I decided to try out their curry fried rice and pad see ew. You can choose to have your tofu fried or soft and I went with soft which was great. The curry flavor wasn't that strong and I've had better pad see ew at other places. They have spice levels from 1-5. Overall, the food was average to above average and the service was amiable even though it was a long wait for the food. A warning that this area is somewhat divey. There's definitely a handful of shady and shifty eyed individuals congregating in the darkness for some odd reason. read more

Though the restaurant was nice and clean, either their air conditioning wasn't working or they only have swamp coolers to cool down their space which made it not so great to dine there due to the uncomfortable warm temperatures. Amazing. We were immediately welcomed when we walked in, struck up a very nice conversation with the gentleman that sat us. If you are Brenda to dine in be prepared, many homeless and shady characters hang around outside. I spent my entire time looking to see if my car was being broken into. If you do, they have killer egg rolls (known as fried spring rolls) and the hot & sour soup is great. I got the Thai fried rice also but the flavor is very limited. Good portions of protein in the rice but just so so. Service was slow since only one person ran the prefer desk, waited all tables and took payments. The place is dirty so don't think dining in will be comfortable for this and other reasons. I wasn't about to try the bathrooms to check cleanliness. read more

Food was pretty good. We ordered Pad See ew. Could have used a bit more sauce though. The crab rangoon were yummy and we fought over the last one. We also ordered chicken satay but the chicken was very dry. Overall this Thai food was pretty good. I called in the order for pick up. The only concern is the location and it's a big one!!My suggestion is to park very close to the restaurant and not near Circle K. This restaurant is in a very bad location. The parking lot is not well lit, it's also next to a laundry mat and there are many shady people walking around and loitering. I was with my daughter and I felt like I need mace or a taser to potentially defend myself. So just be on guard, lock your door and pick up and go!! read more

Found this place recently and they are amazing. I only ate togo a couple times, and the food is so fresh and amazing! I am hooked! They're super affordable and have so much to choose from. Thai Thai faces due south. When traveling South on 19th Ave it is impossible to see. Know that it is just past Peoria as you travel south. The shopping center shows its age. The interior of the restaurant is clean and well decorated. Seating is comfortable. This was my second tour. The first was a noodle dish. The second time one with more vegetables. In all the dishes, you can taste the curry & other flavors that give Thai dishes their unique flavor. Not all Thai dishes are spicy hot. There is a broccoli and chicken one. It is not hot. There are others. If you like, Asian foods Thai Thai is strongly recommend. The prices are reasonable, and the food is very good. I believe it to be authentic. read more

Family owned restaurant in a sketchy part of town. TTK is located at the end of a run down strip mall with homeless situated in front of an empty storefront a few stalls down. Interior is that of a Mexican restaurant. Try to park in front of the restaurant for peace of mind. TTK is definitely family owned as the recipes are not as refined as other Thai restaurants but are family takes on familiar Thai dishes. The service is excellent as this is their livelihood and they are passionate in a family sort of way. We had: - Two Thai Iced Teas, large affordable glasses at $2.50/each - Tom Kha Chicken "Gai" - is less sweet than versions that I've had, more sour than others, had loads of chicken, and good at a spice level of two (range from 1 - 5) - Pad Thai with Tofu - Noodles were properly cooked and a little chewy, note that I don't like mushy noodles that fall apart, sauce a bit runny, and TTK uses firm tofu that is not fried, I'm used to the fried tofu cubes that soak in the tamarind flavor but TTK uses unfried Tofu which is likely better for you... lol.. guess I like to be bad still... - Chicken Larb Salad - again a different take, lightly stir fried ground chicken, rice powder, salad, etc.. a bit runny and since I'm bad, I like my ground chicken browned a bit more to the point that their is some chew to it.. once more, a family healthy take on this dish - Green Curry with Chicken - was lightly sweet with loads of chicken at a spice level of three, this was not spicy at all.. comes with a scoop of white rice.. Overall, inexpensive given the locale, trade off as its kind of sketchy, family style take on familiar Thai dishes, spice levels range from 1-5 with a 3 likely being lighter than what you're used to, large portions, excellent homey service. read more

It was a quick lunch on our way to get fitted for new golf clubs down the street so we ordered a red curry shrimp at a medium heat level or a three out of five. The shrimp were large, perfectly cooked to the point of just done and not quite opaque, and the broth was flavorful and very rich with creamy coconut milk. The only thing I didn't think was right was the very large amount/percentage of strips of bamboo shoots. A few bamboo shoot strips is fine but it was about 4 to 1 bamboo shoots to peppers. Flavor was good however for my liking I would prefer it to be a little more intense in it's overall flavor and I am not referring to heat level I am referring to spices and depth of flavor. The color was more like a slightly orange tinted, tan, cream sauce as opposed to a slightly darker red curry that I am more accustomed to seeing. All that said it was still very good. 25% Flavor - 4 stars. The parking lot had an open large and tall dumpster 1/2 way into the lot with garbage overflowing and strewn all around it in the area. There is a check cashing business across the parking lot. Inside there were distance restrictions and there were plastic partitions added that made it look more like a fast food/fast casual shop. 25% Ambiance/location - 2 stars The service was stellar. How many times have you called to order from a restaurant you had never tried before and made to feel like an idiot by the host/order taker at the other end because you're bothering them just by calling and let alone now you are asking questions? Well not here, we'd never been here, didn't know how they price lunch versus dinner, and how they price chicken versus shrimp etc. and had questions about flavor style of some dishes...and yet, we felt that the host really wanted us to understand so we could order the right thing. He offered a glass of water to go with the meal and it was ready exactly 10 minutes after I ordered it which was how long he said it would take. They were very friendly taking payment and chatting about menu items. 50% Service - 5 stars. Weighted score - 4 stars! If I can give this place zero stars I would! We ordered in with door dash last night and got the chow Mein and I ordered the tilapia with sweet and sour sauce. The food was awful and the sweet and sour sauce started to solidify like gelatin after scooping it in my bowl from the to go box! More than 2 hours later I started feeling sick and threw up all the Orange gunk that I just consumed. It must have been a bad batch of battered fish that was reheated and old sauce that's why I got sick! I've never threw up on a to go meal like that let alone on Christmas evening! Potstickers were delicious. Fried rice I got w shrimp and the shrimp were big and yummy. Definitely recommend these dishes. The pad Thai was just ok. Fresh rolls were basically just lettuce. Don't bother with those unless you have a rabbit to feed. I started with veggie spring rolls. They come cut in half packed full of veggies (of course!). It came with a peanut sauce. I give them a thumbs up. Number 4's main course was Orange Chicken. He said the outside was a bit too crispy, but the inside was great. I ordered Prik Kring with shrimp. As it was my first time there, I went with a spice level of 3 out of 5. It was spicy enough for me, but I would be willing to try one level up. The dish included green beans, carrots and peppers. They all were crispy and had great flavor. The shrimp were cooked just right where the texture is good. We also ordered an order of sticky rice. My wife and I first experienced it years ago on a trip to Thailand. You don't find it often at restaurants in town and it's not always good. Here it was really good, or as number 4 said, "good, good, food." So Thai Thai Kitchen was a great find. My best friend and I got a craving for Thai food while at Sam's Club. The only place remotely close that was open on Sunday was Thai Thai Kitchen. I'm glad we made the drive! If you can overlook the seedy neighborhood (and please do!), you won't be disappointed. They've been open 7 months and everything we had today was delicious.
