It's a cute little restaurant. I ca around 5:30pm and it wasn't that busy, but seemed like people liked it. I got to choose where I sat. And there were menus on the table. I the waiter came stopping and took my order quite quickly. I ordered the egg rolls and a largbrisket phõ. The egg rolls were crunchy and very flavorful. The sauce with the egg rolls was sweet. The pho broth was really savory, but a little too oily. I added all of the sides and hoisin and siracha to it, which helped a little.

The people there are super friendly. I had a couple of banh mi sandwiches to go and a noodle plate with grilled pork. I also had the pork skewers and fried tofu. The peanut sauce with the tofu was thick and a little heavy on the peanut flavor, it could use a little dilution with the amazing sweet fish sauce. Some condiments other than Sriracha would be appreciated on the table, but that's a minor complaint. The pork skewers were delicious! A little char would make them top tier, but the flavor was so good it didn't really matter. The banh mi sandwiches were delicious as well, but needed more jalapeños to balance them out. I'm nitpicking at this point. I highly recommend giving them a try or three.

There are about 8 tables inside, so a small family type spot. It was clean, and only two other parties were there when we arrived. The employee pointed at the tables and told us to sit wherever we'd like. She brought us menus, and waters. It seemed like she was working alone as we had to wait a bit to order and etc. The food was flavorful, but the egg roll was a bit dry. There aren't many Vietnamese options in the area, so I'd say this is definitely one of the top ones, if not the top one, in the area. Lots of parking and convenient location, as it's near the shops where we'd usually run any errands.

Considering the city it's in, I think a very good pho place. Its authentic, but slightly caters to american. The broth was a little sweet, but it was still good. The spring rolls were a bit small and had little ingredients. Ordered the grill pork coi cuon (spring rolls) and was a little disappointed. The meat was obviously pre cooked and warmed up when ordered. It was burnt and a little on the hard side. Not a bad place if you want to get close to authentic pho.

Don't let the tacky façade and decor dissuade you from ordering food here. My dad and I had Thai iced teas, fresh spring rolls, and a mango salad. All were fantastic. The ingredients were fresh and crunchy and delicious. The mango salad was 80% mangoes with carrots, sliced almonds and sweet chili sauce topped with three skewers of four shrimp each with diced onion between -- fantastic! The fresh rolls were filled with chicken vegetables, lettuce, and a little bit of noodles and rice. It was a very nice balance. Service was friendly and quick. I hope they have the chance to improve the look of the restaurant from the outside, as well as the inside in the future. The food alone is worth coming back for!

The pho was good. Broth was decent. It's missing that umami fish sauce for a more aunthentic taste. Lots of meat! I like how they did individual plates of bean sprouts/thai basil and lime. Ask for the garlic chili oil. Puts a little spice to the pho. The fresh spring rolls were just alright in my book. Not something I'd order again. Had the strawberry smoothie, it's not one I'd order again either. Service was ok. Alot of the tables needed to be cleared and cleaned.

Well it's been a while since we tried this place again and let me tell you. Things have changed for the better! We got steak pho, shrimp fresh rolls, chicken mango salad and a Vietnamese iced coffee and wow! The mango salad might be my new favorite dish in mount Vernon. It was fresh, bright, healthy, full of flavor like ginger and simply amazing. It has a ton of mango (quite unripe which I understand is a thing) but a pleasant surprise. Everything else was top notch. Coffee was strong and super good too. The lady at the front counter was full of smiles and very kind. I recommend this place hands down. We don't eat out very often so it's a BiG treat when we do and this really made it worth it! Thanks for a wonderful dinner!

My go to Vietnamese restaurant. I love the fresh rolls and the combination bun. We eat here almost every time we come to Mount Vernon.

Is dining open here yet ? I'm surprised how many restaurants in Burlington have not opened their seating areas yet !? We are in phase 2 now?

FYI- We will open for indoor seating after this EASTER

I found this " vegetable and tofu" roll the most bland I've had. No herb, sauce , crunch.... I am a fresh roll lover, so a little discerning, but this was truly flavorless. Tofu, rice noodles, leaf lettuce and rice paper. Thats it. Like eating a carrier for too little peanut sauce. The pho was filling and came with a plate of bean sprouts referred to as "the vegetables" . The Vietnamese coffee was tasty but presentation awkward. It came as Condensed milk in a cup with a pour- over atop this and the separate glass of ice. I'm no expert in this ritual but I am accustomed to having the milk cold in the ice and the brewed coffee in a spouted vessel for easy pouring into the iced milk. Here we had to mix the brewed coffee, then add it dribbling and spilling to the ice. No big deal but awkward. It tasted good. The prices were reasonable and parking a lot shared with the strip mall . Not within the restaurant's control , but in circling for a spot around one lane, I was nearly backed into by not 2 not 3 but 4 cars. I think I recall a cannabis shop being in the mall or nearby. This may explain that. The service was friendly throughout. The place was empty but the time was odd. I don't think we'd return based upon the fresh rolls alone.

I ordered #31, thought the broth was a bit bland but perhaps I've just been spoiled by Vancouver (BC) pho spots. It was quite busy the whole time we were there and it's clear they have a dedicated following. Generous with their bean sprout quantity. A random thing to note is their washroom doesn't have a bag/jacket hook so hopefully you have a friend that can hold onto your stuff while you use the gender neutral washroom, or better yet, plan your visit before you leave your table.

To kick off our experience we started with the fried pork sticky buns, and they did not last long. The crispy fried crust had a very unique texture, and contrasted wonderfully with the soft warm inside of sticky buns with BBQ pork filing. Next we dug into the Fried Combo, which included Egg Rolls, Potstickers and Crab Rangoon. The Egg Roll & Potstickers were unforgettable, but the Crab Rangoon was the real star of the show. Creamy crab filling wrapped in fried wonton paper, and some sweet chili sauce to dip in. Moving on to the entrees we shared the Beef & Shrimp Fried Noodle plate, and the Grilled Chicken Banh Mi. The fried noodles contained tender beef and succulent shrimp stir-fried with yellow noodles, Cabbage, Shredded Carrot, crisp bean sprouts, and garnished with fresh cilantro. The dish was very flavorful, with all the fresh veggies and spices tying together the noodles, shrimps and beef. Finally the banh mi. I will admit I have never tried a banh mi sandwich, but I am very glad this was my first one. All the vegetables on top provided an excellent crunch and the chicken was very tender with an amazing flavor. I also added picked jalapeño for an extra touch of heat. All in all this is a very great choice for anyone in the mood for some great Vietnamese cuisine. We will definitely be going into the restaurant next time to try something else!
