out of his way to ensure all his guests are well taken-care-of. I love, love love the crispy pad Thai, the Siam rice, and many other dishes on the menu (be sure to check out their incredible soups and appetizers--literally everything is a winner!). The Thai iced tea is legendary. This is a sweet little spot you wouldn't expect in a small town, as another reviewer mentioned--but honestly people should come from all over to experience the food here. It's amazing! Let me preface this by saying after living in Thailand for a number of years finding local Thai restaurants is quite difficult. Unfortunately this is another forgettable Thai place that compromises authenticity and flavor for profit and what they believe American's want. First of all if your dish has carrots, broccoli, or celery in it then 99% chance it is in no way related to an actual dish from the country. I am tired of ordering Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Stir-Fried Noodles) only to find them loaded with carrots and not spicy! The whole point of the dish is to be spicy. read more

I was surprised at how good this Thai food was considering Whitman is a small little town. Great crab rangoon! Best I've had in a while. Pad thai is delicious as well. They have great vegetarian options (the chinese food place down the street does not offer Tofu). This place has a good assortment of tofu options if you enjoy that kind of meal. I personally liked the tofu salad wrap appetizer. The only thing that could make this place better is if they got their liquor license and could make Scorpion bowls ;) All in all, A+ read more
