My go to is the General Tsos Chicken. With the pork fried rice. The lunch special comes with a canned soda. And as you see in the pic it's a huge portion. I also go some fried Dumplings. Amazing. For local take out Chinese it was good. People were friendly and place looked clean. We ordered online, which we loved because it was super easy, and then drove down and picked it up. Don't have to pay until you pick up if you do that. Ordered chicken lo mein, sweet & sour chicken combo, chicken with mixed vegetables combo, and beef with broccoli combo. Each combo came with an egg roll. Don't forget to grab your sauces! Beef was very good. Tender. Chicken for sweet and sour was okay. Mixed vegetables were good. Everything was nicely sauced. I wanted Chinese takeout and my wife is feeling a bit under the weather, so it made sense. Visited China One in New Tampa, next to our local Publix supermarket. We have been here a number of times because the food is solid and the service is quick and friendly. I understand that Chinese takeout restaurants are not very welcoming and the food quality may be suspect. However, and I am no expert, the food looks good, tastes good and the service has always been efficient and attentive. Tonight we got takeout from China One, the staff was amazing and friendly and the food came out so fast! We really enjoyed the food including General Tso's Chicken (pictured), chicken and cashews, beef and broccoli, and sesame chicken! The Crab Rangoon was an honorable mention for me because I don't like crab, although I thought these were very mild and not fishy at all! I should have turned and walked out when seeing that the one person in the kitchen was slumped over in a canvas fold up chair in front of an oscillating fan sleeping, as was the lady behind the counter.... sleeping, sitting up straight, facing the front of the store. I was hungry so I cleared my throat, hoping she'd wake up. When we unpacked the food, we found that our shrimo egg foo young was burnt, had absolutely NO vegetables except for a few white onion slices (very, very few), and each of the 3 "pancakes" had no more than 3 tiny shrimp. The filthiest restaurant I have ever entered. I ordered takeout. So I paid and picked it up. I was actually reluctant to taste it. The loMein was mushy and way over cooked. Fried rice dry and old. The hot sour was not bad! The ceiling fans and air intake on ceiling under take out counter. Filth. I was afraid to go to restroom. The cook and I'm assuming female Asian owner. Sooo rude. I don't know how this place stays open. I'm assuming there's no competition (small town). I would be shocked if the kitchen was sanitary and clean. The health department needs to visit this place. I am new to the area and a Starting my quest to find a decent Chinese food place that is not a buffet. I ordered the lunch combo with General Two's chicken. The pork fried rice was bland, the chicken tasted like rancid oil, and the to go bag did not include soy sauce, napkins, or chop sticks. There was not an option to self-serve those items either. Chinese take- out is my guilty pleasure. I used to go the China One in Temple Terrace. The food there was decent. I have to say the food at this location was hotter and fresher. Wanted Chinese takeout and I was passing by on my way home from work so I decided to pop in. I went in to place an order for take out and the lady was on the phone so I stood and waited my turn. In the kitchen one of the guys had a large container of noodles he was stirring with his bare hands. No masks, no GLOVES, and he picked up pieces of food that had fallen out of the container off of the table and threw them back into the container. Will not be back. SANITATION IS NOT A PRIORITY. I've driven by this restaurant several times over the last year but never tried it. Tonight we were in the mood for Chinese food so I checked out their website. First off the website is laid out very nicely and looks very high class with the photographs and food descriptions. So we decided to go ahead and order. I start with that for anybody that does the same thing by going to their website. Stop there and move on! We ordered the barbecue spareribs along with the house fried rice crab Ragoons and two side orders of fried noodles and eggrolls. When I went in to pick up the order I was shocked. There was a huge wall of plexiglass with a speaker to communicate with the person behind the plexiglass and a plexiglass box that you had to open to pick up your food or pay them. I can see straight into the kitchen that was extremely dirty with the back door wide open and cooked food just sitting on top of the counters unrefrigerated. I got a very bad feeling right at that moment. I went ahead and paid for the order and picked up my food from the plexiglass box and we went home. I literally ordered from the parking lot in my car the wait time was 15 minutes. I live less than five minutes away. When we got home and opened everything up the crab Ragoons we're cold and soggy not crunchy like they have been cooked hours ago and just sitting around, the spare ribs were a joke they were nothing but bones almost like they cut the meat off of most of them first for other dishes and then cooked them. They were also cold and chewy what meat was on them. The house fried rice was lukewarm at best and when we poured out the container into a bowl there were three shrimp and five pieces of very small chicken strips and the rest was just rice. It also had no flavor at all. Same with the egg rolls they have been cooked ours before and not even heat it up or attempted to heat up at the restaurant. It was close to $30 for the food and we literally threw it in the garbage it was absolutely terrible. I have lived in the area for 10 years and we always religiously order from Liang's bistro right up the street. As incredible as Liang's is and the quality of their food is incredibly fresh it can get pricey. I learned my lesson well tonight you get what you pay for. We immediately ordered from Liang's and had an absolutely delicious meal as always. Don't be fooled by this restaurants website as well as it seems it's a joke I even hate to give it one star. read more

Ordered 4 items. I had the General Tso's Chicken. No joke, I put half of an order on a plate (at home) and had THREE separate, long strands of hair. After coming across the third, I couldn't eat any more. I called the restaurant, not to seek any refund or credit, just to let them know so they could fix it. However, when I called this was the exchange, -Employee: "Hello, can I help you?" -Me: "Hello, may I please have the manager?" -Employee: What is the problem?" -Me: "Are you the manager?" I've eaten here maybe a half dozen times, it's very close to my house so it's convenient. However, It's typically just okay, and sometimes it's not okay. The first time I had the moo goo gai pan, it was delicious. It's not always delicious, In fact I think it was only delicious the first time. Neither the flavor nor the texture has been consistent and on one occasion I couldn't even eat it. But if you want inexpensive, fast Chinese takeout, it's pretty standard. read more
