We ordered via Uber Eats, so I can't rate the physical location, ambiance, service or parking. Things I like: On uber Eats, you can order combination meats, which one of our usual places you can't. Also on the Uber Eats, you can specify heat level, which on another of our usual Thai places, you can't. We ordered Crab Rangoon, Fried Tofu, Pad Thai combo meat medium heat and Panang curry tofu medium heat. The Crab rangoon was very good. Heavy on the scallion flavor and I liked the sauce a lot. The fried tofu had lost it's crispness due to travel time, but a quick refresh in the air fryer and it was great. I didn't care for the flavor of my husbands pad thai. It was not very peanutty and was missing a few layers of flavor. The Panang curry was watery and I didn't taste ANY peanut flavor. It was weak and made me sad. The tofu in it was generous and the brown rice was cooked perfectly. So, some hits, some misses. Still on the hunt for the right place I guess. read more

We ordered takeout from here, and I ended up with a terrible stomach ache the next day. The Thai curry was nothing like an authentic Thai curry, and the Pad Thai was just as disappointing. The noodles were dry, barely any sauce, no vegetables, and no Thai basil--just noodles tossed in what tasted like a generic sauce. Overall, it was the worst Thai food I've ever had. Can't believe it has been almost 5 years here with my friend. We came back again. This is great inexpensive, tasty, great service, & great Thai food. It's in a hidden corner. It must be a hidden gem. There were tons of take out orders here. I ordered the same thing I had which was Thai Basil noodles with shrimp. It came with rice soup and a spring roll. All of this for $12 can't be beat. My friend ordered the pad see eiw noodles with shrimp and chicken. Hers was tasty too. Lastly we had mango sticky rice, & again very tasty. Ordered takeout via Grubhub. Inattentive welcome staff (nobody was around upon arrival, another patron had to go back to the kitchen to notify customers were waiting). Not a huge deal, young girl working register was prob using the restroom. Food points are good points: Crab Rangoon = super yum! Chicken Panang included a decent amount of chicken and it even included bell peppers which is not traditional of the dish. It had the perfect amount of spice. Only setback was that I did not sense they were using Jasmine rice. They serve sushi so it's possible that it wasn't jasmine as they aren't strictly a Thai joint. I'll be back. It's actually called THAI CAFE ... From the outside you couldn't tell how serene it is inside. I came lunch time and ordered some green tea , vegetable soup and the Thai see yew I believe with shrimp. Had a difficult time communicating , nice guy but if a thick accent. But we figured it out. Place seems pretty clean. You can sit around 30 -40 people. The soup broth was so delicious nothing fancy but great flavour. They must be good food here.I've seen like 3 grub hub pick ups. read more

Watch out for extra charge! I ordered and paid for the Thai chicken Fried Rice online for a total of $15. The cost to add the chicken was $1. My daughter loves carrots so I put in the message to add extra carrots. When I came in to pick it up, they wanted to charge me $4 for the carrots! I complained and then they said an extra $2. I showed them that to add chicken to the plain fried rice it was only $1. He said he can't do anything about it because the owner insisted $2 for extra carrots. It's ridiculous to charge $1 for protein, but try to charge $4 or even $2for carrots!! Take a look at the photo and judge for yourself if any extra carrots were included! read more

My curry dish was reasonably good. I ordered brown rice for $4 extra and my dish came with white rice, so I just added the rice to the curry. The server showed up with the brown rice and I said, I already placed the rice in the entree. Bill came and there was a charge for the brown rice. I will not return. I would said this restaurant is in the middle of the pack. May be their high star rating is due to the local favorite. The restaurant is located on the corner of the plaza. It also serves sushi. They no longer take yelp 15% off coupon. We started with the Tom yum chicken soup. It has some flavor of Thai but not strong enough. Soup a bit salty. We have the chicken satay appetizer. I think this is their best dish. The entree we have pad Thai. I think they can do a better job on this one. The peanut sauce is not a lot. The noodle is ok. We also got the drunken noodle that not in the menu. But I am disappointed for not spicy enough when I have order the Thai hot. Second, they noodle in the wok seem like just a small BTU technique which I can do it at home. If I order this in restaurant, I expect high BTU wok with burn oil cooking. I cannot find it here. The last dish is the duck basil. The duck is filet. The dish is sweet. I would said is a ok dish. Overall my experience is average. The dishes are too Americanize. They need to paid attention to customers requests of how spicy the dish. Chef technique need to improve. I would said is take out quality. read more

We went there for a working lunch and couldn't have been more pleased with everything! Thanks to the wonderful Yelpers, we found this place which was only 7 minutes away from where our meeting had been. We got there around 1:30 and the lunch crowd was already gone. I ordered some steamed rice for my 9 month old, as I knew she was hungry and tired. Our server was very thoughtful and also brought out some broth to go with the rice. There were 2 "new to thai" diners with us, so our server recommended the sampler appetizer platter. We ordered that and edamame. Both were very fresh and delicious. Our meals consisted of 2 sushi rolls, Mexican and spicy tuna, green panang curry, pad thai chicken and teriyaki chicken. Everyone was very pleased with their selections. Again we were the only people in the restaurant, not sure if people around Lutz are not eating out but I felt bad for this mom and pop shop. We tried to compensate and ordered as much food as we can but our tummies could only handle so much. Well, it turned out that food here was excellent. Flavors were on point, whether it was the fried rice, noodles, beef or chicken dish. When my pad see ew was served my heart dropped because the sauce looked pale but boy was I wrong. It was the best pad see ew I've had in a long time. I love this restaurant and its going to be my go to Thai fix once we move to the Sunshine State. read more

Had originally left a 5 star review, but after buying some calamari today I have to change it. $10.50 for 9 rings of calamari is absolutely ridiculous. I called and asked for a refund because I picked it up in person and didn't open it until I got home, and they told me it usually comes with 8 pieces and they couldn't refund me. I spent $120 last time I was there to pick up food for me and some family members, and I think it's bad service not to refund when a customer calls and complains about an issue. Super good Thai food close to home. Hooray! New owners took over 4 months ago. This is the first time I ate in the restaurant, but I did get takeout for lunch last week. Both times I have gotten panang curry with beef tonight/chicken last week and fresh rolls and both times, it has been great - flavor, portion size and price. This time I brought my family to include my husband, 6 year old son, 82 year old mother, and uncle and all three generations enjoyed their meals. This restaurant is where and old pizza place was in the corner of a strip shopping center. I think the booths are remnants of the pizza place with the fake leather flaking off when you slide in. The decor is certainly lacking, but they have clearly tried to spruce it up a bit on a limited budget and it seems clean. We will definitely return and I will hardest to explore the menu some more. read more

Came here for lunch with a bff, and it was just okay, and fairly mediocre. They did not have any Sushi, for whatever reason, and I didn't ask. We ordered the Thunder wings on the Specials board on the wall, and it probably was the best thing we ate. I ordered Shrimp Basil Noodles off the Lunch Menu, which came with soup and a small egg roll. It was the typical chicken rice soup at most Thai restaurants, but it was not hot, only tepid, but the egg roll was right out of the fryer hot. My bff's favorite Thai dish is Duck Panang, and it was not on the lunch menu, but made it anyway for her, and charged us the dinner price. It was somewhat disappointing, as the duck did not taste fresh,, as it tasted slightly mushy. The Panang sauce was very thin and lacked zing. We picked Volcano sauce for our Thunder wings, which was supposed to be sweet and mildly hot. It was sweet alright, but barely a hint of hot, although they were super crispy. It was the first time trying Shrimp Basil Noodles, and I wasn't really wowed. The shrimp were cooked nicely, but it was just okay, and not a dish I would order again. Oh well. read more

We've ordered Delivery of Thai Noodle Dishes from here (thru Grubhub powered by Yelp). We do hope to try their Sushi soon? (Looking for Sushi in Lutz!) First off, this place is tucked in the corner of a strip mall beside Winn-Dixie, but don't let that sway you away from this place. The food was amazing. I had the red curry chicken, hot, not thai hot and it was perfectly seasoned and lots of chicken. Also has the sweet and sour combo plate and that too was delicious and generous portion of meats. Although they did not accept the 15% off Yelp check-in (New management), I cannot find myself to even knock a star off for it. So delicious. Will definitely come back. read more
