I'd never been here until yesterday. Didn't know it was order online & pickup, so just walked up to the drive-thru window. The window quickly opened by a wonderful smiling gentleman named Ed. He was so friendly and helpful. I picked the Pad Ke Mao and a Phad-Thai. He asked me where I parked and I pointed to the lot on the other side of the building. He let me know he'd bring the food right out as soon as it was ready. In about 8 minutes he walked up to my car and handed me a super heavy bag with my food in it. I couldn't wait to taste the dishes before heading home so I sat and opened each box. To say that I was surprised by the quantity of food would be an absolute understatement. It was hot, fresh, smelled amazing, and my first bites were epic! The food was by far the very best Thai I've had around here. The flavors were balanced, the noodles were perfection, and everything was ultra fresh. I pulled up to the drive-thru to see the owner again and pay he and his wife a much deserved compliment. Their food and kindness superseded my every expectation. What wonderful people and food, definitely worth it. The next time I'm craving Thai this is my new go-to spot. read more

The high reviews had me excited about trying this place. I found it mildly disappointing. Perhaps I'm spoiled by all the great Thai restaurants in Seattle. The flavors were OK. I was very disappointed in their tofu. It felt like it had been sitting in the refrigerator, and then tossed into the wok. It didn't taste like it had been prepared fresh. I ended up tossing out half of the meal. I appreciated the drive up window for takeout food. The staff was friendly and kind. I also found it a little expensive for the quality. My Pad Thai had an overwhelming amount of sugar and was very difficult to eat after a while. It has excellent flavor but I have never had it this disturbingly sweet. I took breaks in between eating but every bite was gooey and a glucose mess. I really hope the chef reads this and sees that more isn't always better! Please tone it back. The Pad See Ew was very delicious and hit all the right notes, was very pleased with it. He ate just about all of it but the portion was so big he couldnt quite finish it. And the spice accuracy was perfect. I can't stress enough that this has too much sugar. I don't think I can eat the leftovers. This is a take out only Thai restaurant, and it also has some outside seating with umbrellas. There is a takeout window that you can either drive or walk up to. You can also call ahead for easy pick up. The owner is incredibly friendly and makes delicious food. The portions are also enormous. My husband and I could've easily split one entree but I am happy to have a late night snack and lunch for tomorrow. We ordered the Pad Kee Mao and the mussumun curry and both were really good, but the curry was my favorite. We really enjoyed it here and we're glad we found it! read more

Let down. Sauce or paste way too tangy on the pad Thai, and the nodded were kinda stuck to each other and tasted over cooked. Weren't the nicest when I tried to do substitution. You call ahead and order, and then pick your food up at a drive through window. So easy. Portions are large and three dishes with tax about $20 each. Worth every penny. How quaint! Dinner time called and since my co-worker hasn't ventured much into "exotic" foods, we decided to come here... He got fried rice. It's a nice evening and the sunset shines inside quite nicely. The family staff is nice (the daughter seating us and the dad doing orders) and friendly. The wife seems to own it but the dad was out helping and he was fun to chat with regarding his worldly ventures for his own business. I got the Garlic Supreme... it was great. I wish I'd tasted the garlic better, if much was there. I noticed a small hair in it towards the end; I brought it to their attention but I wasn't sure if it was me or them. So good! We are very glad we ignored the bad yelp reviews and trusted the good. The Thai Ice Tea--really good! The Phad Thai wasn't the best I've had, but it was ok. The curry-wow. Amazing! We had the Tropical Beef Curry, 3 star. The rice had to be ordered separately. I also got the Keemoe. Very flavorful! It looks like a dive and was rather cold inside, but the food was well worth eating here. Want good atmosphere? Get it to go. The service was great and we learned they get their curry straight from Thailand, their noodles fresh from Seattle, and their veggies from local grocery stores. Highly recommend! Found this on yelp and reviews were decent so decided to try. To start with I tried Pad Thai which was decent but then the downward journey started !! I ordered a vegetarian Massanan curry which was served to me after 20 mins and that too with Chicken !!! This hidden gem is located in Burlington, Washington of all places. This little restaurant is nothing fancy. Liked the ambiance. Service was beyond excellent. The owner made us feel like we were guests visiting his home. Friendly and helpful. Wife and I both ordered lunch specials. I had the Pad Thai, rice, mixed vegetables, and salad combo. Wife had the Pad Thai, rice, massaman chicken curry combo. Both were delicious. If you like Pad Thai that is a bit sweeter than normal, then this is for you. I like mine on the sweeter side so I thoroughly enjoyed the Pad Thai! That Massaman Curry was very flavorful, and the perfect mixture of spices. One of the best curries that I have eaten anywhere. Let me preface this by saying I've only been here once during an extremely busy lunch hour so take this review with a grain of salt. This place had a very satisfied clientele sprinkled with obviously pleased regulars. One left when she found they were out of their popular pork Great reviews so I thought I'd check out this hidden gem in the rough. The hardworking owner was accomodating and the rest of the staff was generously hospitable. The bustling establishment was quaint in an authentically Thai meets mod kind of way. Why 3 stars? Not exactly spotless or efficient, I was chomping at the bit to get my order. I started with an app then asked for my pad thai to go after seeing people who arrived 10 minutes after me get their pad thai. The glaring problems - my pad thai was wokked at the same time as customers who ordered five minutes after me and who received a beautiful platter heaped with lots of colorful vegetables. A few minutes later I got an abundance of noodles with a ridiculously sparse amount of veggies and chicken. The problem was that they served up the other party's dish with a great distribution of the ingredients. I received what was left in the wok a few minutes later and it wasn't pretty. It was 95% overly sweet noodles. So so sweet was the only flavor I sensed in this one note dish. I'd asked for a level 3 heat level out of 5. I guess the other table ordered "no heat" because that is what I got. My veggie rolls were greasy. I think they'd been cooked in oil that was not hot enough. Grrr. In my haste to finally get out of there I didnt peruse the check. I was handed a $6.95 appetizer order of 2 chicken satay skewers by mistake. I explained that I had not ordered it but was sporting some severe back pain so smiled and acquiesced instead of waiting for them to correct their error. Ended up pitching all but a couple of bites of my noodles garnished with a smidgeon of other ingredients in the traditional Thai dish as well as 3 of the 4 rolls. I was so disappointed and am questioning my judgment since I actually want to give this place a chance to match its reputation. We've eaten here twice. I'm so disappointed tonight because my last experience, after rave reviews from friends and family, was so amazing. My meal was on point and the service was above and beyond. Unfortunately that wasnt the case this time. We ordered to go and then were shooed off to go run some errands and come back to pick our food up. There were only 2 other tables at this point so it put me off quite a bit. We ordered 2 pad thai dishes, one beef one pork, some potstickers and a side of rice for our son as well as a thai tea. When ordering a "beef spice level 2" the kid said "2 orders?" And did not give the option for any spice variance. We received 2 pad Thais (both with 0 spice) one beef one labeled chicken so either very dry rubbery reheated chicken or possibly just dry pork, and potstickers. With a watered down thai tea (mostly ice and cream), no rice. Since we had already been there twice for one meal we weren't going to go back again for a side of rice. The pad thai was rubbery all around. The meat was dry, the noodles over cooked and the toppings left quite a bit to be desired. Since we had pad thai and curry there last time, we are comparing the dish to our previous experience with it. Unfortunately, it was completely different staffing tonight than the past and I am confident that is the varied factor, but it's too bad that it's such a huge difference in quality between the owner and the employees. read more

A great happy family owns this restaurant. The prices are way too good to be true, since they give so much! Their lunch specials are huggggge. Now that's what I call a SPECIAL! Daughter seems to be able to multi-task with studying & serving our needs. The dad starts up a great conservation. My husband is a vegetarian & since he is very picky of where to go...this place is REAL vegetarian. Their broth is not chicken, beef, or pork broth. They use fresh vegetables and fresh tofu in their soup for you veggies & tofu lovers :) They cleaned up a lot since the last time I've been here. They got new floors, new tables, and even an ice cream freezer! So when you're done eating, you can head over to that ice cream freezer and pick up a strawberry shortcake. Just like they would do in Thailand since I have been there. My most favorite thing to eat here is the L-14! Prawns stir-fried in fresh vegetables, phad thai noodles, and steamed jasmine rice. with a salad on the side (: I absolutely love their fresh crushed red peppers. It's a lot spicier than any other Thai place. It's not Americanized peppers for those wimps out there. And what's even better at this place?! A drive-thru! What Thai restaurant do you know, that has a drive-thru? If you don't want to wait in an awkward silence in the restaurant waiting for your food, you can just chill in your car at the window. The draw here is the very friendly service. I'm not quite certain, but it appears to be a family operation, and everybody is very nice and makes the customer feel appreciated. The drawback is that my wife and I came here three times only to find the restaurant closed for different reasons, spelled out on a note attached to the door. It would say "Back on Monday," or something similar. But, the food is delicious, and it was worth the effort to eat here. With all the Yelp reviews, I thought it would be busier than it is. We had stopped here a couple times earlier, and they were closed, once on Sunday and once when they had their food truck at a local arts fair. The food is delicious and so glad we tried again. I ordered wide noodles fried with chicken and veges, hub ordered the Tamarind Special. Both were flavorful, had fresh veges and just right spices. Plus they brought out a house ground pepper special for an extra kick. Edward, the owner is a wonderful host, so friendly and thoughtful, and his wife cooks the great food. They are also a hit at a few PNW fairs and festivals. Not to be missed, although you need GPS to find their restaurant set back from Burlington Boulevard behind a pocket park and next to a tire store. The converted house shows Edward's attention to detail. The room is tastefully decorated, uses glass top tables that add an upscale air, and a nicely laid out, colorful menu. read more
