I ordered take out from here and I'm sorry to say I wasn't that impressed. I'm a long time fan of Thai food but their panang curry lacked a certain fresh "zing" to it. Maybe not enough spice? The spring rolls were good but the peanut sauce was watered down and not very flavorful. Super solid tasty Thai food. We ordered them on Grubhub, having no idea what to expect. I ordered everything Thai hot and was pleasantly surprised that the food arrived properly seasoned! Their larb is some of the best I have had - a slightly unique version compared to the types I have had in the past - more earthy. The squid salad was sublime, the tom kha gai was great, the drunken noodles were delicious and their homemade coconut ice cream and custard was so good it shall haunt my dreams until I have it again. read more

After reading all the reviews, I really, really wanted to like this place but was sadly disappointed. I looked through the reviews and the menu and decided to order two of my favorites -- Drunken Noodles and Holy Basil Chicken. I've been to Thailand multiple times and so when ordering I asked for "Thai Medium" as I didnt want bland, US spicy! While the menu seemed to be a weird mix of Thai and Vietnamese, all seemed good from the order and she even said "oh you want thai style" so I felt she got it. The first problem happened when I arrived and the bill was more than $5 than I'd expected. I questioned the total and she shrugged and said "oh, that old price online" -- to which I replied "gee, don't you think you should update that?" Again, another shrug as she hurriedly swiped my credit card to put through the charge before I could say anything more. Oh well I thought - at least it smelled good and so I took it home, excited to find some "legit" thai in Denver, even if it was more than 3x what you'd pay in LA! The Thai Basil chicken was decent & spicy and they got the fried egg on top right, even if it was a tad salty. The big disappointment was the Drunken Noodles. They were unlike any Drunken Noodles I've ever had and should be ashamed to call themselves such. They were not even close to spicy and were coated in some weird orange goopy sauce that was more sweet than spicy. It's a shame as I really wanted to like this place but sadly my search continues. Loved the Pad Thai & Drunken Noodle; some of the best I've had in Aurora. It was a lot of food and we had every intention to save some for another meal, but it was just too good and we ate it all in one setting. This was delivery through Grubhub, because of COVID. Hm... you will drive by this place, tucked away into a strip mall which may be borderline sketch, and you will think twice. Judge a book by its cover if you will, but I am telling you, you will be MISSING OUT. This thai place is the BEST I have had in Denver. Audacious words, I know. But I have gone here for the past 6 years and it has consistently been amazing. I love their drunken noodles and any of their curries (panang is my fave but green is also bomb!). But the one thing that makes them stand out leagues above competition is their thai iced tea. It gets NO better than this. Generous portions, the perfect combo of milk and tea.... It is to DIE for! Pretty good food. Ordered via Postmates. The food was hot when delivered. I got the chicken drunken noodles. Good amount of heat, and the noodles were good. Chicken could have had a little more flavor. My wife got the beef skewers and the pho. The beef was very flavorful. The pho had a beautiful broth with all the accoutrements in a separate container so it stayed fresh while being delivered (bonus points for that). I will definitely order from here again. Everything came just as described and I would definitely give them kudos for their delivery expertise (they also cut a hole in the top of the egg roll container so it didn't steam themselves into a soggy mess). read more

Today was my fourth or maybe fifth visit to Thai Flavor. Although their food it not the best Thai food I've had (never been to Thailand, but I've had better Thai food in Manila), Thai Flavor is the best Thai restaurant in the Boulder-Denver area. We love to order the larbs, the eggplant stir-fry, the pineapple fried rice, and the crispy Catfish salad. Today I ordered the Crispy Catfish Salad and the pork larb. As always, the food was great. I would have given the restaurant four stars, but there was a server today that was very unpleasant. She's not a waitress. She's an older woman who serves water, cleans the tables, and goes around calling everyone "Honey." She likes to chat with customers, which is fine. But often her stories contain a lot of information about herself that seems improper to talk about in a restaurant. Anyhow, she came over to my table and said--as I was enjoying my fresh coconut juice--(you know, from a real coconut), "I would never order that in a restaurant. In my country we eat that at home. Look at you, aren't you having a hard time? You should never order that in a restaurant!" There's probably some sort of transliteration going on, or maybe she isn't quite "there," but to me that was just plain rude. read more

Well this place is really good. Solid, authentic, family run Thai. Seriously there is nothing in Denver as good as this and the trek to Aurora was worth it. Food came out really fast.. so i guess that's good. But it was luke warm - not hot as it shud be. Service is negative 5 stars. They dropped off the food and basically walked away. We needed bowls and some hot sauce so we had to request that but they didn't even stop by our table, we had to make our request as they were walking by! Literally didnt stop while we made our request. They didn't stop to check on us, if we needed anything else. Ordered a Thai tea that we never got... But they didn't forget it on the check! We aren't paying for stuff we didn't get. I expect servers to stop by ur table and check on your meal and ask if everything is as it shud be and if you need anything else -- That wud be a 5 star service that deserves a 20% tip. They mostly care about getting orders from customers so that they can just get some $$. Cheap cheap cheap. Food is ok...nothing to write home about. We got siriracha noodles, peanut sauce with tofu, Thai flavor with chicken. 40$ for watever food, 0 service, and no drinks.. Want good Thai food?? What's the hype here, my G? With the corona virus going around, we did a Grub Hub order and it took about 45 minutes (although, granted, it was pretty snowy outside.) The portion size is large, but if the quality isn't that good, is it even worth it? My Pad Thai seemed too acidic and it was missing some sort of flavor that makes it Pad Thai. I like the thin noodles they used though. I'm sure there's a difference between eating dine-in and take out... So i'll give Thai Flavor a chance once more when the Corona Virus dies down. read more

My husband and I order takeout from here about once a month. Order is always ready on time. The portions are definitely a good size so there's room for leftovers. The pad Thai and Sriracha noodles are both very good. I ordered the latter "hot" (not Thai hot) and it was definitely freakin spicy. This would be perfect at "medium" spice level. Really good though! My husband always orders the drunken noodles but I think they're a bit too oily. Have also orders curries in the past which are good but maybe too large of potato chunks. My family got takeout on a Thursday night. It was the perfect weeknight option; the food was ready in less than 15 minutes, and the portions were big enough for my husband and I to eat well and take leftovers for lunch the next day. The flavors really wowed us. My dad, who always complains about food not being spicy enough, ordered Pad Thai that was truly "Thai Hot." He was not disappointed, in fact he even got up after a bite to grab a cold beverage to cool off his mouth. My husband got drunken noodles and they were absolutely delicious as well. I was happy he chose hot, because the spice was more manageable for me. The only part of our meal that was less than fabulous was the dumplings. Trying Thai Flavor for the first time tried dining in with family. We called in to make reservations for five at 4:30pm got there and the place was very well decorated. The food was good as well the issue I had was with service first off when we got there our they said our reservation was taken off. We got there 10 mins before 4:30 so something like this wouldn't happen, we just waited until a table opened up. As we were ordering the only thing we said was no peanuts on everything. The papaya salad came out had peanuts as well as the pad Thai.
