We dined in, and the service was ok. The guy was friendly and kind however he didn't seem to know the menu options for dairy or gluten swaps. Food wasn't great. We ordered 4 entrees the ones we usually always get at Thai places and they were subpar. The masamin curry really wasn't very good it was overly salty and wasn't curry but more just tofu and veggies. The tofu wasn't fired very well and some pieces were hard, most of it was overly chewy. Had to ask for water refilled and when he did it had no ice and was warm. After a long day at work, I had to find something that would carb load me satisfy my fried rice need. Which is where Thai Fusion comes in. I had ordered through Door Dash and for some reason they didn't grab any utensils or napkins. Luckily the hotel I'm at had some. Ordered the Bangkok Chicken as no one had any reviews on it and the curiosity in me wanted to try something new. So I got that to pair with my Fried Rice which is what everyone said to get and i'm glad I did. The Bangkok Chicken is a lightly battered chicken covered in the sauce of your choice. It also included mushrooms which they were able to remove because i'm not big on them. Portion was also big enough to split between 2 people. Customer service: 10/10 I place my order over the phone. The young woman was very sweet and nice. Food: 8.9/10 I order the yellow veggie curry with two orders of veggie egg-rolls. The egg rolls comes with sweet and sour sauce which was savory and delicious. The Veggie egg rolls are definitely a 10/10 must try again. Now, the yellow curry was good and could've been better. I felt as if I got too many onions and not enough veggies. They were closing which could've been the reason on why I didn't get as much veggies. Potatoes in the dish were fried and smothered, which gave it like a meaty texture. (Amazingly delicious) The curry sauce was very rich in flavor and a little spicy to be mild. Overall, the experience was super amazing, definitely will check them out again in the near future and hopefully I get more veggies. Cleanliness: 7/10 The inside is very basic theme. I suggest they should do some window cleaning. Too much dust and spider webs hanging around the windows. I didn't get to seat down nor see inside the full establishment but I didn't like the dirty windows. They also give you free mints and utensils, which a little plus. Good food classic In Rockford. Great noodles delicious Thom Ka soup and fresh rolls which are cold. The noodle spice you can add up to hot. I added spice at a medium or a six and it was still flavorful and you could feel some heat and after burn but not sooo hot that you could not taste the flavors and enjoy it. I had the wide noodles with a Thai Curry which was great and also an order of Spicy Pad Thai peanut which is a classic. What would make this even better is a more generous inclusion of vegetables and protein. We both had chicken and there could have been a lot more other than the noodles. read more

they close early SO often without any notice, which is unfortunate because the food is actually pretty good. it's currently 7pm on a friday night and they've already closed for the night even tho their hours are open until 9 and this happens to me EVERY TIME i try to order in the evening. i've only ever had lunch there because it's such a common occurrence. if you're lucky enough to get an answer when you call, give it a try, but definitely don't ever expect them to be actually open. read more

Peanut sauce for the fresh rolls was delightful and a delicious surprise. This review will be based off our latest visit on 4/27/2017 I called about 4pm to place my pickup order and let them know I'd be there around 445pm to get it. Food was there and ready to go when I walked in- the girl that cashed me out was very nice! Although we find Thai Fusion to be a tad expensive, we still love the food. We got all the food a spice level of mild (we have ordered medium before and it was too spicy for us- and we dont mind spice!) Soup & Salad comb ($10.99) - small Thai salad- very good but super small! Good dressing and a piece of fried tofu on top. The Tom Kha Soup- DELICIOUS! Nice size portion. Lots of bamboo, water chestnuts, tofu, and green onions. SO good. I'd order again in a heart beat. Peanut Curry - nice sized portion with LOTS of veggies and chicken. Delicious sauce! This was our favorite of the night. I also liked how they dont put the rice right in the container with the meal.. I prefer the rice on the side. Fusion Combo - A nice sized entree with lots of protein and veggies! Shrimp, beef, pork (not sure I could have identified which one was pork..), and chicken. Good flavor, too. Not disappointed. We always order something different every time we order take out.. fun to explore their menu each time! I had went and picks up a order of chicken rolls, crab wontons and Pad Thai and it all was FABULOUS!!! I will be returning again!! Update Nov. 21, 2015. I went back and had the chicken fried rice and veggie spring rolls. It was totally awesome! My sister had the ginger beef and veggie wok dish. That tasted wonderful also. I have to say this is one of my favorite places to go. By the way, if you want the chicken spring rolls I'm suggesting to go early because they make them fresh daily and when their out they are all out! The order was incorrect (hard to understand gal taking phone order), flavor & quantity was very lacking. Price was high for experience.

The yellow curry noodles under their signature dishes was superb, as was my dining partners pad pak. Veggies cooked just right and chicken was tender and not overcooked. We both had enough leftovers for a second full meal with the oversized portions which we love. The server was friendly and the touch pad system she used ensured our order was taken accurately and made getting the check a synch. I did have two complaints 1. would be the crab ragoons, a bit pricey ($6) for what you got which was mostly cream cheese and a little imitation crab. 2. the up charge for substitutions, to get brown rice or noodles on most dishes was an extra $3, I don't see the cost making sense for the product or the time it takes to boil water.. read more

They had beer on the menu as well so if you can or do enjoy a cold beer or wine with your meal you can get it here. I ordered my chicken and vegetable dish at an eight and my daughter ordered hers at three. The chicken and vegetables were precisely cut and browned in a very hot wok. The sauce was clean and spicy. The young lady taking our order asked if I would like additional space in case it was not hot enough. So good and fresh! Our waitress was darling - even when we walked in 10 minutes before closing. So many gluten free options for us! We went with some safe dishes, since this was our first time in. Now we can't wait to explore more of this menu. However, this wasn't your run-of-the-mill, ordinary Thai food! This place is clean, with a very cool "fusion" aesthetic. It was difficult to decide what to have, but we finally ordered the fresh rolls and the calamari. Both were perfect! We then had pad Thai with shrimp. My favorite part is the rice, it cools down the spice because sometimes the chicken can be a bit too spicy if you have never been there, because at first you don't really know how spicy it will be, unless you have been there many times before. A nice little dine in experience in Rockford if you are interested in pretty delicious Thai food. Decor is pleasing, and depending on your personal spice handling - a meal will be heaven or pure hell (apparently my tastes of spicy dishes is not at all close to their classification of Hot). Overall one of the best places for a light romantic date night or lunch. Food is always delicious, though once in awhile the protein we chose in our dishes was sparse, but since they do so many meals daily it really is not an issue.
