I've ordered pho here multiple times and it's great. Good broth and is always something I order when I'm not feeling well. The spring rolls are also really good and I love the fish sauce to dip the rolls in. I usually get this delivered, and I once stopped in to pick up and was shocked at the restaurant. Terrible experience. Ordered via DoorDash as it was a cold night so I didn't want to drive out to get the food myself. Delivery was excellent, however, they had run out of a couple items at the restaurant and instead of refunding, they replaced the item for something unwanted. We did the math, and sure enough, it was less than the total value of the original order. They also included in a random small salad box that had 1 piece of lettuce and a few shredded carrot pieces with fish sauce in it. What was that about? They say food tastes better when you're hungry(and I was. I haven't eaten all day and this order got to my house at 7PM) but boy, that did not even apply. Don't even get me started on the pho. The noodles seemed like they had a weird burnt charcoal scent and flavor infused into them and the broth was not only plain, the flavor was not authentic nor good. We also got the bahn mi. This must be a sandwich to just fill the stomach because it was definitely not good for flavor nor fillings. It had 1 layer of the Vietnamese sausage on it with some sad amount of vegetables. The proportions were so badly put together when you take a bite you feel like you're just eating just a baguette. We got desserts but one of the items were the ones they didn't have, the other was the tofu dessert. It was only decent. I have been to 15+ different pho places throughout the twin cities, and I would not recommend this place for the pho nor banh mi. I've been here in the past when the food was ok, but it's been a few months and I'm not sure if it's under new management or what, but the quality has changed and the food is definitely not worth spending your hard earned dollars for. If you just want to fill your stomach up, not care for the authentic flavors, and don't mind spending money on something not worth it then this is your spot! I definitely won't be back. read more

We've ordered from here and stopped and dined in probably 4-5 times since the first time we ordered for pickup. Unfortunately with each experience we've ended up disappointed for various reasons. Dining in we asked the woman working the counter and waiting tables if we could get more than the one small slice of lime and she brought us napkins and then nothing else. We waited for 5+ minutes before finally asking again, every time we ask for spicy level 10 or so we are left wanting more spice. Their level 10 is a 4 on our scale. read more

Definitely setup to be more of a take out operation but both indoor and outdoor seating is available. However, the review lost one star because the booth I sat at could have been cleaned more carefully after the previous customer. First time to Pho Everest, and we only did appetizers to go. We had 2 kinds of spring rolls (highly recommend the crispy pork ones. But chicken was also tasty). They are huge and one of them makes for a delicious nice light lunch full of veggies, noodles and meat. Also had the fried potstickers which the kids devoured quickly. I think next time we'll try the steamed ones for variety. But the highlight was probably the pork and/or chicken egg rolls. Wonderfully light and crisp- not heavy like most Chinese egg rolls. They also reheat to be nice and crispy in an air fryer. I was the only one there as I was there at off-hours, but got a chance to interact with the owners who are absolutely delightful. Best food I've ever had. I ordered the tofu pho the first time and was completely blown away. Their brown sugar milk tea is to die for literally, I'm craving it every day. The second time I ordered the tofu lo mein medium spicy. When I tell you I ate the entire container in one sitting. It was the best lo mein I have ever had from anywhere. We did a DoorDash and the worker forgot to give the dasher our bubble tea, so the worker brought it to us! I was seriously blown away by the customer service. I will definitely become a regular here. I like Pho Everest but their food is not super consistent. I usually order the pad thai with crab & shrimp and it's typically pretty good. However, sometimes the food just isn't up to par with other times. I'm not sure what it is but it just doesn't seem like they are using the same recipe from time to time. As mentioned by a fellow yelper I am "one of those people who are into pho" and can tell the difference between good and bad. The pho here is pretty bland. At first whiff, the cinnamon note of the pho was spot on, however after the first bite the taste of the broth was very one dimensional. A perfect broth is extremely complex in flavor. This place isn't too bad if I need to get my pho fix without having to drive to the Pho Mecca that is Eat Street. As I chatted with the owner, he had suggested I try their bun as their meat is grilled per order and not microwaved. I might take him up on that suggestion later and grab one of those tasty iced coffee I saw in the fridge as well. At first glance they look like they barely have any coffee in them, but don't let that fool you! In Vietnam, coffee is made using a baby French press where a small amount of water slowly drips through densely packed grounds and added to sweetened condensed milk rendering an intensely strong flavor. I'd love to see anyone drink that straight without the addition of the ice.Ha! I did order a banh mi to go to see if it would compare to my favorite banh mi at Lu's sandwiches, but sadly it did not. The bread did not have the light airy crunch that defines a good banh mi and it also lacked the cucumbers and jalapeños for toppings. The meat was plentiful and alright. Good try Lakeville, but I think I'll be making that drive to Minneapolis for the real deal. Maybe I'll stop by again if I'm too lazy to drive. read more

Good service and Pho was pretty good. We ordered Pho (with everything) and the spring rolls. Yes, agree with others that the broth could have been a little stronger like other shops on Eat Street, but I still like the fact that they have all the fixing to make it better to your tastebuds. Delicious! We ordered two of the shrimp springs rolls...one would have been plenty! I had the seafood pho and my bf had the special pho. The portions were huge! It came with a plate full of fresh bean sprouts, herbs, and jalepenos. The broth was a bit bland, but I like things spicy so I just added some chili sauce. Plenty of food and decently priced (our bill was around $26 for 2 orders of spring rolls, and an order of pho each.) The customer service was excellent. Very friendly and attentive waitress. The only negative I thought was the atmosphere. It's a great place for takeout, but to dine in felt a little crowded. I love Pho, and based on my location, this place is closest for delivery/pick up options. I've never dined in related to covid, but I have ordered enough times over the last couple months that this place deserves a review. The delivery, fast! It's always been here quicker than expected, so that gets 5 stars. I frequent the egg rolls and rare beef pho. The egg rolls are delicious every single time. The pho is always hot! And they deliver it will all the toppings and the beef on the side to add in yourself, which I enjoy. Sometimes the broth is extra oily/greasy, which I don't enjoy, but other times it's been perfect, with a good amount of flavor. It does the job if your in the mood for some Vietnamese cuisine, but there are definitely more authentic and advanced options in the area if you're willing to drive for pick up. I've also had the pad Thai from here...skip it, I mean, it's not the worst thing ever, but the noodles were more like thin spaghetti and it lacked much flavor..just not my favorite dish here. read more

More delicious food is migrating to Lakeville! The pho and noodle salad is outstanding. Three things stood out in these dishes: the meat quality, broth and fish sauce dressing. Please branch out and try the noodle salad! Service was standard. I like places that make great food and leaves you alone. Pho Everest qualifies. I prefer Quangs or Trieu Chau for my Pho fix but those locations are in the cities. This place shows good food is spreading and it can compete with the ethnic food in the cities. Great flavors. Traveling through the area and found this place on Yelp! You won't be disappointed. Had the Pork and Pork Eggroll Vermicelli. Flavors were fantastic. Would have liked the dish a bit hotter. By the way, the bathroom is very clean 2nd time here within a week. Ordered Pork Eggroll (Yum!) and Broken Rice dish with grilled pork and cold pork/ pork skin. Had to give them a downgrade and here is why: When I asked what the combo dish he stated the second item was shredded pork. Well he left out that it was actually shredded pork with shredded pork skin. Since I detest pork skin and would not have ordered it would I have known this. Secondly and more important is the fact that they never grilled anything while I was here. The reheated everything in the microwave. SHAME on them. They should be grilling the pork fresh every time. We stopped by last week - we'd been really looking forward to having a local Pho restaurant with great Pho without having to drive up to St Paul or Mpls. Unfortunately, so far, this isn't it. It lacked the deep, rich flavor of the broths found in most other pho that we've had - that deep oxtail, beef bone broth. Instead it really tasted like a regular canned beef broth. We ordered the Pho that included tripe, and there wasn't even a tiny bit of tripe in the bowls. In short, it was bland and really needed a lot of spicing up (and even then, the spicing up should enhance, not provide, the flavor). They were very generous with the beef and the meatballs (good job!) The employees seemed confused by their own menu (I'll cut them slack on this one, as they'd not been open for more than a few days). I cannot fault the employees or owners attitudes, though - they were enthusiastic and friendly. We will return to see if things improve once they've been open more than a week for sure, and when we want pho, but simply don't have time to go up to St Paul, however when time permits and we want really excellent pho, I'm afraid we will bypass Everest Pho. read more
