My boyfriend and I had the best time in this place near Fort Lauderdale riding in front of the broad walk at the second floor. We were just walking find something to eat and then we'll stop by this Thai place. The food was exquisite, and the survice was amazing. My boyfriend who is and spicy lover, ask for something really spicy, and he almost cried. My Ramen was perfectly cooked, seasoned, and additional taro bubble tea, which was a great combination. Feel free to ask them for recommendations. The place wasn't busy, no reservation and you can park just in front of the street. The food was ready in a couple of minutes and we had a great time with the view from our window. beach view of course. The staff, cook, waitress are all friendly, but the hostess was bit rude or off? Don't know what her problem was. She looked Indian and not Thai like the rest of the staff and she came in with just a bad attitude. Not sure if she was having a bad day or if she was hung over or something? This place has a sweet view of the beach and ocean so you know to survive after all these years the food must be legit. The ambiance was okay because it was smelling very strong, probably it was because of the open kitchen. I got a table outside but after we placed the order, it took close to 30 frigging mins to serve a simple fried rice!! I can loosen some slack because it was Christmas, but we were dying from hunger! It's so lovely to eat Thai food while seeing the ocean views! I loved the Panang Curry, which I ordered with a side of fried tofu. The fried tofu addition made it much better than it was without it with just vegetables The waiters brought it out quickly and were very accommodating to give me a great seat overlooking the ocean! The food was great but a little weird. Who puts broccoli and avocado in Thai food? The place has a "hole in the wall" feel to it, you get to peek into the kitchen as you walk into the tiny, dirty bathroom. We were all good until the bill came. They automatically tacked on a big, fat TWENTY percent tip for them selves because they thought they were that good of a server and that stupid tourists that will only be there once will pay it. The sweetest little girl possible greeted me the moment I walked in, sat me immediately and brought a menu and the iced tea I ordered. I ordered the Thai dumplings and Massaman curry chicken. The dumplings came out first and just as I was finishing the last one the Massaman arrived. The dumplings were awesome, made me smile eating them like I was on the other side of the planet. The massaman chicken was just perfect and that is saying alot from me. I added a bit of the spicy oil they provide to move it to my preferred level of kick and I can't say I've ever enjoyed Massaman more than I did here. What a treat, with a beach view. What a cute place and delicious food! It's on the second floor above a pizza shop. The views are great to people watch and enjoy the ocean views. The staff are friendly and attentive. Started with some ice cold beers. We got three dishes so we could try a few things on the menu. The beef soup was by far both of our favorites. It had such delicious flavors and amazing aroma. We also had the Panang curry with veggies and the chicken pad Thai. They were also good. I felt like the pad Thai was lacking a bit of flavor. It's our first time in Ft Lauderdale and since we'd been traveling all day, we were pretty hungry. A quick search on Yelp and we found Thai on the beach. It's a small restaurant on the second floor of a little strip mall right across the street from the beach. The staff were very friendly. And the food was pretty good. Although, I personally prefer a little more flavor and spice. The reason I gave it three stars is because the price is kind of high for the food type and amount. I will start off by saying that I have been here before and the food and service has always been great. Today, was not so great. Early afternoon, party of 2. We walked in and stood at the entrance, waiting to be assisted. There was one family, and two other tables with patrons. We stood there for a literally three minutes and no one greeted us, no hello, seat yourself, will be with you in a minute... Just nothing. After standing there, feeling awkward, we sat ourselves. After seating ourselves, we had to look around for a menu (of course went straight to my Yelp for pictures). Now, seated at the table, still no greeting. The hostess continue to assist the other families and tables. I had to say "hello, are you going to help us?" Which I did not like doing because the restaurant is small and now everyone can hear me. So, after getting her attention, having been seated at the table for about 10 minutes, she came. We ordered our food and it was great. I still love the restaurant and the food, but maybe they should hire some more help. It was an awkward experience. Would I come back? Yes. This is a hidden gem. read more

This place is simply amazing! My best friend and I were in town for the weekend and we stayed a few blocks away from this restaurant. We are always searching for good pad Thai and beef noodle soup (Thai version) and this place did not disappoint. They have the BEST Thai beef noodle soup we ever had in over a decade. Their beef noodle soup reminds us of home (lived in the boarder of Thailand and Burma) so it lit up our moods. Their pad Thai was also very tasty and were glad that the noodle were not cut up (a lot of places do which prevent me from ordering pad Thai in unfamiliar restaurants). Their calamari were very flavorful and goes well with the sweet&sour sauce provided. They have excellent customer service and place is very clean with a nice view. Since the restaurant is on the second floor, it may be hard to get to for some people. Give them a try if you're in town, you will not regret it. We'll see you when we're back in town! First thing off, the view of the beach is absolutely stunning and alone is a reason to come here. But I would also come here for the food and drinks alone. They had a fine selection of sake and wines, but I opted for a taro milk tea with boba that was very good quality for $6. My dad and I started our meal with their fried calamari appetizer, and everything about it was very well executed. The calamari were good size pieces and were fried perfectly and tasted very clean and paired very well their "plum sauce" which was more of a typical thai chili spring roll sauce if you asked me. For our entrees, we ordered the chicken pad thai that we asked for to be "thai hot" and their massamam curry with rice that we ordered just hot. Their pad thai was very well sauced and carried the perfect amount of spice (not too spicy in my opinion but I wish it was hotter but that is just me). If anything, I would ask for more crushed peanuts to be in the dish but it would be for the texture contrast not the flavor for the sauce was perfectly nutty that complimented the slight tang and sweetness. The massamam curry was also delicious, seasoned very well, carrying slightly nutty notes from the cashews and very creamy yet savory, pairing perfectly with their jasmine rice. As someone who has eaten massamam curry before, it was nothing mind blowing but if you've never tried it I would recommend you do. The service was also very good, and the owner is very friendly and accommodating. They did forget our extra bowl of rice that we ordered but I could see that they were very busy because of the Christmas eve dinner rush and it is a very small place.
