This place is hands down one of the best spots in town for vegan options. The Thai iced tea with coconut milk is f i r e! ;d We usually go family-style and always order the larb, cashew stir-fried tofu, and vegan pad Thai those three are absolute must-tries if you're vegan. They've got plenty more vegan and vegetarian-friendly options on the menu too, which makes it easy to come back and try something new. And the staff? Super friendly and actually knowledgeable about what can be made vegan, which always makes the experience even better. I do wish that they could improve on their vegan curry. In general Thai places are really good in Washington. This Thai house was no different. I tried Khao Soi. It was decent but not the best I have tried. When you have such good collection of Thai restaurant all across your states, the standards just goes up and that's the only reason for a 4 start. Ambience is pretty cool. Loved it. read more

I am a big fan of Thai food and for some reason I had never tried the Thai House in downtown Mount Vernon, they made a fan out of me! We arrived right before the dinner rush and got our orders in quick. We had a Thai Iced Tea that was very good, easily the best I've had. Our server, Kaley, was very attentive and friendly. I ordered the Pad Thai with tofu, 3 stars, I like spicy and I think I would order 4 stars next time, but my dinner was outstanding. My friend ordered the Golden Garlic Seafood dish and it was also excellent. I like the atmosphere at the Thai House, although the kitchen is a bit noisy, which I actually find interesting since I used to be a line cook. I will definitely keep the Thai House in mind the next time we are craving Thai Food. read more

Quick service. Order was quickly delivered after ordering. The waiter was very nice. She was spot on with everything. And my wife's level 0 spice and my level 5 spice were perfectly prepared. I've been to this restaurant several times when passing through Mount Vernon. It has a very comfortable and clean interior. The employees are all very friendly and helpful. The food is pretty standard Thai offerings and always seems fresh. Obviously, I enjoy it enough to return, but I can't say anything spectacular about it. read more

This Thai place is 10/10 , decided to stop here right off I-5 , parking is kinda hard but worth it. The Tom Yum noodle soup is not your typical Tom yum which is what I thought I was getting but still was amazing ( order their other Tom YUM for just that ) we did to go and the portions were generous. I usually get the pad Thai to go. It's reasonably priced and delicious! Really good flavors and decent portions. Not too spicy, so if you want heat, order 3 stars. This used to be one of my favorite places for Thai food. The "Happy Family" dish recently ordered was not a happy experience. The mixture of seafood was either overcooked, and hard to find due to minute portions. My companion' s selection was drowning in peanut sauce. The appetizer platter had calamari rings while tasty, were cold and soggy. We had no complaints with the service but were disappointed in the quality of the food. We'll seasoned with a reasonable size portion and good presentation; did not include rice or noodles. The restaurant remained busy throughout our dining experience. Though the downtown MT Vernon has potential to be a cute place most of the stores are empty, that's why it's a surprise to find such a great place. We've come here off and on over the years. Usually during off peak hours. It's definitely a mixed bag. One time we came by for dinner. They are supposed to open at 4:00. We peaked in the window and saw the owner at one of the tables checking his emails. He looked up at us and then continued to check his phone. We went for a walk and came back and the doors still weren't open. The last time we came by, the wait staff was very kind, and everything was great until they started getting busy.
