One thing I appreciate about bigger cities is that no matter the neighborhood you can usually find restaurants offering great food and friendly service. I've been going to a Thai restaurant in this location for more than 15 years. Although the ownership may have changed, the food has always been fresh and flavorful. The service has always been friendly and no matter how busy they are, they put out quality food quickly. I also appreciate that since my power chair sits up higher, they even have blocks to put the tables up on, so I can pull under it. It's that kind of service and quality of food that keeps my friends and I returning year after year.

Wow. Seriously good Thai food in a cool modern minimalist storefront restaurant. Found the tom kha soup I've been searching for for years. Knowledgeable staff. And perfect for takeout orders too.

Aung's is one of my favorite casual dinner spots in South Denver. Great for takeout, and efficient/friendly staff if you dine in. Getting a variety of dishes and splitting with a small group is the best way to have their food. The pad Thai, green curry, and pineapple friend rice were all great. The star of the day was the crab wontons.

This spot fell short of my expectations. Reddit raves about this place as the best Thai food in Denver. I thought the food was decent, but not memorable. The prices were on the upper end think $15 for a mango and sticky rice. For two people we spent $84 without drinks. We ordered a tom yum, pad thai and basil chicken. The tom yum was interesting not sure in a good way... felt like there was too much chicken broth. The pad thai was too saucy and didn't have enough vegetables for my liking and the basil ground chicken was decent. Overall it was ok, but not worth the drive or hype. This was one of the first expectations where Reddit didn't live up to it's for the review of this spot.

I say 3.5 for the food, red curry was good but not very good. My friend said his green curry with chicken was ok. Portions are large.

Among the top 2 Thai restaurants that I have tried in Denver. A mom and pop joint in Englewood with food made by people who are clearly passionate about cooking. Some of my favorites The Papaya salad - fantastic! Fresh grated papaya perfectly seasoned without the fish sauce being too overpowering. Crunchy peanuts contrasted the soft papaya Cashew Chicken - the chicken was done perfectly with great proportions of carrots, cashews and bellpeppers. Leftovers tasted great re-heated the next day as well Pineapple curry - what a flavorful experience. The spices, heat, and coconut combined with explosive bites of pineapple was out of this world. We ordered mild, and it definitely left our mouths tingling. A definite must-get. Overall - minimally (but perfect) decorated restaurant with service that was not particularly fast or overly welcoming, but the food is definitely worth going back. My last lunch there took about 40 minutes to get food out after ordering so maybe not the best place if your are limited for time

This lovely little café has phenomenal Thai food. The menu is extensive so deciding which to order was very difficult for us. Let's start with the vegetable egg rolls, which were the best I've ever had. The crispy outer was a nice surprise and I wanted about 10 more. Let's just make this simple. Every dish was delicious. We took home at least half of every dish because the servings are immense. I added a picture of the bill because it is very reasonably priced. There is also a full bar and parking is in the lot or on the street. For those who like to watch sports there was also a television on but the conversation was still very easy among diners. And all around wonderful meal and I highly recommend it.

Came on a Friday night around 8 PM and boy was the place busy. Luckily got a table for two without having to wait. There's a small parking lot in the front and you'd be lucky to get a spot, if not, there's parking on the streets. Staff was friendly although they were running around like crazy. Papaya salad- if you love fish sauce like me, you'll like this salad 5/5 Pad Thai- wish it was less sweet and came with a lime, but they were out 4/5 Garlic pepper pork- nice charred flavor to it 5/5 Green curry - we might just be more of yellow curry kind of people. I enjoyed the bamboo and eggplants in it 4/5 Mild + spicy level was good for me. I find eating 10 hot Cheetos in a row spicy

Delicious food! Service was a little awkward - in lack of communication. Awesome sized portions. Highlight the green curry!!

The mix of spice and lime elevated the coconut broth. I like that I was able to choose the spice level. The Tom Kha was served as a soup only which I was able to finish on my own. This could easily be a shareable dish if served with rice or if looking to kick up the comfort-food level a notch. I deducted one star because I wishes they have more seasonal menu rotation, so I can try something new when I come visit here. The menu is pretty limited in my view. I want Pork congee or Khao khuk kapi in the rotation menu. Our go to spot when we visited Denver Botanical garden :)

Chicken, chewy and mushy and not normal meat texture AT ALL. If they're "velveting" it, it's excessive and gross. Chicken Fried rice was okay. But so bland and mushy and wet. Also had the weird chicken in it. Peanut curry lunch. Tasted just like like peanut sauce covering everything. They forgot my egg roll so can't speak on those. The curry had a lot of the mushy chicken and almost no veggies. One broccoli, 3 large chunks of mostly raw red pepper. No peanuts. A few snow peas. Pad Thai. Not good. Weirdest and close to worst pad Thai I've ever had. It had a grainy texture to the sauce and was really thick and really bland but sweet all at once. Just a container of red mush noodles and red mush chicken. Why? I really can't understand what is happening. Is this like premade canned or frozen and super cheap so they're selling it? Pad Thai at better Thai restaurants isn't super hard to make and is much nicer. I am just super confused by it. It really reminded me of Thai cup of noodle microwave ramen-like food I've tried at Asian grocery stores. The gyoza were okay. A little harder and drier than we would have preferred and not crispy by their arrival. I could never order here again because we tried such a broad array and its quality was just horrible over all. Even the rice was mushy and very clearly not high quality jasmine rice. Nothing seemed Thai-like at all. Nothing was fresh, light, savory, or vibrant, all things I associate with food thai food. I'm sure with a few pivotal changes they could perk up the menu.
