This is definitely a hidden gem of a restaurant. My husband, my son and I sat down to a table that had fancy little silverware holders, with a precisely-folded napkin and silverware inside. The ambiance is pretty typical of any Thai restaurant. Tastefully decorated, not cluttered or tacky at all. The menu was a bit lengthy, but it was nicely laid out and easy to read. The prices are pretty comparable with other Thai restaurants. Our waiter, I believe, was also the owner of the restaurant, a very pleasant gentleman. He was knowledgable about the menu and offered a spice range of 1 (no spice) to 10 (extremely spicy), and anywhere in between. My son ordered the Drunk Mama dish, my husband ordered the Mongolian dish, and after asking if there was soy in it (and mentioning I had a soy allergy), I ordered the Vegetable dish. The waiter assured me they could make it without soy. It was literally only a few minutes when the dishes started coming to the table, piping hot. I had only taken about 2 bites when the waiter came over to the table, took one look at my dish and said, "Oh, let me remake that for you. I can tell this has soy in it." He whisked it away immediately. A few minutes later, I was given a newly prepared dish, without soy, and was told there would be no charge for dinner. I also received many apologies for the mixup. This is one place that genuinely cares about their customers. My vegetable dish was full of tasty, very fresh vegetables, cooked to perfection. All 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The spice levels were perfect, the presentation was nice, and the taste was outstanding. We love Thai food and have tried a lot of them, but this one is now at the top of our list. We live on the south end of Grand Rapids, but we will definitely be back! I'm looking forward to trying many of the other dishes listed on the menu. Taste was great. Tried this restaurant for the first time today. We drive through Cedar Springs daily and this is a great place to grab takeout from on your way home from a long day at work. The food was delicious and hit comfort food levels. We tried Thai Fried Pork, crab ragoons, bacon fried rice, peanut pad thai, and orange chicken. Delicious entrees, very large portions, excellent balance of flavors in Tom Yum soup, Cashew w/added protein, and Drunken Fried Rice (not your typical, actually healthier). The food was delicious, fresh and well-matched to our respective "mild spice" request. The lunch portions were easily double the size of most Thai places...we barely made a dent and took home more leftovers than we typically receive when ordering Thai carry out elsewhere. Wonderful little gem in Cedar Springs. Very large menu. The cashew chicken had lots of cashews, vegetables,and great seasoning. First, the hours are 11am-9pm, closed on Mondays.. Always in search of a good Tom Yum soup, I tried this place. I ordered spice level 2 of 10, and it was enough heat. The cup of soup had lots of chicken, some mushrooms, cilantro, green onions and unexpected chunks of green and red pepper. It lacked the tomatoes and taste of lime/lemongrass that I'm accustomed to. Enjoyed our Thai food. I'd never had green curry before so decided to give it a try. I asked for a description of green curry from our waitress since I'd only had or cooked with red and yellow curry. She said it was pretty mild but I ordered it at a #1 on a scale of 1-10 and was I glad I had! It was delicious but plenty spicy for me. My husband declared way more than a 1 when he tasted it. He had something with a peanut sauce and said it was good but way more " peanuty " than he'd ever had....almost too much. The place looks like an ice cream parlor and they do serve ice cream. The staff is all young girls who are very friendly and an efficient wait staff. The menu is really large. Lots of Thai and Chinese foods to choose from. We had ordered rangoon and were disappointed it didn't have crab like we were used to but they were light and served with a good dipping sauce. read more

I wonder if the locals know that they have a great oriental restaurant in the center of town. "Main Street" was the previous restaurant, so you have to look closer to see the word "Thai" underneath the Main Street sign. Had Tom Yum fried rice twice in one week. Excellent flavors and textures. Good food for sure. Tom yum was very good and my wife's green curry was the super star of the meal. My dish was fine it could have had more Thai basil. They kind messed up our heat levels and they forget our spring roll appetizer but all and all the services was acceptable. read more

I made reservations online at 5 p.m. for 6:45 the same day. The booth was all ready set up for us with menus and silverware w we arrived . We were greeted with a smile and a friendly face while she took our drink order and brought our drinks out. We then ordered some appetizers. Egg drop soup and Tom Kha soup with shrimp and some Rangoon. The Rangoon arrived hot and crispy. And both of the soups were tasty with fresh vegetables in them. We then ordered Pad Thai with shrimp, Massaman Curry with chicken and Sweet and Sour crispy chicken stir fried,to share. The first thing I tried was the Massaman Curry with chicken, I couldn't stop saying yum with every bite. The sauce tastes like it has been simmered for hours. All of the other foods were delicious and fresh! This place is in a strip mall in Cedar Springs. It is small,but has a lot of seating inside. I think they have an outdoor space to eat as well. I had read some good reviews, so we decided to try some items from the menu ourselves. We had the gyoza and soup first. Both were very good! The Tom Yum was too hot for me, but I love everything very mild. I then chose the Massaman Curry and my husband chose the Pad Cha. I had asked for level 1 heat, and it was still too spicy for me, but it was delicious. I will ask for zero next time. The Pad Cha was a hit at level 3 heat level. We enjoyed both items with jasmine rice. Our bill was very reasonable for what we ate. We will definitely be going back to try more choices. A big bonus is that we had a short drive! read more
