Ordered sesame chicken (qt)... got home it looked lovely. Big golden brown pieces of breaded fried chicken, sesame sauce and broccoli. I started eating. There was a SMALL piece of chicken in each piece, mostly just fried breading. Actual chicken pieces were anywhere from .5" x .5" to .25" x .25"... with doughball 2" x 2". Really skimping on the protien here. Broccoli was ok, sesame sauce was very thin and did not adhere to the chicken very well. Rice... ok, but had obviously been made hours before and kept in a steamer basket. Never again... there are some places you can go where you get more chicken than fried batter, they are just a little farther away. read more

This is one of the best Chinese takeout I've ever had. The service was phenomenal, and the food was splendorful. The art in this establishment was soothing yet tear jerking. I loved it. I went today for boneless spare ribs LUNCH special. Prices WENT UP quite a bit (paid $11 rather than $8-9) and portion size has gone DOWN with less quality prep than before. The meat had a lot of fat on it. Wish I took pics for poof, but forgot. I took a menu for reference and realized even the dinner platters are now $13-15, which is steep. I know times are different, but these prices are crazy for the area and quality portioned out. Prob not worth it like before. Happy hunting. read more

This is your standard Chinese food joint. Prices are reasonable and the food is good. You cannot go inside to pick up your food or eat though. They have a plexiglass thing in the doorway where you do your transactions. Overall good food and good prices. read more

The owner literally threw a empty can at me while my friend and I were just standing outside existing. We are respectful people and to have the owner/cook throw a can at me and friend is down right disrespectful. I already do not go to their restaurant because their food quality is not that good, but at least I thought there would be some respect. Ordered take out from here the other night and I enjoyed the shrimp fried rice and the lo main. Other items we ordered were also very good. The chicken and broccoli was delicious. I recommend ordering non fried dishes, the sesame chicken had too much batter and not enough chicken, typically the case with those dishes so I usually stay away. But the service was welcoming. We moved from NY and have been in search for a Chinese restaurant, we found a decent one and our luck, they closed down. We were informed about this location and after months without eating Chinese food, we were happy to order from this location. The food was very tasty , the rice is yellow, but very good. Do not eat here! Very bad. The lady is nice but the man in the back is smoking right in the restaurant and coughing on your food. Very unclean. I wish I could say good ambiance. I like to give credit where it is due but the food and how sanitary it's treated is much more important to me than that! So I would never recommend. Especially if you are calling in your order. The food is always good and ready in 15-20 minutes (not a long wait at all really) it's my go to Chinese food spot. I always recommend their chicken lo mein, shrimp fried rice, crab Rangoons and orange chicken. They got rid of the plexiglass so you can walk inside the restaurant now. I come here for the chicken wings and love how flexible they are with customizing your meal. The place is small, it can seat about 15 people. Its a takeout place so don't expect anything fancy. I got fried chicken wings tossed in General Tso sauce(instead of the honey or buffalo sauce) with white rice. I'm not a fan of fried rice so I never get it. I appreciate the fact that they cut the wings in half. My order came with four pieces of chicken wings and they tasted great, like always lol! I've ordered the honey wings in the past and they were good too! My total came up to $7.44 (they charge extra for the General Tso sauce) Would I come back? YUP! Ok so this is the first Chinese restaurant I found that won't take Amex! Should have been my clue not to try it. You should never sell pot stickers that have obviously spoiled meat in them. Won't even feed then to my dog. The moo goo gai pan was poor. The mu shu shrimp a soggy mess, the shrimp looked like they came from a can. The best was the stir fried vegetables. And the steamed rice. Simple and delicious hence the one star. Don't normally hate on places but this is terrible. Should have ordered pizza. Onwards with our quest for decent Chinese in Tampa! Im picky with my general tsao, sesame chicken ribs and chicken wings. So If you want the closest to New York style chineese food this is your place. Dont be fooled by the other restaurants up the block that claim they're New York style because I'm from New York and this the closest you'll get. I'd give them 5 stars but I wont only because the rice is a little too dry and so was the ribs (but for the ribs just ask for extra sauce). other then that the food was delicious and full of flavor read more

I've never had an issue, food is always delicious and ready in 10 minutes. They are very clean and friendly. It's the next best thing to Chinese food from back home. read more

Fast Chinese takeout that is consistently good. And close to home base for me. Located in strip mall in front of Walmart. I ordered the shrimp with cashew nuts, hold the shrooms. The general tao chicken was overlooked but I will say it was flavorful. I just wish it wasn't so dry. My husband said the chicken and mushrooms was pretty good. The rice in both of our combos was pretty dry as well. Seemed like it was either overcooked or sat around for awhile. We both agree the lo mein was awesome. Very flavorful and cooked great. Reminded me of lo mein back in NJ. Food was piping hot when I got it home. There was plenty to share as well. And lastly the egg roll. I must say this was pretty darn good. I really like this place, it also helps that I know the people running it, but the food is really good. We order food from here about every two to three weeks and I always ask for the spiciest thing on the menu and they do deliver with that. The only down side is that the crunchy things for the soup are sometimes stale and that's a negative, but the food overall is very good and makes up for it.
