Chef Kazu is so skilled in his craft and you don't wanna miss out on this delicious ramen!!!! Dont waste any time, get you some!! Also want to mention that I love the way it's packaged! The broth, noodles and toppings are separated so that it doesnt get soggy on the drive home and easy to warm back up if I take too long getting home! Also survived my questionable driving! Haha We love you Matsuba! ありがとうございます‼

We thought the portion would be bigger, but this seems to be the standard sizing for ramen in Austin. The chicken broth was good but not as flavorful as pork broth, and it felt like it could have developed more depth with a longer simmer. Their chicken chashu, on the other hand, was very similar to pork chashu and was tasty. 4 Pieces Yakitori ($11): These chicken skewers (2 thighs and 2 tsukune) were disappointing and very dry. Pork Chashu Bowl ($14.50): Delicious and authentic. Our favorite item of the night. Chicken Katsu ($11.70): For one piece of katsu, this felt way overpriced. It tasted good but not worth the cost. Glazed Sweet Potatos ($5): It's basically candied sweet potatoes that sounded better than it tasted. You have to air fry it or it does not taste good, and even then it was just alright.

This was my first visit. I was craving chirashi and a yelp search showed they had it on the menu…read more I sat at the bar for my meal. The ambience is not super polished by that is not must for me with sushi. The soup and salad was brought out first at the same time. The soup was really tasted and had a lot going in on it compared to most miso soups you get. The salad was all the sad white parts of an iceberg lettuce head with a dressing that was more creamy than the soy/ginger orange one most sushi places have. The chirashi came out with the fish place directly on the rice rather than separately in a stacked serving box with the rice below and the sushi on a plate above that. Their yelp pics showed it presented like this in the past. Guess they ran out or loss those? The fish was really good with the tuna and salmon being the highlight. Nice thick cuts with really good tenderness and freshness. I will be going back again for the chirashi and super friendly service.

I'd like to say that it's an underappreciated gem, but to be frank, it's just okay. Perfectly okay, absolutely not bad, and nothing to get excited about one way or another. The ramen options are structured like a choose-your-own-adventure book, letting diners select their protein and then broth flavor from a list of eight each. For vegans, the sole option is the Vegetable Ramen with Creamy Vegan Broth. It delivers on the promise of vegetables, sporting close to a full crown of tender steamed broccoli, and the noodles are good, if not great. However, the broth falls flat, taking the overall bowl down with it. There's just no flavor at all, no umami, no zest, not even enough salt for proper seasoning. I hate to be harsh because it's done nothing wrong. I would simply never crave it, given the wealth of more compelling alternatives within reach. If you're going to go, and want to keep it vegan, get the basic veggie sushi. Cucumber and avocado were perfect; simple, fresh, abundant, and wrapped in perfectly cooked rice. It's a decent value too, definitely competitive with more upscale options. Service is fast, the people are kind, and it's a fine choice if you're nearby.

Both of the sandos were perfect. The wagyu beef sando had a little bit more flavor but it was slight and both are worth trying. Every roll was enjoyable and I felt like each had a little twist that really made the flavors explosive, like a shaved onion or a crispy puff on the side of the roll. The service was stellar and they were easy to book on OpenTable I also tried the green tea mocktail and found it to be light and refreshing and I was happy that it wasn't super sweet My two favorite items were: 1. The Edamame - which were charred in a way that I feel like I've never experienced it before and had such great flavor. 2. The scallop roll had a thinly sliced shaved truffle on top that made the roll simple yet out of this world. Shout out to the manager who came by just to check in. I always think that is such a sweet gesture.

Because of the influx of so many amazing new sushi spots opening up in town. I forget to visit my old favorite spots and neglecting tenten was a big mistake. Their happy hour is absolutely one of the best deals there is and on Tuesdays they have $10 rolls all night which is an absolute steal. I particularly went there on a Wednesday to try their A5 Wagyu sandwich, but because I hadn't been there in so long, I wanted to have all the rolls that sounded so amazing on the happy hour menu that I couldn't even get to the sandwich. Every single role we had was absolutely off the charts. They even had a Toro role on happy hour for $10 which was such a steal. The service and ambience was also as usual impeccable. Can't wait to come back here to try the sandwich on another Wednesday
