I lived in Thailand for months of my life and can safely say that Pad Thai Cuisine is as delicious as much of the food in Thailand. It may even be the best Thai restaurant in Austin. Many of the dishes aren't truly traditional. For example, the Forever Taste Pad Thai has lightly fried chicken on top, but that doesn't stop it from being an absolutely top notch dish! It's the best pad Thai I've had in Austin. The drunken noodles and massaman curry are exceptional and as good as anything I've had outside Thailand. Be aware that if you order spicy then expect truly spicy with Thai chilies in the dish. Start with medium and work your way up - you'll want to return here. Service is fast and friendly and attentive. I really can't recommend this restaurant any more highly. read more

Staff is always sweet, I learned our waitress who may also be the owner has kids with food allergies so she was accommodating to my husband's allergies. Portions are big. Just got home from a long day of work and decided to order from pad Thai cuisine on a whim. Even after it being delivered, the food was hot and fresh and packed so much flavor. The mango sticky rice had lots of sliced mango and a ton of coconut sauce. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND eating here ! read more

Didn't like the veggie choice of the stirfry vermicelli noodles they had too much sauce. It was a large portion watery, very runny vegetables. The sauce did not taste good. I feel like they need a facelift inside and decorations. Some of the parts were closed of the restaurants it took 15 minutes for the order to be completed. The customer service was OK not great. I would not recommend this place because they don't have enough vegan options and the vegetables were not tasting very good so I ended up throwing it away. Doordash was having a great deal so decided to give them a shot! We ended up getting the spring rolls, pad ke mao, and curry noodles. We opened to get the tofu version of everything and both noodle dishes were hot (not Thai hot). Overall, we enjoyed our meal. The tofu spring rolls were refreshing, as expected, and the pad ke mao was delightful. I feel like a lot restaurants will say something is "hot" when its actually very mild but this had some heat without being overpowering of the other flavors which I really appreciated. My partner didnt seem to be super thrilled about his yellow curry noodles but he was also just starting to recover from being sick which might have messed up his taste buds. Ordered from Pad Thai Cuisine through a delivery service and was pleasantly surprised by how prompt they got the order prepared after it was placed! All of the items that I ordered were pretty solid. Their mango sticky rice had a nice presentation despite being in a to go box and all sauces were packaged separately! Their pangang curry worh beef was a decent portion that contained a good amount of meat. I was pleasantly surprised by their calamari, not something I'd usually order at a Thai place but it was fair priced. The breading was light and overall not too greasy. Pretty run of the mill Thai food. Would not recommend the Pad Thai with Shrimp. The shrimp had a fishy taste and looked overcooked. The Pad Thai was soupy and a little on the sweet side. As always, my dinner was hot fast and excellent. Pad Thai is a go to delivering meal for me. I'm in a wheelchair. Unfortunately the delivery went all bad. I said to ring the doorbell and handed it to me, but the driver didn't ring the doorbell and put the order in the middle of the handicap ramp at the front door . Go go forward and a wheelchair would roll right over it. I did manage to get it picked up, but not the iced tea. I finished the meal an hour ago, but I see it's still sitting there in front of the door Not perfect, but close. Haven't had the best of luck with calling an order in, so I decided to go in person and order there to go. The cons: maybe it's under staffing, but it takes forever to place an order. I was waiting for at least 20 minutes and nobody came to the register. Several other people were also waiting there to either place orders or pick up to-go orders, and we waited for so long before anyone came. I ended up scanning a QR code and placing an online order while standing there and that ended up being quicker. Also for context, only 2 parties were seated. Maybe the staff were busy with to-go orders? The pros: the food was delicious. Although the ordering process was not ideal, the food was tasty. I ordered a beef pad Thai and the shrimp spring rolls. The food took about 20 minutes to make (shorter than the ETA given via email), so no complaints there! The portion was great and the food was ready very quickly which is what you need from Pad Thai. I like spice so I ordered Level 4/High which was wayyy too spicy but I don't fault the restaurant for that; if you're a spice lover, I'd say Level 3/Medium will give you a kick without burning your tongue off. Let us all support this and other local and family owned business. I love this place so much. I used to be one of their regular customers and became one of their lucky employees. Yes, I used to be a regular customer and not anymore because I moved out of Austin and now living in San Francisco. But before moving to a different state and city, I had the chance to be one of their amazing team for a year. I know the inside and outside of the business. I became their regular customer because the first time I ate here, I was treated so much kindness, care and love. From the host, the busser, the server and the owner. They were all so hands on in making sure that I'll be comfortable and in good hands. It wasn't only the service that striked me. It was also their authentic and sumptuous food. And then, some personal things happened and shifted. A friend of mine told me that they are hiring, I applied and the owner was very happy and kind to accept me. The team was very eager and patient to teach me. I worked in the kitchen as a prep, a QA, then as a server. When I became one of their employees, I understood how much pressure and stress the employees get whenever it get busy, whenever customers act like they're above everyone else. The employees of this restaurant are the doing the best they could to give the best service and the best food possible. I know that this is a business, but in my personal experience, for some people who think that this is just a business for people who are trying their best to make a living, well, for the staff of this restaurant, this is their livelihood. It's sad that people would want this business to suffer and close. You can give comments and feedback but at least do it humanely, do it with intergrity and not with hate and bitterness. The owner of this restaurant always makes sure to give the best returns, love and care to its employees and I can attest to that. Unmemorable. My partner had the regular Pad Thai and found it to be equally middling. Uninspired. Perhaps it was an off night, as our friends who live nearby praised the place. But there are scads of other Thai restaurants in that portion of Austin, including many I've not tried.
