I read a bunch of reviews before coming here, all of them said unfriendly staff or too spicy food. The staff was so accommodating and kind. Our server was running her butt off trying to make sure her tables were taken care of. They literally give you the option of how spicy you want your food so if it's too spicy that falls on you. I was traveling through town with my kids after driving all day. The three of us were starved and looking for a vegan restaurant which we couldn't find, so we decided to stop here and see if they could Veganize a little something for us. The waitress named Avery went above and beyond to fix us up with several vegan dishes and ALL of them were fantastic. She was so friendly and helpful! Didn't expect this hidden gem in Pocatello. Passing through on a long drive & pulled up to our first choice lunch spot which had a note on the door that they were closed unexpectedly so we left it up to Yelp and decided upon Thai Kitchen. We were all happily surprised with how tasty all our dishes were. Even my husband who can be reluctant to eat Asian food (mostly because I choose it so often) was pleased with his dish - the crispy duck in honey sauce. The kids had the orange chicken which stayed crispy until the last bite and I had my favorite Thai dish of massaman curry. The menu deviated a bit from traditionalThai restaurant menus (hence the crispy duck in honey). We dined on a Saturday for lunch and they stayed busy throughout. My only suggestion would be to have better informed wait staff, our waitress though very pleasant told us she wasn't good at giving recommendations because she only eats chicken. read more

We decided to try this place on a Sunday evening, since half the town is closed on Sunday. We ordered delivery, it was really easy and convenient to order. The food was fast, hot, and delicious. We ordered the pepper steak and chicken with vegetables. We will definitely eat here again. read more

Stumbled upon this place while passing through town. I'm vegan but got the "orange chicken" with tofu and added broccoli during the $7.95 lunch special. Super tasty. A lil sad there was no vegan soup (included with lunch) but they hooked me up with the broccoli add on in its place. Brown rice also would have been nice but not an option here. Good nonetheless. Nice place to stop on our drive back to SLC from Yellowstone. Ordered over the phone and the food was ready by the time we made it into town. Great employees and delicious food. Huge portion sizes. I really loved the green curry although it was hard to eat in the car (ha!). Tofu was amazing - Usually you only get a few pieces but this place really loaded us up!!! read more

We ate here once because I was on a big Pho kick and it's one of the only places in Pocatello that offers it. Their pho was fine. It's not a Vietnamese pho so if you're expecting that you'll be dissatisfied. It has a stronger, darker broth to it and is very salty. I couldn't finish it because of how much salt it had to it. My husband had the pad Thai which he enjoyed but I tried a bite and it wasn't my favorite. It was too sweet for my tastes. Service was great though and the atmosphere was fine. The curry's were rich in flavor, the cream cheese wontons were perfectly lightly fried, and the Orange Chicken was delicious with not too much breading like most places, with succulent, juicy chicken bites. Terrible! Tiny servings, two small meals for over $30!! Shrimp still have the tails on them, and NO sticky rice! Spoke with the supervisor and all she said was "OK". Go to Thai Zap on Yellowstone where you can get double the servings for the same price. Horrible. Will never go there again read more

I was very hesitant to try this restaurant after eating such horrid Thai in Twin Falls. I asked the waitress what was her favorite dish there and instead of telling me HER favorite dish, she just named a popular dish. I went ahead and ordered the chicken pad Thai and it was very mediocre! My son ordered the Thai fried rice with beef that turned out good and my husband ordered the house curry with chicken that was easily the best curry we've ever had. Went here for lunch with my GF and ordered the Yellow Curry lunch specials with chicken for me and tofu for her. They ask you how spicy do you want your dish between 1-5. I went for a 4 just to play it safe. My GF went for a 2, because they don't have a 1 or non-spicy tofu curry version. She also had a Thai Iced Tea and I had a Thai Iced Coffee. I also had an appetizer of fried wontons. The potstickers were some of the best I've ever had. They're thick and golden brown. The Thai Iced Coffee was great but a bit too sweet - I guess I wanted more of a coffee kick rather than a sugar kick. No worries. The lunch special also came with a hearty egg drop soup(?). The broth was tasty. The yellow chicken curry I had was fantastic and had just the perfect kick in terms of spice. My GF's didn't go over to well, because even at a 2 - that was more than she's used to handling. We boxed hers to go. Thai Kitchen is medium sized but quite cozy and the booths are huge. Service was fantastic, friendly, and efficient. I stop short of giving it a 5-star, because I will be back to try the pad see ew and other curry offerings. In terms of flavor I'd say that, plus the restaurant forgetting to give us hot sauce (we to-go'd and asked for it on the side) is the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star. The flavor is just safe and not much to it but the green curry was great! Very spicy for a 2 star or had a kick so if you don't like spicy food I'd say get no stars or 1. My family was driving back to Utah from Yellowstone and we stopped at Thai Kitchen Restaurant. Service sucked but food was good. We had a total of 9 people with 5 adults and 4 kids. I didn't know I had to ask for water in order to get any. Didn't get water until my food came out. I order thum kha and it was very flavorful. The squid salad had about 4 pieces of squid and the rest was veggies. Still a good place to eat. But not sure if I'd return because of the water incident. read more

Ordered the Pad Thai with chicken 0 spice with a side of Golden Tofu and a Thai Iced Tea. The food was delicious and good portions as well! I've been trying all tofu dishes I see in places and the golden tofu was really good especially with the peanut sweet and sour sauce. The Thai Iced Tea was an experiment since I generally find them too flavored, but this one was well balanced. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good Thai Food! read more

AWFUL. My husband and I love Thai food, and I always get pad Thai the first time as a benchmark to compare different restaurants. We came to this restaurant back in 2014 and the food was terrible. My pad Thai was an awkward, sticky orange consistency unlike any pad Thai I've had at the last 6 places we've tried. Hubby was not impressed with his curry either. They only do sweet sticky rice with their dessert, which was crazy to us. Sticky rice is a staple with Thai entrees!! Because of that experience, it's taken me 4 years to convince my husband to give them a second try. Tonight's pad Thai was worse than the first. Instead of having normal chopped veggie toppings, there was a handful of store bought coleslaw smashed on top. I couldn't choke down the soggy orange noodles. I'll be sticking to Thai Paradise from now on. Their service might not be as good, but at least their food makes up for it! read more

Ordered the Phad Thai chicken and the beef salad. The biggest disappointment is the lack of sauce. Both dishes were extremely dry. The flavor was bland at best an and overall disappointment.
