Absolutely love this place. Always suggest this place when my buddies and I want to grab a bite. The prices cannot be beaten and the food is amazing. I've moved up to boulder for the past 4 years but every time I come down to visit my parents, Thai flavor is a spot I have to hit up. From their Thai teas/coffee to their flavored fish, everything is amazing. Spice level can be a hit or miss here but everything is so good you wouldn't even mind. I would recommend definitely getting their drunken noodles, probably the best place for it in Colorado. We also tried the Tomyum, pad Thai, pad-see-u, five flavor fish, chicken wings, and fried rice here, and never had a complaint. One of the best Thai spots in Colorado! The people are always super friendly, and attentive. Today we pigged out and had crab cheese wontons, Tom Kha soup, Pad Thai, and Green Curry! I went here for lunch with some friends. I was trying this place out because I wanted to eat decent Thai food near school (CU Anschutz) and be able to sit down. Our usual place requires a reservation one week in advance to sit down at the one table they have in the restaurant... no thanks. We walked inside and the restaurant was very clean. We were the only ones there because they had just opened for the day. We were immediately seated by the hostess/waitress. My friends and I decided to eat lunch family style so we ordered the Pad Thai (lunch special), Drunken Noodles, and Pineapple Curry to share. We also ordered some crab cheese wontons as an appetizer. The wontons came out first and they were freshly fried and very hot. The wonton wrapper was very crispy and the filling was good. The sauce was different than I was used to, but not bad. The entrees came out next. The pineapple curry was very good, especially considering the temperature was in the single digits that day. They served it with rice and the portion of rice was more than enough for all 3 of us to share. The Pad Thai was good too. It was flavorful and a little saucy; just how I like it. The drunken noodles were just ok. They came with more sauce than I was used to and didn't quite have enough basil for my liking. Overall, the food was pretty good, the restaurant was clean, and the staff was very nice. I would come back here again. read more

Alright you fellow Yelpers, you sorta let me down on this one. I can somewhat only comment on mine as my husband wasn't fond of his meal, the garlic chicken. He ordered his mild and it came with no flavor....sooooo...I can only comment on mine. Hence the reason I can give it 3.2 stars, but I paid attention in math and rounded it to 3.5 stars. Or I rounded it because I can lol. We did get here 40 minutes prior to closing and was seated immediately. However, service was slow and it took at least 10 minuted to order. We did get an appetizer to share. My husband thought the shrimp was chewy, it was but still very good. There was a good size family that came in after us, looked like regulars, as well as a couple other couples that came in much closer to closing time. I got the Royal Thai with beef in medium. Excellent flavor and the spice was perfect for me. They did not have the fried banana rolls wrapped in egg roll paper, which was a bummer. So we opted not to have any desert. However, everything to me tasted great and my husband is willing to go back. He blames it on being tired, which he was. My husband loves Thai food. So I decided to finally try it and of course looked through Yelp to see where to go. So happy for the informative reviews. The food was delicious, the staff was warm and freindly. We were served quickly and really enjoyed the food. It being my first experince with Thai food I am not familiar with what would be considered good but my husband was very impressed. I would have to say my husband's Thai Tea is better but theirs was very good and they provide free refills. The portions are large and we had enough to take home for lunch tomorrow. I came here on a Tuesday night, was seated and served within 15 minutes. This was my first time trying pad thai in Aurora and I walked in with high expectations. When the dish came out, I was surprised to see how big the portion was. Overall, the pad thai was average... I believe they added banana ketchup, which is a first for me. After being spoiled with great Viet food in the past, I could honestly say that this place didn't satisfy my cravings. I'm sure their other dishes are great... I ate here once years ago and frankly don't know why I forgot about it and it took me so long to return. We shared an order of tofu spring rolls and they were fresh and tightly wrapped and very tasty. I then ordered the Pad Thai with tofu, and medium spice. It was fantastic. I wanted to venture out and try something new, but since Pad Thai is the staple of Thai cuisine I couldn't resist. I'm glad I didn't. The portion at dinner was very large and I took half of it home for lunch the next day.... still delicious. The service, while very friendly was slow. It was a Friday evening, yet the dining room was not full at all. I think there were only 2-3 other tables at that time. Only one man seemed to be working the floor and he appeared to be quite flustered. I did notice several people coming in for take out orders. Nonetheless, it seemed slow for a Friday and I was surprised that it took so long to get our order taken. Once it was, however, the food was delivered timely and the waiter did follow up with us a couple of time. I will count this as one of my regular spots. I don't know why it hasn't been until now. Just like how another reviewer said this was the best place for thai food in Aurora but lately everything has gone down hill. Seems like all the noodle dishes are not cooked correctly. The noodles are clumped together and flavorless. My favorite dish was the pad see ewe because it has so much flavor and delicious flat noodles. The past 3 times I've been there, the noodles were all clumped, not a single spice or flavor on the noodles. Chicken very dry. The first time I thought maybe the chief is having a bad day but no this has been going on the past couple time. The menu item I can somewhat trust now is the pad Thai but even then the noodles come out clumped and stuck all together. I really hope they change the way they are cooking their food or they might lose some loyal customers. At least the lady that works at the front desk is very friendly. From the outside this place isn't anything to write home about. The location is ok, I've seen worse and better. The food.... amazing. I've had a bunch of fried rice (chicken, pork, seafood) and am not often impressed. This place is firmly one of my top three. That speaks volumes considering the other two favorites where restaurants I used to work at and where made special from generational recipes. Very large portions and spice is LEGIT. My first time here because my wife spoke highly of it. My order was wrong. Who puts egg in vegetarian drunken noodles...?? We ordered fried tofu as well, which never came. The service was horrible. The waitress spent a lot of time flirting with a table of fat men while ignoring our table. Safe to say, I will not come back. **I am willing to concede the fact that I may have made a mistake with my order. I did not see egg, however I do not remember enough about the specific item to dispute your assertion that it is specified on the menu. However, I vehemently dispute your assertion that you respect your customers and treat them like family members. I witnessed you treating your overweight white customers like royalty, while the minority patrons were left waiting for extended periods with no service, and my table in particular received no service beyond taking our order and bringing out the order. My drink was never refilled, we were never checked on at all, and as I mentioned previously, our order of fried tofu was never delivered to the table. Not only that, when my wife went to pay, the woman who took the payment was extremely rude, and none of us did or said anything to anyone there to justify such treatment. My wife and her family had been frequent patrons in the past, and none of us will ever return. What can I say about Thai Flavor? This is, by far, the best Thai restaurant in the Denver Metro Area... If not all of Colorado. My husband and I go to this restaurant about every two weeks. We always get the Thai Iced Tea, which is the best I've ever tasted. If you have tried Thai Iced tea at other restaurants, and were disappointed, try it here before you completely dismiss it. It really is so much better than what I've had at other Thai places. We order something new every time, and I have yet to be disappointed. The owner is wonderful! He always jokes around with us and loves to give us suggestions of things to try. Our favorites so far are the short rib appetizers, the yellow curry, Massaman Curry, Tom Kha, and of course Pad Thai. And for dessert, the fried bananas are to die for! If you like Thai food, you have to try Thai Flavor. I ordered Thai Pad Kra Pao with chicken (medium, was spicier than I'm used to) and three piece vegetable egg roll for take-out. I've picked up food twice from here. If you call and the line is busy or the answering machine goes on, keep trying. It's well worth it to have your food ready when you come. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall off Mississippi/Peoria. The atmosphere is very casual. There's one way in and one way out of the restaurant. There are To Go paper menus on the table to take home and keep in your car. I placed my order on the phone and 12 minutes later the man called and said my food was ready. I've never had that happen. I thought he was calling to say they were out of something. My favorite Thai dish is the Papaya Salad (Som Tum). I've been going all over the Denver Metro ordering and comparing the Papaya Salad and Coconut Milk Soup (Tom Kha). This Papaya Salad is one of the best I've had in the area and it's only $7.95. Besides the shredded green papaya and carrots, there are sliced tomatoes, cut green beans, whole fresh garlic cloves, chopped peanuts, and a side of raw cabbage. I ordered the salad Thai Hot which was almost too hot for my taste buds. I could see the chilies, but just avoided eating them. Last time I ordered the Rice Soup which is pretty hard to find at most Thai restaurants. It's just a clear broth with a little boiled rice and chicken. It doesn't have a lot of rice like the Chinese porridge or congee. It's very simple and comforting. I used to go to a Thai restaurant in Orlando that served a complimentary bowl of Rice Soup topped with dried garlic and garlic oil. I haven't found another place like that. So I ordered the Coconut Soup with Chicken (Tom Kha). It had thick slices of fresh mushrooms, cilantro, onions, and slices of chicken. The flavor was very good. Again one of the best I've had in the area. You can order the soup with Tofu or Shrimp too and it comes in Medium and Large. I will definitely be back! read more
