I liked the Thai house last time I went. However, this time didn't go over very well. My fiance did not like his sweet and sour pork dish, and he likes everything, which was weird. I tried it and discovered the pork to be grisly and fatty, and the vegetables in it to be really undercooked. The sauce was not good. The peanut pad thai that I got was pleasant, but nothing extraordinary. The egg drop soup (we only got one because they were out--I'm not sure how you run out of soup at a restaurant that has it for a side, but that's not a huge deal) was horrible. I love egg drop soup but this was more like egg drop porridge with a half cup of salt in it. Nasty. The service was really not great at all. Our server didn't refill our waters until we were about to leave, and we had to find someone else to take care of our check for us because our server was nowhere to be found. He also did not check to see how anything was until we were already done with it, which wasn't a big deal, mostly just funny. I know how hard it is to serve because I am a waitress, but this guy's service was really below the mark for me. We did, however, get some fried bananas with honey. Those were amazing. I might come here again for dessert if not anything else. Coconut ice cream is also fantastic. Our experience this time was not a good one and we won't be back, no hard feelings but I wouldn't eat here again as long as Black Pearl is in the valley. read more

KenKaid the dishwasher is the best server. I ordered four orders of cream cheese wontons and he delivered them all for me one by one. The service was really quick and well worth it even though he forgot to give me the sauce that the wontons came with. He's also very funny and tells the best dad jokes. Tipped 100%. read more

Haven't had a bad meal there yet. Menu is a little on the small side, but everything is fresh and delicious. Atmosphere is quiet and they don't rush you. We like it as a date place because you can talk and they don't try to push you out. The curry puffs are a must have appetizer. Chicken curry noodles are the best. Typical Thai favorites all done well. Spiciness varies on request, but err on the low side because I've found it to be inconsistent. read more

As soon as we walked in the staff were very friendly and pleasant. We ordered the house curry, the chicken satay, pad see ew and a couple of sides of white rice. We received all of the food within 10 minutes of ordering. The noodles were delicious, the chicken was tender and the curry was great as well. I have been here four times now - twice we got take-out and twice we dined in. As such I feel like I have some good experience to write a review. The good: most of the items we've ordered have been very good: pad Thai, pad kee mai, pad see ewe, house curry, massaman curry, thai dumplings, and curry puffs. I am from Seattle - home of amazing Asian food, and many of the dishes here are good. The bad: the service is absolutely the worst service I've ever encountered over and over again. It's one thing to get occasional bad service on an off night but this place is ridiculous. Twice we've come to order take-out. The first time my husband waited for 90 minutes - and yes we know it was that long since we were texting. I was home with a hungry child and kept asking for updates. Since this first time was within two weeks of them opening, we decided to give them another chance at take-out. We thought we'd call first but their phone was busy after multiple attempts so I went in. This second time I waited for 55 minutes from when I ordered my food and when they brought it to me. The worst part of both experiences is that staff never comes over to check in. I understand a busy night, new staff, or even if they flat out forgot our order, but you owe it to your customers to check in and explain. For over 20 minutes of my time no server would even make eye contact with me. People walked by quickly and ignored me sitting or standing waiting trying to get someone's attention. Someone ran away from my husband when he tried to get help. No apology, no complimentary entree or free appetizer for my trouble, no complimentary beverage and NO ONE even offered me an ice water for having to wait almost an hour (90 minutes for my husband). This is such poor customer service its laughable. After both take out experiences when our food finally arrived they sent out a young teenager to deliver our food. It felt very deliberate that we were not going to complain or make a stink to a child. Instead, if you screw up you should send out the manager to apologize and make things right. But bravo, Thai House, I am not going to yell at a teenager. Then today at lunch I feel they pushed us over the edge. I ordered tom kha soup which is a soup I love, have had many times, and have made myself. It was absolutely inedible. I have never sent anything back but I had to send it back because neither my husband or I could eat more than a few bites. First of all it was bright orange which was a surprise since nothing in tom kha gai is orange. I figured their recipe may use red curry paste which was fine since I like all curries. The problem is that it was too salty. So salty that after eating 3 bites or so I could not swallow it. So salty that I am fairly sure there was a mistake made - either they added too much fish sauce or forgot to mix the curry paste at the correct amount. Another reviewer reported the dish broth being good and I guarantee no one could eat this so it must have been a mistake. It tasted like a bouillon cube. It took forever for our waitperson to come back and check on us and I sat there not eating while my husband nearly finished his dish. I tried to explain to our server that it was too salty and I think something went wrong. She offered to give me more soup for free but I did not feel like she understood me since she kept saying it was too spicy and I kept correcting her that it was too salty. So I ordered something else. When it was time to bring our bill she told us she would have to charge us for the soup since we ordered it and they made it. ABSOLUTELY NOT. If you make something inedible that the patron did not eat you do not charge them for it! We ate 5 bites between us. Everywhere I have eaten before both nice restaurants and casual places will not charge you the full cost of something they screw up. Heck most places will not charge you if you just don't like it! Even if they had offered half off, or given us our appetizer for free or anything we would have moved on with our day. This was likely the last straw. The service is so terrible and it is clear they do not appreciate their patrons, I cannot recommend this place. read more

This place is good. I am so glad we have a Thai place in Cache Valley. Their Chicken Satay was delicious as with their potstickers. For the entree, I liked the Pad Thai the most even over the Drunken Noodles. They have the most popular Thai dish down! As for the curries, we had the red and Panang curry, and both were good but have had better. One more thing that makes me happy is that their food is very reasonably priced. They have a 6.95 lunch special which I will have to take advantage of some day but their appetizers were all around 5-6 dollars. read more

We dined in and had a pretty terrible experience. First, our server had no idea what she was doing. She asked us 3 or 4 times what we ordered and brought our food out separately. She told my husband, "I think this might be the peppered steak. Does this look right?" When I got my food 10 minutes later it was a disappointment. The Pad Thai would have been good if the chicken wasn't such low quality. I tried to eat around it, but it kind of ruined the dish. To top it off, the server ended up charging is for someone else's meal. When I corrected her, she argued with me. Finally a supervisor came over and charged us for what we actually ordered. What a wonderful experience! I was pleasantly surprised at the ambiance when taken to this restaurant. It has been said that if the restrooms are clean, the food will be great! This was the case at my visit. We were there for lunch and had one of the lunch specials. I had the Pad-See-Ew with chicken and picked a #3 rating for the spiciness. Perfect lunch! My companion had the I Love Veggie and it, too, was memorable. The wait staff is friendly, competent and knowledgeable. And, being that they were also working with a very large group in a private room, our food was still delivered on a timely basis. I'm stoked to finally have a Thai place back in Logan, but this is definitely still a new establishment. I ordered some pad Thai over the phone for takeout, when I got there the open sign was off and the parking lot empty- 20 min after I called it in. Apparently they break from 3:30-4:30 (according to a handwritten sign). The host I paid for my food didn't give me $1 change I was owed or a receipt, just stopped me at the door to take the ticket off the bag I was given (I usually tip a $ or 2 for takeout but it was weird/sketchy to not have the option). In the bag there was just a jam packed plastic container, no utensils or napkins- lid was partially open. So no points for anything other than the food which is pretty tasty and fresh. Regular takeout entree size is what you'd expect for $10 Thai. When I ordered, the person on the phone couldn't tell me the difference in size for the lunch and regular entree, which was also weird but again, not worth pushing the issue, to me. I got the 3 level spicy (?) it's not super spicy, more of an after tingle but idk how that would translate to different dishes. I'd advise Thai House to get it together in regard to takeout because that's annoying to deal with, but the food (so far) is better than anything similar I've gotten in town. I'm still giving it four stars because of speed, freshness and taste of the food for my takeout order, and I want this place to stick around. read more

I was in Thailand earlier this year, and i think this was superior to any of the pad thai I had out there. Have to agree with other reviewers that the food is GREAT but the service is poor. We had to approach our waitress for refills, even though she was walking by constantly to serve other tables. They have inexperienced, young girls, so hopefully the service will improve as they gain more experience. Leaving 4 stars due to the service, but the food is an easy 5 stars. The restaurant at 200 South 51 West is definitely a nice addition to the Logan food scene. The interior is decorated quite nicely with several different rooms with comfortable tables and booths to afford a comfortable dining experience. The server arrived at my table immediately and took my drink order. After perusing the extensive menu I started out with the Steamed Pork, Beef & Chicken Dumplings with Vegetables and the House Curry with Chicken and Vegetables with a #2 spiciness. The Dumplings were just OK and I discovered I much prefer to have them pan-fried. No fault with the restaurant, just my preference. The House Curry with Chicken and Vegetables was perfect and had just enough "hotness" to enjoy the many delicious flavors without being overwhelmed with a runny nose. The server checked back several times to refill my water glass and to ensure all was OK. All in all a pleasant experience and definitely will be back especially when it warms up enough to sit on their nice big patio. read more
