I don't know what happened to this place. It used to be my favorite thai place around the cypress area. We recently ordered the same we have been ordering for years- yellow curry, sticky rice, and spring rolls. The curry barely had curry, the sticky rice was gooey not sticky, and the spring rolls well they were all falling apart. They barely gave any peanut sauce with it as well, could only eat one spring roll with peanut sauce. For the price point now, this place is not worth it.

Went back for round three of their delicious Pad Thai as I've been craving it for about a week. I opted to get it with meat this time and chose shrimp. At first I thought I was going to be disappointed with the amount of shrimp on it for the price $16.30, but after pouring into my favorite bowl to mix all the yummy goodness together, to my great surprise there were 8 large perfectly cooked shrimps! I went just after they opened and got the regular large portion instead of the lunch portion so I would have leftovers.... Well that didn't happen because it was SO good it ended up eating the entire thing! I'm definitely paying for it now but... WORTH IT lol. I truly recommend them especially of you LOVE Pad Thai as I do. Happy Eating

If I'm visiting mother out in the burbs of Katy, I'm visiting Thai Chefs. It's giving consistency, deliciousness, and customer oriented, okay?! I love Thai, like top 3 favorite food and it's not number 3. Keep up with me! We placed an order recently for pickup and the process was a breeze. I've ordered to go before and I've dined in. They have wonderful lunch specials too. One thing I've noticed about Thai Chefs is that thruway are family-oriented and focus on providing a great experience and I love an experience! Chill ambiance, with a home like feel. I'll always return, and you should too. Oh! And it's the holidays right, when I went to pickup the order and chit chat with my favorite staff I noticed the Happy Holidays sticker on our bag. It's the little things ya know. Love you, Thai Chefs!

The restaurant is clean, server was nice and attentive, and food came out hot and quick. There's limited parking in front, however plentiful parking in the back of the building. We opted to do the red curry and spicy chili beef lunch special. The egg rolls were great and the soup tasted like a delicious chicken soup. Spice level range from 0-4(hottest). For the curry we did a 3, pad kee mao(3), spicy chili beef a 2, and they were all great for our spice tolerance. I'm really picky about my pad kee mao aka drunken noodle and it was perfect! Will definitely be one of our go to Thai spots.

That was some good curry! We stopped by for lunch and I decided to try the green curry. Did not think basil would go in curry but it works! My only complaint is that the scoop of rice it came with was very small (had to order another one). That said, the bowl of curry itself is huge and I think you can order some sides and a curry to share or get some fried rice and curry. Service was pretty quick and the restaurant is small but it had decent seating area for friends or family. Definitely recommend, I gotta come back to try other menu items!

Do not judge a book by its cover. From the outside it looks like an unassuming hole in the wall but it's the opposite inside. Very nicely decorated and clean. Also they got some nice music playing. The food was amazing!!! This will definitely be my go to spot for Thai food. My favorite dishes were the yellow curry and pad se ew. We also got the fried fish, so good. Very nice and highly recommend.

Went around 3p, it wasn't busy. Service was good and fast. Wait time for food was minimal Soft rolls where very light and refreshing. The peanut sauce was served warm which was a nice off set with the cold soft roll Chicken pad this was very good and flavorful. I think there needs to be more meat...just my preference. The spice levels are off by a lot. Mild was like there was no spice at all. The thi hot which is the hottest one was like a medium.

I have to admit I had second thoughts about walking in when we got there. Outside not inviting. However, decided I can't judge a book by its cover. Very pleasant inside. Server was excellent, very friendly and efficient. We got the Tom Yum soup and "soft rolls" (summer roll). Both were excellent my husband said the soup was the best he ever had. The summer rolls could have used some cucumber and basil in them. Then we had the Pad Thai and the Cashew chicken. Pad Thai was fresh. Their spice "level rating " was spot on. We ordered medium and it was perfect with spice but not too much. When we were done and ask for to go boxes the server helped us box up. Over all a great dining experience.

Just wanted some Thai food and this little hidden gem hit the spot. I'll be honest upon parking here you look around and think "I don't know seems kind of off". It's definitely a hole in the wall place with great food and service. I ordered a Pad Kee Mao and it was delicious. Good amount of meat, veggie, and noodle ratio and it wasn't overly bearing in spice. Also took sticky rice and mango to go and it had the right amount of sweetness to the sauce. The service was on point with the constant check up and refills. The environment was cozy and clean. I would go back and try out more of their dishes.

We had to order take out on a Friday night because it was 10 mins before closing (9pm on Fridays) and they processed the order incredibly fast. All tables were full when we picked up so I'm sure busy nights will be a bit of a wait to get in. We asked for "medium" spice but the receipt had been defaulted to "mild" thank god. It was still a decent amount of spice and any more I would have probably been sweating like crazy. So I would recommend starting off with mild and go from there unless you are a glutton for punishing spice. Their mild seems to be more like medium / hot at an Americanized Thai joint. Pad Kee Mow with chopped chicken was delicious. Fresh crunchy green beans and bell peppers, onions and tomatoes perfectly cooked with the perfect spicy basil sauce. Noodles all had sauce on them. Large serving size and great price. We also got papaya salad which was just right and nice spice. I wish I could come here often and try everything else on the menu.

I wouldn't necessarily sit down here but if you want to you can. More of a grocery store than sit down restaurant. Khao soi gai: 7/10 This was so flavorful and delicious but definitely should have opted for the chicken instead of the soft shell crab I wasn't really a fan of the crab. Love the flavors and textures though. Definitely want to try with chicken and I recommend getting some rice on the side. Pad mama: 9/10 This had a really yummy vibrant flavor with a good amount of protein and leafy greens. Could be spicier I think the just gave us a random spice level. Overall really yummy and good portion for the prices but would love to retry with more spice in the dishes.

I went with my husband during Houston Restaurant Week, and maybe that was my mistake…read more We got the Thai ice tea and Thai jasmine green tea for drinks, squid and tofu for appetizers, the crying tiger and kua kling for entrees, and the sticky rice with mango and the coconut ice cream for desserts. I can confidently say that I was disappointed. There was not one dish that stood out or that I would recommend or come back for. I especially was sad that the crying tiger flavors really missed the mark. The sticky rice that came with it felt like it was reheated and some parts were hard. It also tasted like some of the vegetables (green beans and carrots) that come with the entrees were frozen, not fresh. The jasmine green tea tastes like a powder mix. Some of the squid tasted freezer burned. The kua kling was the most interesting and unique of the dishes, but not one that I would go out of my way to eat again. The sticky rice with mango was as expected. The coconut ice cream is probably pre-portioned and frozen so was rock solid when it came out. I did not find most of the toppings particularly good. It was a busy Friday and I know service was busy. The food did not take long to come out, but we definitely had dishes from previous courses that stacked up, and we had to ask them to be taken away. They do have a high chair for toddlers and brought a plastic plate/utensils, but there was not a changing table in the bathroom we used. We have had such great experiences at other Thai restaurants in Houston that I would not come back.

It could easily reach that level. Our waitress, Ann, was incredibly kind, soft spoken, and welcoming. My friend Sherita suggested this restaurant after we left a Yelp office hour, and I'm so glad she did because it introduced me to something I never knew I needed: the salmon mango fried rice. It was absolutely amazing. I originally planned to take some home for my son to try, but it was so delicious that I finished every bite in one sitting. Sherita had visited earlier in the week and tonight shared that she arrived; right before I walked in which was 30 minutes before closing time, Jackie told her to hurry up and order, even though she already knew exactly what she wanted and didn't even need a menu. Jackie response was unprofessional and didn't even wait till the table guest got to the table, which was less than seconds since we all arrive at the same time, and left the same place. During our visit, Jackie never brought us water. A couple who was seated after us received water before we did. It took over 10 minutes for us to get water. Ann took great care of us, but anytime we wanted a refill, we had to ask. At one point my glass was completely empty. I noticed Jackie refilling the water glasses for a table of six, so I managed to get his attention. He looked directly at me, scanned the room, then stomped away all fast without acknowledging my request. Instead, he told Ann that we wanted water, and she graciously brought it over. Even at the end of our meal, Jackie stood behind the register while my friends waited to pay, yet another employee ended up taking their payment. His overall energy felt very cold and unwelcoming. My friend even joked that it was probably for the best that he didn't refill my water because of the energy he was carrying. As someone who believes water absorbs energy, I honestly agreed. I'm grateful Ann was the one who served us with such kindness. The restaurant itself has such a peaceful, zen atmosphere. The greenery outside and the warm lighting inside create a cozy neighborhood spot that I truly want to love and revisit with my son. Thank you , Sherita for introducing me and Aaliyah to this hidden gem. I completely understand why you visited twice in one week. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu, and hopefully next time the hospitality matches the quality of the food.
