    Crab Rangoon

Food was fantastic! We started with Crab Rangoon, and it was so refreshing to have dipping sauce other than the usual orange sweet and sour sauce. I had the Gang Ga Li with chicken, and my husband had Pad Pak with chicken. They were both savory, although the Pad Pak was not at all spicy. It was supposed to be medium spicy. The food retained its heat the entire meal. The service could not have been any better. They were very attentive and quick! The tables and booths were nicely spaced, There was just an annoying diner who appeared to be listening to a podcast using his speaker phone.

Stopped in on Friday for lunch to grab take out. After calling in our order they said it would be 20-30 minutes. When we got there to be greeted immediately and food was ready. The drinkin noodles were the perfect flavor and so delicious. We had ours with chicken and it was tender yummy. We also got a garlic pad thai with tofu. I wish there was more flavor and did not like the tofu but my friend loved it. Reasonably priced lunch size servings. Will be back!

We love this place! They always do such a good job, huge portions, and quality service. We've been here many times and will be back many more. Highly recommend!! (Thursday at 5pm was busy! The whole place filled up)

A friend of mine recommended I try this place. I ordered the pad garlic "spicy". Carry out, was just passing through for work, so I couldn't rate the actual restaurant but it really doesn't matter THE FOOD IS FIVE STAR! definitely worth the trip, and shall return!

Really wish they would open a location in GR, because this our favorite Thai Restaurant, hands down! The Thai restaurants in GR are not bad, but if Thai Avenue weren't all the way in Zeeland, it would be our number 1 pick every single time. My husband and I ordered $76 worth of food (talk about your eyes being bigger than your stomach...oops) yesterday after church, and our order was ready in about 15-20 minutes. We ordered the Calamari for our appetizer - the breading wasn't too thick, and the calamari pieces were large. It also wasn't chewy, which is a huge plus! For our meals, we ordered the following: Kao Soi - Combination of Egg or Rice Noodles in a sweet yellow curry broth topped w/ bean sprouts, onions, & fresh basil served w/ pickled cabbage. Larb w/ Chicken - Minced chicken tossed w/ fresh romaine lettuce, slices cucumbers & sticky rice, Pad Ka-Prao Gai - Traditional diced stir fried chicken w/ mixed bell peppers, onions, Thai chili peppers & basil, topped w/ sunny side egg. Goong Pow - Grilled marinated jumbo shrimp served w/ zesty spicy chef's sauce & sticky rice. Somtom - Fresh shredded green papaya, Thai chili, garlic, cherry tomatoes. Tossed w/ zesty lime dressing topped w/ roasted peanuts. Served w/ sticky rice. Yes, again - our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs, but that's okay, because these taste even better as leftovers! We ordered a Spice Level 4 (out of 5) for all of our dishes, which tasted great going in, but didn't feel great coming out. Not only do we love the food for the flavor, but I can honestly say that their takeout portion sizes are much bigger than any of the other Thai restaurants that we've ordered from. We've already had two meals out of the order, and can make at least one more meal out of the leftovers. $76 for 6 meals? Worth it.

the service is always nice.Food is great. If you like spicy ask for the thai hot but if your crazy ask for the Loas hot. That will go down burning and out the same way. Overall great little place.

I love this place. Their chicken ginger rice soup is a go to whenever anyone in my house isn't feeling well. It's salty, with small pieces of chicken, rice, and cilantro, it will cure any ailment, guaranteed. Their veggie pad woon sen is my favorite entree by far. It's glass noodles and tons of tender veggies in a smoky rice sauce but it isn't very saucy it's just enough to coat the noodles and veggies. Their pho is always great. I recently tried the veggie pho and it has a rich flavor with tons of fresh veg. The super egg rolls are a must try. They are skinny and long egg rolls packed with glass noodles, ground pork, and a little cabbage. They come with a clear dipping sauce that's slightly sweet and so good. They are always super quick for takeout. Lunch can be touchy if you dine in. They are usually really busy and the wait staff is really good but it can get a little slow. They have booth and table seating and it's a pretty standard Thai restaurant feel.

I heard a lot about this place and finally got the opportunity to give it a try. I placed an order for carry out and got the 4 piece spring rolls, papaya salad, tofu pad Thai, shrimp drunken noodles, green curry with beef, and chicken gang massamun, and Twat-Pah. Everything was really good and the portions are worth it. I have gotten half the serving at another restaurant for a similar price. The service was great as well. It looks like they haven't been back to indoor dining yet, but I would continue to support doing carry out.

My favorite Thai place in the Holland/Zeeland area. The food is always plated in an aesthetic way and enormous servings! I can hardly ever finish my meal which is fine for leftovers :) I always recommend this place and it's my go-to Thai place to dine in or take out. Their tofu is amazing compared to a lot of other restaurants I've been to. Only thing I would say that isn't the best is the restaurant could use an update on seating. The booth we sat in had a lot of damage. But other than that we were completely satisfied!

When my Food arrived I requested to have my fries remade since they were NOT HOT & had most likely been sitting under a light ( is my guess ) for a while. After 25 minutes fresh fries did arrive but as you might imagine now my sandwich was COLD.I asked my waitress ( who was lovely in every way!!!! ) to please send a manager over so I could express my frustration. The manager was apologetic & comped my food - but fun fact,I now had a cold sandwich with hot fries. Literally one was switched for the other. Although I appreciate the slight concern, it would have been nice to offer me an altogether HOT meal complete with everything HOT at the same time.Am I asking too much? I didn't get a meal that day- just some hot fries.....& actually the thought of this still annoys me. Please consider the entire meal & remember,I came to EAT not "negotiate " 1/2 of a HOT meal. Very good but a tad too salty for our taste. So many times when restaurants try to cook a variety of different Asian dishes from multiple countries you end up w/a variety of mediocre dishes. This wasn't the case w/Taste of Asian where each dish had its own unique blend of seasonings that made it unique to the country being represented. Our host Lena was very helpful in helping us choose our dishes. The young girl (probably her daughter came out to check on our needs several times). The crab Rangoon wonton wrapper is thick, too thick and heavy. The creamed cheese inside has an odd texture and leaves an unpleasant after taste, not what I expected, super sweet. Color looks odd. The whole thing is off and doesn't taste right. The dipping sauce is not quite duck sauce or what I expected either. I have a feeling today's lunch will be interesting. I am hopeful the rest of the apps and meal goes better than the first starter. The chicken satay is super dry. The peanut sauce is thick as heck. The spring roll had some older lettuce, not great. The sauce was not peanut sauce, just topped with peanuts was all. The fried rice is meh, nothing special. The main dishes aren't big portions. The drunken noodles aren't too bad, small portion, which is fine. The drunken noodle was the best part of the meal, that's not a good thing. Service and most of the apps and food leaves much to be desired.
