The Toast delivery person left my food on a trash can by my garage door instead of knocking on my front door! Who does that? I was so excited I thought to eat at this restaurant I thought. I ordered a spicy chicken with vegetables and rice when I got home and tasted it. The chicken taste like I could throw it against the wall and it would bounce back. It was just that rubberize - hard . I immediately called because I had paid almost 20 dollars and the manager told me on a snowy night in Vermont that I had to bring the food back in order for them to reimburse me. What a nice little (family owned?) Thai restaurant! Looks like it may be the husband and wife running the place? But what do I know. Food was good. I ordered the Golden Triangles (fried tofu) and Drunken noodles (of course). Food was good, although, they don't use the fresh wide rice noodles I expected. My first trip to Vermont in several years. I don't believe Thai food was even an option several years ago. Fortunately, times have changed and Thai House is now an option is the Saint Albans area. Thai House definitely delivered a wonderful experience. I called ahead and a nice lady took my reservation for five guest. Once we arrived, everything was set up and ready for us. Thai House is a BYOB and there is a supermarket right across the parking lot. No hard liquor tho, only wine. The menu at Thai House has many options. I ordered the Thai House basil with chicken extra spicy. I truly enjoyed my meal and my friends who enjoyed such things as spicy shrimp and fried rice were pleased with their meals as well. The staff is very friendly and most of the reviews that I read prior to proved to be true. In fact, even the taxi drivers dropping us off said, it's one of his favorites. If I should return in the very near future, Thai House will definitely be top on my list. read more

You are NOT the best Thai food in New England...sorry...I'm pretty sure there's some place in Boston that kicks your ass in that department...Even Thai Thai in Essex wins that battle. However, for what you do offer, you're pretty damn good. In fact, given the demographic you serve (yup, I said it), I'm pretty damn happy with what you've got to offer. Tremendous hidden gem in St Albans. Lovely staff and the food is always fresh and packed with flavor. My personal favorite is the pad Thai. They let you adjust the level of spiciness 1-5 which is great being a big fan of some heat. Stopped in today for a pick up order and ended up walking out with my order and an additional one on the house. A kind gesture and an example of a small business doing it right! Oh my god. I have not written a review in literally years but this was the absolute most terrible food and I am still in shock!!! The atmosphere was fine, the woman working the front was super nice....I am extremely empathetic when it comes to restaurants but WOW!! We ordered- drunken noodles with tofu, rainbow green house with chicken, volcano shrimp, and Tom kha with tofu. The volcano shrimp was just a huge pile of mush. Inedible. The drunken noodles did not have any sauce, just noodles veggies and like three pieces of tofu cut in half, and the rainbow green house was sauce less as well even tho it was supposed to come with "Thai House Sauce" I cannot speak for the Tom kha because we didn't even try it...everything was extremely sour and dry. It barely even qualifies as bad Chinese food. So so disappointed :( especially after spending $60! read more

I've been here 7-8 times in the past year, it has become one of our local favorites, the atmosphere is quiet and lovely, the food is outstanding! I have had a variety of dishes from their menu and they've all been as wonderful as I hoped. The fried rice is out of this world! First time here was kinda on a whim! I've noticed the place anytime I go to Hannafords and it was a quiet "maybe I should try that place" but after seeing all the good reviews I decided it wouldn't be too bad! I was right (fellow yelpers were too!) I'm not very familiar with Thai - I've been slowly trying new things recently and enjoying it! Yum! I got chicken satay, garlic pepper and Thai custard sticky rice. I enjoyed the chicken satay, the peanut sauce was good with the chicken, upon the first bite I was a little sketched out, not knowing what exact I was eating and it confused me after that initial reaction, I tried a little more and quickly grew to like it. The garlic pepper was my favorite part of my meal - while it was a little too salty it was yummy, great flavors and maybe healthy(ish) too! The dessert is where I was a lost - the colors were off putting to my not so adventurous taste. While I did try it and I liked it, I found it hard to eat - the rice was deep black and the custard was green, I gave it to my friend who lives in my apartment building. While I wasn't too impressed with the service - she seemed kinda irritated with me not knowing what I wanted when I had to look at the menu at the register- I bought one home so next time I can just call ahead of time. The place could use a overhaul or at least get rid of the thick carpet! I'll be back to try more things on the menu - like the pineapple fried rice, pad thai, cashew nut and chicken noodle soup to mention a few! read more
