Beef pho (Bowl from Moes because I wasn't given one)

Amazing service, extremely mediocre food. I'm a huge pho fan and this place didn't even hit near the mark. Flavorless and served to me in a carry out rather than a soup bowl.

Great food, good service. I tried this place on a whim, and it definitely did not disappoint. Food made to order, I got the basil catfish and it was excellent. Ambiance was a tad dark on the inside and traffic in the area is tricky. But if you're looking for something different for dinner, check them out.

If you're craving authentic Thai cuisine and a cozy ambiance, Thai Time is a must visit in McDonough, GA. I have been coming here for years and am impressed by the thoughtful updates they've made. This charming eatery serves up delicious dishes and has real spice in their food scaling from 1-5 (5 being the spiciest). My favorites are the Basil Duck, Papaya Salad, and Angel Wings. I either pair them with a nice Thai Tea or one of the Thai Beers (Singha or Chang). The service is consistent and they definitely match energy. It's what I love about them! Over time, a few of their policies, website, and hours have updated. These changes reflect their commitment in ensuring that their staff is treated fairly and can work in a well-supported environment. It's refreshing to see a restaurant that prioritizes their team, especially in the world we live in now. Their most frequent website is: thaitimemcdonough.weebly.com Their hours are: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 11:30am-3:00pm (the kitchen closes at 2:30pm) & 4:00pm-8:00pm (the kitchen closes at 7:30pm). Tuesday - closed all day Friday & Saturday 11:30am-3:00pm (the kitchen closes at 2:30pm) & 4:00pm-9:00pm (the kitchen closes at 8:30pm). I do recommend planning your visits accordingly (whether you're dining in, walking in and taking out, or calling over the phone) since the kitchen closes 30 mins before their closing time and no orders will be taken. If you're also looking for delivery services they offer them through Ubereats, Grubhub, and Doordash.

The waitress was very friendly. Our food came out in a decent amount of time and it was hot and delicious. I ordered Angel hair pasta with chicken and. My husband ordered pecan chicken. They were both so delicious but huge portions so I had a pretty big take home meal.. I also had for dessert some crème brûlée. It was delicious as well. I did not get a picture of it. I forgot. I highly recommend this place. We've been here twice and it has been a perfect experience both times

My recommendation is to Uber and then enjoy the square. I was meeting someone for lunch and this was in the middle from our destination. It had great reviews and pasta and was what I was craving. It's a small, warm and inviting little place. Service is fast and good. Menu is limited which is not a bad thing but enough variety. I absolutely loved my fettuccine. The pasta was made fresh and you could seriously taste the difference between fresh made and boxed pasta. The crème brûlée was on point and a great finish to lunch. I had plenty of left overs. If you're in the area, definitely stop in and get you some fresh pasta! This is located on the corner next to Queen Bee's Coffee shop.

After kayaking all day we were hungry and decided to grab some take out on the way home. I went…read morefor convenience versus my usual review checks... I was trying to order online on the way there but prices were all over the place, they do not have a specific ordering platform and recommended just calling ahead next time to avoid all those ridiculous charges.... So first off, the girl behind the counter according to my receipt, Bethany, was exactly who you would want representing your front counter for customer impressions. Helpful, friendly and knowledgeable, I greatly appreciate her patience as I know I am a difficult (basic) order placer. I asked about the fried tofu and she informed me the differences. I wanted fried tofu with the honey garlic sauce they use on honey garlic chicken. They only had garlic sauce so that would be fine on the side. At home I ended with General Tso's sauce and the garlic sauce. I am not a fan of the red sauce so I cannot share the flavor thoughts. The garlic sauce was brownish and I am a visual person, I am used to the garlic sauce being golden. I dipped a tofu nugget in to taste still but opted not to use it, it had ok flavor. The fried tofu however was mushy, not crispy. Safe to assume it was silken tofu and not extra firm, it was very bland and watery. The vegetable fried rice had no flavor, I assume I am used to using my garlic sauce to give a little punch to my vegetable fried rice (no seasoning taste, like basic white rice without salt or seasoning mixed with some veggies) on the norm, so maybe that was why it lacked? I don't use the packets or soy sauce, like I said I am pretty basic, maybe those could've helped. We did get Crab Rangoon, more like a little cream cheese squished between some dough and not crispy or crunchy almost liked baked just to warm them up, soggy. Normally I will eat them all and let the hubby eat one, not the case this time. Lastly, the husband had the Singapore Mei Fun with shrimp only and it looked disappointing when I saw it, looked just liked curried noodles with some shrimp... no color, texture or taste from other normally inclusive veggies, so when I asked how it was because he only ate a little, said it was a one and done. When I eat out I like a good cheat meal that I know is not my best choice, but it's definitely something we do not normally eat. As we are trying to stay local, we will continue till we find the right fit. In this economy it seems like $49.25 isn't a lot of money if the food was good. But when you didn't enjoy the meal, it's a lot.
